Something deeply troubling is happening in this country — and most Americans can feel it.

In the last two weeks alone, the United States has experienced four separate terror attacks or attempted terror incidents. Yet if you rely on the mainstream media for information, you would barely know it happened. No wall-to-wall coverage. No urgent investigative panels. No relentless questioning of leadership.

Just quiet headlines… and then silence.

That silence should concern every American.

The first attack involved a violent assault tied to extremist ideology that authorities are now investigating as terrorism. The second incident involved a plot that was thankfully disrupted before it could cause mass casualties. The third attack targeted civilians in a public area, sending shockwaves through a local community. And the fourth — another coordinated threat — has raised serious questions about how these individuals were radicalized and whether warning signs were missed.

Four incidents. Four warnings.

And yet the national conversation is strangely muted.

Imagine for a moment if these attacks had been carried out by people belonging to a politically convenient narrative. The media would be demanding hearings. Cable news panels would run nonstop analysis. Politicians would be giving fiery speeches about domestic extremism and the need for sweeping new policies.

But when the facts do not align with the preferred storyline, the coverage fades quickly.

Americans deserve better than selective outrage.

Terrorism — no matter the ideology behind it — should be treated with the same seriousness every time. Communities deserve answers. Law enforcement deserves transparency. And citizens deserve to know whether our leaders are addressing the root causes of these threats or simply hoping the news cycle moves on.

Instead, what we are seeing is a dangerous pattern: downplay the story, avoid the uncomfortable questions, and hope the public doesn’t notice.

But Americans are noticing.

People across the country are asking the same questions the media refuses to ask:

How were these attackers radicalized?
Were they already on law enforcement radar?
Did intelligence agencies miss warning signs?
Are there larger networks involved?

These are not partisan questions. These are questions of public safety.

Ignoring them does not make the threat disappear.

History has shown that when governments and media institutions fail to confront uncomfortable truths, the consequences only grow more severe. Transparency and accountability are not luxuries in a free society — they are necessities.

Right now, Americans are watching closely.

They want facts. They want honesty. And they want leaders and journalists who are willing to ask the hard questions instead of protecting political narratives.

Because when terror strikes American soil, silence is not journalism.

It’s negligence.

Bottom line: Four terror incidents in two weeks should be a national alarm bell. If the mainstream media won’t investigate and demand answers, the American people will.
