GOSHEN – A Goshen woman who admitted that in August 2014 she and her then-boyfriend killed an 81-year-old woman in her Goshen home, has had her prison sentence of 19 years to life upheld by the Appellate Division of State Supreme Court.

Jennifer Molyneaux, who admitted to a murder charge, maintained her sentence was excessive, but the high court rejected that claim.

Molyneaux had admitted that Devin Giordano of Goshen, then 22, and she had broken into the home of Helen Mills with the intent of getting drug money.

Goshen firefighters were summoned to the victim’s home at 84 Green Street in the Village of Goshen for a report of a fire, which was believed started by the couple to cover up the murder.
