Several on-air personalities from ABC’s daytime talk show The View are named in recently released materials commonly referred to as the Epstein Files, according to a review conducted by NewsBusters and publicized by journalist Nicholas Fondacaro. The references have drawn attention because the program’s hosts have frequently discussed the Epstein case in recent months.

In a post shared on X on February 4, 2026, Fondacaro reported that multiple cast members are mentioned by name in the records. According to the post, Whoopi Goldberg appears 21 times, Alyssa Farah Griffin 20 times, Joy Behar three times, and Ana Navarro twice. Sunny Hostin and Sara Haines were not referenced in the documents reviewed. Fondacaro summarized the findings in a post available here.

Fondacaro’s analysis was published by NewsBusters in a report available here. According to that report, a search of the U.S. Department of Justice’s online database for names associated with the show returned a total of 46 references across the released files. The review accounted for variations in names, including maiden names and alternative spellings.

The NewsBusters report also highlighted an email included in the Epstein materials that referenced Goldberg in connection with a 2013 charity event in Monaco. The email described a request for possible use of a private aircraft owned by Jeffrey Epstein to transport Goldberg to a White Feather Foundation event. According to the email quoted in the report, “Whoopi Goldberg needs a plane to get to Monaco. John Lennon’s Charity is paying for it. They don’t want to charter so they are looking for private owners.”

Fondacaro further shared images of the referenced email in a separate X post, which stated that correspondence showed someone reaching out to Epstein on Goldberg’s behalf regarding use of his Gulfstream G2 jet. That post is available here.

The NewsBusters article noted that while the Epstein Files have been a frequent topic of discussion on The View, none of the cast members mentioned in the records have addressed the references to their names in the released materials. The report did not allege criminal wrongdoing by any of the individuals named and focused solely on the presence of their names within the documents.

The Epstein Files consist of emails, contact lists, and other records released as part of ongoing disclosures tied to investigations and litigation surrounding Epstein and his associates. Mentions of individuals in the files do not necessarily indicate involvement in criminal activity, but have nonetheless generated public and media scrutiny as additional materials continue to be made public.
