The Trump administration on Mother’s Day introduced Moms.gov, a new online resource developed by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services to provide information and support services for mothers, expecting parents, and young families.

In a statement announcing the launch, HHS described the site as “a groundbreaking website for new and expecting mothers” that offers guidance intended to support “the health and well-being of mothers and their families.”

According to the department, the platform was created to consolidate information related to pregnancy, maternal healthcare, infant well-being, nutrition, and family assistance programs into a single location accessible to parents nationwide.

The agency stated that the website also provides assistance for parents experiencing difficult or unexpected pregnancies, including information on pregnancy centers, Federally Qualified Health Centers, nutritional support, Trump Accounts, and other programs connected to maternal and infant health.

HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. said the administration is using the initiative to expand support systems for families and parents.

“This Mother’s Day, the Trump Administration is strengthening its commitment to America’s families by equipping mothers and fathers with the resources and information they need to build healthy, prosperous lives,” Kennedy said.

“Moms.gov delivers critical tools and support to help parents foster healthy pregnancies, strengthen young families, and create brighter futures for their children. This is how you Make America Healthy Again.”

Deputy Assistant Secretary for Women’s Health Dorothy Fink, MD, also addressed the launch, emphasizing the relationship between maternal care and women’s health outcomes more broadly.

“On Mother’s Day, we recognize that the health of mothers and the health of women are deeply connected,” Fink said.

“Through our Perinatal Improvement Collaborative [PDF], we have reduced maternal mortality by 41.5%. We remain committed to supporting women’s health throughout motherhood and at every stage of life.”

The federal website includes information related to prenatal care, breastfeeding, adoption, mental health, preconception health, and nutritional guidance for pregnant and nursing mothers. It also directs users to Federally Qualified Health Centers for prenatal and maternal healthcare services.

According to HHS, the portal contains sections focused on pregnancy support services, maternal nutrition guidance based on the Dietary Guidelines for Americans, Trump Rx resources for women and parents, and educational information about common pregnancy conditions.

The rollout coincided with a maternal healthcare event held Monday at the White House, where President Donald Trump highlighted the administration’s maternal health initiatives and broader family-focused policy efforts.
