You know what's funny? It's crazy how you can clearly, sanely give somebody your experience,
your truth, and they somehow in their mind translate it to, oh girl, you're insane,
you're delusional, you're going crazy. I never understood that. I thought everyone's experience,
I thought everyone's point of view, perspective was individualized, right? That's how it should
go. That's how it normally went. I didn't know if I was experiencing something because
it wasn't ever your experience or it's not the way you thought I should be experiencing.
That made me crazy. I never understood. I didn't even know there were people who thought like that,
to be honest. I thought you take everybody's experience as their experience at face value,
right? That's how it normally is, right? Or am I missing something?
Am I? Let me know if I'm crazy because I'm confused. On the last video I posted
where I was giving my full on experience when it comes to living in Dubai while it's a war zone
currently, there were so many commenters that just did not believe my experience was true because
of what they see online, what they see in the media. So when I came on to say my truth,
nah, nah, your truth is contrary of what's going on out there. So you must be lying
or you must be delusional. Part of the example, let's go ahead and get into one of these comments.
This one person, lady or guy, I don't know, says, I'm a psych nurse of 30 plus years and I'm
genuinely concerned about your sanity. But she didn't only post once, she posted twice. She said,
young lady, if you really believe what you are saying, you are in deep, deep trouble. You sound
like you are in fairy tale land, especially your comment about what is exactly happening
in the world, in the world around you. I wish you the best, but I think you're delusional
as a coping mechanism. Girl, what? A coping mechanism? What? Huh? Hold up. A coping mechanism
because I'm not doing the hysterical crying because I'm not going around
giving up GoFundMes in order for me to get back home. Listen, if y'all want to spend money
on GoFundMes that are not real or people who are trying to scam you guys,
go ahead, do so. If you guys want to believe the hysteria of some people, not saying that people
cannot be scared. Of course, the first time, the first day that this all occurred, of course,
everyone was scared. And of course, tourists are going to be even more scared because it's
not even their country, which makes sense. But being that I live here, I've waited, I think,
a good three days before I even posted my post, my actual reaction and my thought process during
this entire occurrence. I actually had a grip on my emotions. I had a grip on rational thinking
on what is going on. I did extensive research on what exactly is going on. But
you come to me and say you're being delusional because you don't see me being hysterical. You
don't see me hiding underneath my bed, scared, recording. You don't see me crying. You don't
see me acting the way you expected me to act or you don't see me acting the way you see others
act on corporate media. I don't know what to tell you. If you want to see how I responded to this
comment, go ahead and check my video out. I was fighting for my life in those comments because
it wasn't about what's truth or not. It wasn't about Israel versus Iran. It wasn't about which
side is better, which side is right. It was literally me giving my honest experience in the
moment. But yet I got dragged so many times for saying the absolute truth. Someone even told me
to go to Sudan instead of staying in UAE. I'm over here looking like I'm telling you my eyes were
twitching the entire time you're reading these comments because you can definitely tell it was
just a whole bunch of people who've never been outside of their country before or who have but
are very stuck on what the corporate media is giving out or just scrolling on TikTok and
seeing all the fake images or the hysteria. Or it's literally them thinking how war is supposed
to be and putting, projecting that type of fear, that type of ideology, that type of perspective
on me when that was not my reality. So now I feel as though you guys just love being lied to.
That's what I've concluded. Y'all love being lied to. Y'all love being scammed. Y'all love being
hooked with because for someone who comes on the internet very authentic, very me,
and this is why I've gone away from vlogging and doing any POVs because you guys want
entertainment. You guys don't want truth. You guys don't want authenticity. Y'all want entertainment
and guess what? I'm sorry. I'm not a jester. I'm not here to entertain. If I want to give you guys
a glimpse of my life, yes, I'll do so. If I want to show you guys where I've been, where I'm going,
yes, I'll do so. But that constant, like I don't watch vlogs and I don't produce vlogs
and that's because people will come and try to put their perception on where you should go,
how you should dress, how you should talk, how you should conduct yourself,
what you should be doing onto your life. I think that is weird. I honestly don't know
what to tell you guys. The herd mentality is crazy and that's why I feel social media has
definitely amplified the fact that people just hop on any and everything in order to be seen,
in order to hit a leg, in order to get on that algorithm, right? Like my video because I guess
it was so truthful. It didn't have all the fluff that I see some other content creators are doing
where it's like, oh my goodness, like I'm going through the desert trying to get home. You know
that dramatic size experience? Because that's not my experience, of course, my video is not
going to go as far because that's not what y'all want to see. Y'all want to see fakeness. Y'all
want to see a glorified life. Y'all don't want to see the truth. Y'all don't want to see the truth
and that's how we will always be deceived because we naturally are going to go to the
things that are entertaining, right? Girl, what? You ain't stranded. Ain't nobody trying to watch
this. Tell me I'm lying. Tell me I'm lying. Let's get into more comments because the comments were
disturbing. Oh, I did have somebody who tried to recruit me from Dubai to Hawaii. I don't know why.
I don't understand why she would do this because on multiple comments, she was like,
why would you even move to effing Dubai when Hawaii is like right around the corner?
Like I wanted to go to Hawaii. Like I'm not an adult and I didn't know what country I was coming
to. Like I did not know I was coming to UAE and all of a sudden, I happened to be here. Oops.
Make it make sense. If I wanted to be in Hawaii, wouldn't I have booked my ticket to Hawaii instead
of Dubai? I don't know. Apparently, I needed something like this that happened to be like,
oh my goodness, this is not where I wanted to be. I wanted to be in Hawaii, not Dubai. Like what?
