[Music] hello and welcome to Homestead Happy Mama in today's video we are going on a homeschool Co-op field trip to landrum's Homestead and Village in Laurel Mississippi it is so cute and so much fun this video was made the week before Thanksgiving so if you're looking for something to do for your family around Christmas time I highly recommend going here to see Christmas lights go to their social media pages and check out their schedule [Music] this [Music] way wow oh my goodness [Music] there [Music] look at the Prairie wagon [Music] good [Music] this is the Mystery House whoever built it they built it with the floor sideways and I gave my phone to my boys and they brought it inside the house I absolutely could not go in so it's going to get a little shaky but I just wanted to show you guys how crazy this is are you okay hey wait can I yeah you can you can take it but just um okay you [Music] [Music] ready just please no [Music] running okay so we're out of the mystery house I struggled to even watch that um I did not go in but all I did was stand outside on the porch and it messed my equilibrium all up so if you have issues with that I do not recommend going in there but if you're just an adrenaline junkie go for it um okay so I'm going to share with y'all a few things there are to do at landrum's this time of the year around November 18th they have a s a sugar can syrup making day which is so fun um here they didn't have all their Christmas decorations up yet but I know it's beautiful when it's all up here you can mine for gold and different jewels and things if you have ever been to Pigeon Forge Tennessee this place reminds me so much of like a little Pigeon Forge if you like history and rustic things gym Mining and all the tools they used back in the old days um just the way of life you would definitely really enjoy this place I find too the people that work here are so kind and I think that's another reason why it reminds me so much of Pigeon Forge everyone is so friendly found anything' [Music] n [Music] a [Music] we got to go on a little trail ride and I really liked it because it was very safe I'm not big on you know hay rides and stuff but this the way they had it set up um it just was closed in and the man driving like he goes over all the safety things and make sure that everyone's sitting down [Music] [Music] and she want oh my goodness what do you [Music] think wow so many that doesn't look very deep at all you can see this one like this big really whoa it's beautiful out here [Music] your [Music] we [Music] yeah you just and then you can go up and down with it up and down oh no is that fun you're going to find all kind ofu a big one all right here we go around in the water turn it can you see me me too okay what you get you have to keep yeah [Music] oh I see a big one in there oh it's so muddy look how pretty don't know what it is but it's cool Mom Mom put it in my purse has your child ever begged to do something and you knew they did not need to do it well we had a situation here my little boy begged to bring his RC car here and I said you're going to have so many things to do you're not going to want to bring it please Mom he cried and cried so guess what mom does brings it and he actually played with it I was surprised like my favorite [Music] one this [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] might [Applause] [Music] n [Music] besides the gemm mining this gift shop is my favorite part of Le drums it is so precious there's tons of things there and they have a lot for the kids but I did not video it um I ended up getting all four of my boys raccoon hats and it's so cute and now they're exhausted and we went home and they crashed the whole ride [Music] home
