President Donald Trump said Sunday he is prepared to release the results of an MRI he underwent in October, insisting the scan showed “perfect” findings even as the White House has declined to clarify why the test was performed.

Speaking with reporters while returning to Washington from Florida, Trump said the decision was up to the public. “If you want to have it released, I’ll release it,” he said, adding that he was told the results were flawless.

The White House has not specified what part of Trump’s body was scanned during last month’s physical at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. Press secretary Karoline Leavitt previously described the MRI only as “advanced imaging” conducted as part of a routine exam, saying Trump remains in “exceptional physical health.”

On Sunday, Trump insisted he could not recall which body part was scanned. “I have no idea on what part of my body I got the MRI,” he said. “It was just an MRI. What part of the body? It wasn’t the brain because I took a cognitive test and I aced it.”

The lack of details has fueled ongoing questions about the purpose of the imaging, though the administration maintains there is no cause for concern.