Huh? Girl, what? Yo, I don't know. I just come to realize there are so many people who are
uneducated. The masses are very uneducated and of course, that's by design.
And I'm not even talking about Malifa, smart, educated, just like the regular people skills,
you know, which actually makes me think like, yo, what rock did you crawl up from under in order
for you to post this? And how did my video reach that rock? Because like what? Because ain't no way.
Granted, none of these people are my followers, so they don't even know me. They just, I guess,
started following me when I post this video in order for them, well, I post the last video in
order for them to, you know, know what's going on here. But none of these people are my initial
followers. My initial followers are saying, you know, it's good. They're hearing from me,
wishing me the best, they're praying for me, and all of that. Those are my actual followers.
These gremlins, which I don't know what rock, like I said, they came crawling from under,
are the ones who never stepped out of their country before, never was able to mingle with
other people and just learn other cultures, none of that. And they come spearing hateful remarks,
calling me delusional, calling me a fool for just giving my experience, my truth. It's giving,
you know, when, I think it was a study or something like that, when pregnant women,
black pregnant women are in pain, and they're telling their doctor they're in pain.
And the doctor is over here looking like, girl, no, you're not, or it's not that bad,
or you're over-exaggerating, or, you know, that. It's giving that. Because, like I said,
because my reaction and my true experience is not what they thought it would be, granted,
it's not what I thought it would be either, but at the same time, it's the truth.
They disregard my entire experience in telling me I'm crazy, I'm delusional.
I'm insane because I'm not hollering, rolling on the floor, being extra during a time of war,
which this is clearly not the time to be doing any of that stuff, but you know what,
I digress. Because I'm not doing any of that, that mean, girl, you in la-la land. You're naive
because you don't see what's going around you. Even though I've said it and others have said it
numerous times, on social, we, as of right now, have not felt threatened. As a citizen, like,
as residents, or as people who live here, the malls are still working. Everything is still
going as smooth as it can during this time. So, for me to reiterate that,
people are thinking, oh yeah, she must be paid by Dubai. If I am, how much are they paying me?
I want to know. Because I keep on seeing this rhetoric online, oh, they're being paid to say
this, or, oh, they don't want to go to prison, so they're saying this, when it's so quiet,
it's literally, it's like actually uncomfortably quiet for what we're going through right now.
Like, everything is uncomfortably normal. Because we know what it could be. So, even us,
we're extremely surprised on what Iran has done. And actually, I condemn Iran,
condemn, no, I, I said, not commoderate, commend, I commend Iran for the tactic it's doing. Because
they're not here to hurt us. Keep in mind, most of UAE is not American. Y'all don't even like
getting out of your country, to be honest. So, most of the civilization here is not American.
So, for them to come and attack their people, because there are a lot of Iranis, Iranians,
Iranis, in UAE, to attack their own people, other people who are caught in a crossfire, who has
nothing to do with this war, like other countries. For them to blatantly just bomb,
it doesn't make any sense. That's not a good way to do it. Compared to if it was the US, oh yeah,
for sure, I would have been dead and gone. Because US be coming out and blazing and don't even care
who is caught. For example, I paid taxes, but yet, I have yet to get any type of safety,
transportation back to the States. But France came and got their people, as many as they can.
But yet, I'm the delusional one, because I'm telling you, I still feel safe with the plans
that Iran has going on right now. I'm not saying if tomorrow it decides to hit civilians, that's
something totally different. But the fact that they actually have a plan and actually have
some type of humanity, people skills to know hitting civilians is not the way to go. It's
not the way for us to scare our neighbors who are actually hosting US bases. That's not the
way to go. We're going to hit them where it really hurts, which is in their pockets.
So once again, don't come and try to tell me my experience. Don't try to project what you think
I should be acting or feeling like onto me. And then turn around, try to call me stupid,
because at the end of the day, you're the one who's looking stupid. Y'all won't believe this
is day two. Let me go ahead and finish up what I was saying so I can conclude this video.
A person who is able to control their emotions is an extremely dangerous person. That means
that person is not easily tripped over somebody telling them this or somebody saying this about
them or somebody acted this way towards them. A lot of the times, those who are able to control
their emotions and especially in stressful situations like this, it definitely shows you
have way better character, you have way better understanding of what's going on around you.
You're not over over exaggerating when there's no need to be. Having a herd mentality helps
absolutely no one. Creativity and innovation occurs where there's difference, where there's
uniqueness, where there's possibility of something new. If we all do the same thing,
this would be a boring, a very boring world. Some of us, we just like to be different. And it's not
as though, oh, I love to be different because being different is not the easiest thing,
especially when the masses try to hold you down, especially with their fear tactics and
the fear mongering and all of that. Oh, go back home, go back to the States.
Oh, why are you doing this instead? Oh, this is a dangerous risk to take in this investment or
that business to start. It's always some type of fear mongering from people who really would never
want to do anything in the first place, which is so crazy. They're the ones who always want to
act like they're so careful, nothing can happen to them because they stay in their place,
they stay in their lane, they don't take risks, they don't go around other people and
other cultures and other nationalities. They don't travel, they don't do anything,
they just play it safe their entire life. Those are the people who are the ones who
are yelling the loudest for me to, oh my goodness, you're so dumb for doing this.
Yes, so I am done. Thank you guys for hearing me talk while I blow dry my hair.
With that being said, I'll see y'all in the next video.
