LOCH SHELDRKE – A 42-year-old Loch Sheldrake man has been arrested by the Fallsburg Police Department for allegedly threatening multiple individuals with a BB gun.
Joseph Orrego has been charged with menacing and criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree, a felony. Police responded to a residence at the River Valley Estates in Loch Sheldrake for a reported menacing with a firearm on Thursday. Officers and detectives conducted an investigation into the alleged incident.
It was reported that Orrego had menaced multiple individuals with a firearm. After further investigation, police recovered multiple BB guns from Orrego’s home, and he was taken into custody. He was arraigned in the Town of Fallsburg Justice Court by the Honorable Judge Scheinman and was then remanded to the Sullivan County Jail.
Orrego is due back in the Town of Fallsburg Justice Court at a later date.
