What we are witnessing in Iran right now is not a protest — it is an uprising.

For weeks, millions of Iranians have flooded the streets across the country, openly defying one of the most brutal regimes on Earth. From Tehran to Mashhad, from Isfahan to small provincial cities, the people are saying what the world’s elites don’t want to hear: they are done being ruled by fear.

The regime has responded the only way it knows how — with violence.

Reports indicate thousands have been killed, many more injured, and tens of thousands arrested. Internet blackouts have been imposed to silence the truth. Security forces, including the Revolutionary Guard, have been deployed against their own people. Snipers. Raids. Mass detentions.

And yet — the protests continue.

This uprising didn’t start overnight. It’s the result of years of crushing inflation, government corruption, religious authoritarianism, and the total erosion of basic freedoms. Young Iranians, especially, have reached a breaking point. They have no future under the current system — and they know it.

What’s different this time is the boldness.

Crowds are no longer chanting for reforms. They are openly rejecting the clerical regime itself. That is a line that, once crossed, is almost impossible to walk back.

The government claims this is all foreign interference. That lie is getting old. You don’t need foreign agitators when your people can’t afford food, can’t speak freely, and can’t live without fear of arrest.

The truth is simple: the regime is terrified.

Terrified of cameras. Terrified of young people. Terrified of a population that no longer believes the propaganda. Terrified of what happens when the world actually pays attention.

And here’s the part the mainstream media won’t say plainly: if this uprising succeeds, it will reshape the entire Middle East.

A free or destabilized Iran changes global energy markets, regional power balances, and the future of Islamist authoritarianism. That’s why so many global leaders are speaking cautiously — or not at all.

But silence is complicity.

The people of Iran are risking everything — their freedom, their lives — to reclaim their country. They don’t need lectures. They need truth, visibility, and pressure on the regime.

History shows us that when governments shut down the internet, it’s not because they’re strong — it’s because they’re losing.

This story is far from over.

And make no mistake: the world is watching — even if some would rather look away.

After hundreds of the protesters were killed, people in northern Iran, thousands of them still took to the streets. Iranians suffered from over 4 decades of oppression, the women there could not even let their hair free. I stand with them! pic.twitter.com/Map656ah0f
