Sullivan County Democratic Committee endorses Frazier for Senate

MONTICELLO – Sullivan County Democratic Committee has endorsed Michele Frazier for State Senate in the 51^st District.

That district includes all of Delaware, Schoharie, Sullivan, and Otsego counties, as well as parts of Broome, Chenango, and Ulster.

The Ulster County Democratic Committee has also endorsed the

Delhi candidate.

Frazier said she is running “because families throughout upstate New York and the 51^st District are facing huge affordability challenges.”

She pointed to the Benjamin Center at SUNY New Paltz report that said in an area that includes Sullivan County, “half of all households are living paycheck to paycheck, and 15 percent face shutoffs for unpaid utility bills.”

Frazier called that “unacceptable.”
