Widow of slain activist Charlie Kirk now leads Turning Point USA amid internal debate over foreign policy direction.

Erika Kirk will attend Tuesday’s State of the Union address as the personal guest of President Donald Trump, according to a report by the Daily Wire.
Kirk’s husband, Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk, was assassinated in September during an outdoor event at Utah Valley University. Authorities charged 22-year-old Tyler Robinson in connection with the shooting. Robinson faces murder charges and prosecutors have indicated they may seek the death penalty.
Since the killing, Erika Kirk has assumed leadership of Turning Point USA, one of the nation’s largest conservative youth outreach organizations. Her tenure has drawn scrutiny amid a public dispute over the group’s direction, particularly concerning U.S.-Israel relations.
The internal debate has centered in part on media personality Tucker Carlson, who frequently appears at Turning Point USA events. Carlson has faced criticism from some conservative commentators for his skepticism regarding U.S. involvement in potential conflict with Iran and for interviews with figures such as Nick Fuentes.
Erika Kirk has declined calls from some prominent Jewish conservatives, including Laura Loomer, to distance the organization from Carlson.
Her appearance at the State of the Union comes as Republicans maintain a narrow majority in the House and as the Trump administration outlines its legislative priorities for the coming year.
