Mahopac students explore careers
Career day in Mahopac

MAHOPAC- Future career paths and service opportunities were explored at Mahopac High School Friday when Putnam’s largest high school conducted its annual Career and Service-Learning Fair.

Organized by April Ljumic, administrator for school counseling, the fair welcomed a wide range of professionals, organizations and agencies which shared their experiences and insights with students.

Ljumic described the event as a “valuable experience for our students.”

She expressed gratitude to the school’s “community partners who take the time to share their knowledge. Their willingness to connect with our students helps open doors and give students a better understanding of the many paths available to them after high school.”

Superintendent of Schools Frank Miele praised the efforts behind the event and the impact it has on students.

“We are fortunate to have such a strong partnership between our schools and community organizations,” said Miele who added: “April and the entire team did an outstanding job organizing this event, and we are grateful to everyone who participated. Opportunities like this help our students better prepare for their future.”
