A Florida woman accused of firing an AR-15-style rifle at the Los Angeles home of pop star Rihanna has been charged with attempted murder and multiple firearm-related offenses, prosecutors said Tuesday.

The suspect, Ivanna Ortiz, 35, faces one count of attempted murder, 10 counts of assault with a semiautomatic firearm and three felony counts of shooting at an inhabited dwelling or camper, according to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office.

District Attorney Nathan Hochman said the charges relate to 10 victims, including Rihanna, her partner A$AP Rocky, their three children, three household staff members and two people at a neighboring residence also struck by gunfire. Authorities confirmed that no one was injured in the incident.

Ortiz’s bail has been set at $1.875 million. If convicted, she could face life in prison. Her arraignment is scheduled for later this month.

Investigators said Rihanna and A$AP Rocky were inside an Airstream camping trailer on the property at the time of the shooting, which prosecutors counted as one of three inhabited dwellings targeted.

Speaking outside the downtown courthouse, Hochman said the case highlights the seriousness of the alleged attack. “When an individual comes into our community and decides to shoot it up, that individual will be arrested and held fully accountable for her actions,” he said.

Jim McDonnell told police commissioners that neighbors reported seeing a woman, possibly wearing a wig, driving a white Tesla near the property before gunfire erupted.

Police later used automatic license plate recognition technology to track the vehicle to the Sherman Oaks neighborhood, where Ortiz was stopped and taken into custody without incident.

Officers said they recovered an AR-15-style rifle, spent casings and a blond wig inside the car, along with additional ammunition and a 30 -round magazine in the trunk. Authorities said the motive for the shooting remains under investigation.
