As artificial intelligence rapidly transforms the modern world, concerns are growing over how the technology could reshape national security, warfare, censorship, surveillance, economic influence, and the balance of global power. In response to these rising concerns, Breitbart News is hosting an exclusive online event featuring several of its top writers and researchers to discuss what they describe as the emerging battle for control of artificial intelligence.
The event, titled “The Invisible War: AI, China, and the Battle for Global Control,” will take place online on Sunday, May 31, at 8 p.m. Eastern Time and 5 p.m. Pacific Time.
The discussion will feature Breitbart senior contributor and investigative author Peter Schweizer, Breitbart social media director and bestselling author Wynton Hall, Breitbart editor-in-chief Alex Marlow, and Breitbart international editor Frances Martel.
Organizers say the event will focus on the growing competition between world powers — particularly the United States and China — to dominate artificial intelligence technologies that could define the future of military strength, economic leadership, global influence, and political control.
Wynton Hall, who also serves as Breitbart’s social media director, is the New York Times bestselling author of “Code Red: The Left, the Right, China, and the Race to Control AI.” According to Breitbart, the book was written to help conservatives better understand how artificial intelligence is already shaping politics, media, culture, and international competition before what Hall describes as “the battle for control” reaches a point of no return.
Peter Schweizer, president of the Government Accountability Institute and a longtime Breitbart contributor, will also bring his expertise on China and global political influence to the discussion. Schweizer is the author of the number-one New York Times bestseller “The Invisible Coup: How American Elites and Foreign Powers Use Immigration as a Weapon.”
Breitbart noted that Schweizer’s investigative work on China and the Chinese Communist Party attracted attention from President Donald Trump and reportedly led to Schweizer briefing the president in the Oval Office on his research into Chinese influence and geopolitical strategy.
Alex Marlow, Breitbart’s editor-in-chief and bestselling author, along with international editor Frances Martel, are also expected to provide analysis on global affairs, media influence, political power, and international competition surrounding emerging technologies.
According to promotional materials for the event, several major themes will be explored during the live discussion.
One topic will focus on China’s artificial intelligence ambitions and how Beijing is investing heavily in technologies that could shape the next era of global dominance. Speakers are expected to discuss concerns over how AI could affect economic competition, military capabilities, cyberwarfare, and geopolitical strategy in the years ahead.
Another major subject will center on surveillance and government control. Organizers say the event will examine how artificial intelligence systems can potentially be used to monitor citizens, track personal behavior, and enforce political or social compliance through advanced data collection and digital oversight systems.
The discussion will also address the growing role of Big Tech companies and AI-driven information systems in shaping public opinion. Speakers are expected to explore how artificial intelligence may influence the information people consume online, including what users see, read, hear, and believe across digital platforms.
National security concerns are also expected to be a central part of the conversation. Organizers describe the AI race as more than simply a technological or economic competition, arguing that it has serious military, intelligence, and cybersecurity implications for the future of global power.
The event will include a live audience question-and-answer session, allowing participants to directly interact with the panelists and ask questions about artificial intelligence, China, censorship, technology, and global affairs.
Breitbart announced that access to the online discussion will be limited exclusively to eligible members of its “Breitbart Fight Club” subscription community. According to the organization, viewers can gain access by signing up for a “Middleweight” annual membership, after which a registration pass for the event will be emailed to members.
In promoting the event, Breitbart described the Fight Club as an opportunity for supporters to interact directly with researchers, journalists, and commentators through live online forums and exclusive discussions.
The organization also promoted membership perks tied to the subscription package, including branded merchandise such as a Breitbart coffee mug and a rocks glass for members who join before the registration deadline.
Breitbart encouraged interested viewers to register before midnight on Friday, May 29, in order to secure access to the exclusive livestream event and participate in the discussion surrounding artificial intelligence, China, and the future of global influence.
