The Vegas Golden Knights won Game 4 of the Western Conference Finals against the Colorado Avalanche by a final score of 2-1. With the win, Vegas sweeps the series against Colorado 4-0. They advance to the Stanley Cup Finals for the third time in nine seasons. The Golden Knights have won title in 2023 and lost in 2018.
Well, they are either going to face the Carolina Hurricanes or the Montreal Canadiens. Vegas knocks out the Presidents’ Trophy winners. The last time a team won it all winning that Trophy in the same season was the 2013 Chicago Blackhawks.

It is amazing what this team has done since they fired Bruce Cassidy as head coach and brought in John Torterella with just eight games left in the regular season. If Vegas wins it all, it will be the second time in franchise history that they have won it all. The Golden Knights might be the best expansion team in sports history. Jack Eichel, Mitchell Marner, or Carter Hart might be the favorites to win the Conn Smythe Trophy.
