The United States and several key allies in the Middle East have issued a powerful joint statement strongly condemning what they described as Iran’s “indiscriminate and reckless missile and drone attacks” across the region.

The coordinated response underscores rising tensions and growing concern over regional stability as missile fire and drone launches intensify.

According to a press release from the United States Department of State, the United States joined Bahrain, Jordan, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates in denouncing what they called unjustified attacks on sovereign territory.

The countries emphasized that the strikes not only violated international norms but also endangered civilian lives and damaged infrastructure.

The joint statement came amid a sharp escalation in hostilities following coordinated strikes by the United States and Israel targeting Iranian missile capabilities.

In response, Iran launched waves of missiles and drones toward several neighboring countries. Leaders across the region described the retaliatory action as dangerous and destabilizing.

“The United States, Bahrain, Jordan, Kuwait, Qatar, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates strongly condemn the Islamic Republic of Iran’s indiscriminate and reckless missile and drone attacks against sovereign territories across the region,” the statement read.

It specifically cited attacks impacting Bahrain, Iraq — including the Iraqi Kurdistan Region — Jordan, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates.

Officials stressed that the “unjustified strikes targeted sovereign territory, endangered civilian populations, and damaged civilian infrastructure,” adding that such actions threaten broader regional peace and security.

The coalition warned that targeting countries not directly involved in active hostilities represents a serious violation of sovereignty and could further inflame tensions.

Reporting from Breitbart News highlighted that as of Sunday night, Iran had launched missiles and drones at seven neighboring countries: Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, and Bahrain. The scope of the attacks raised alarm among defense officials and international observers alike.

The Emirati Ministry of Defense confirmed that hundreds of missiles and drones were launched toward the United Arab Emirates, with most intercepted by air defense systems. However, falling debris reportedly struck civilian areas, resulting in at least one fatality. The incident underscored the risks posed even when missile defense systems successfully intercept incoming threats.

In a separate development, British Defence Secretary John Healey told the BBC that Iran had fired two missiles toward Cyprus. According to reports cited by The Jerusalem Post, the missiles fell short and landed in the water, avoiding direct impact but heightening concerns about the expanding geographic reach of the confrontation.

In their concluding remarks, the allied nations described Iran’s actions as “a dangerous escalation” that violates the sovereignty of multiple states and threatens regional stability. They warned that continued attacks could deepen instability in an already volatile region and called for de-escalation to prevent further harm to civilians.

As tensions continue to unfold, the joint condemnation signals a rare and unified stance among the United States and several Arab nations, highlighting shared concerns over security, sovereignty, and the protection of civilian life in the Middle East.
