TOWN OF WALLKILL – The Galleria at Crystal Run shopping center in the Town of Wallkill was temporarily closed at around 1:30 p.m. on Monday when fire erupted in the stock room of one of the businesses, the town said.

Mechanicstown firefighters rushed to the scene at Dick’s Sporting Goods while other neighboring departments responded under mutual aid.

The town sent out a robocall to town residents alerting them of the fire and announcing that the mall would be closed temporarily while the incident was handled.
