Italian police arrested nine people who allegedly raised millions for Hamas terror organization, which is known for various terror activities with its recent massacre on October 7, 2023 in Israel which unfolded two year long war between Israel and Hamas in Gaza.

According to The Associate Press, the suspects raised around $8.2 millions for Gaza based Hamas. The arrested nine people have links with three charities.

The official purpose of the fund raising was shown to help the struggling people in Palestine with a humanitarian motto but more than 70% of those funds were directly transferred to Hamas.

Two more international arrests have been issued in this connection, reported Times of Israel.

Mohammad Hannoun, president of the Palestinian Association in Italy was one of the arrested persons among those 9.

Such associates’ direct link with Hamas once again raises question over the neutrality of the pro-Palestinian organizations.

The arrests took place amid massive anti-Israel protests going on in Italy.
