Unboxing Helix 5MP and 4K 8-MP Ai Color night Vision Security IP PoE Turret Camera : Good Tech Cheap

I have two security cameras for you that have awesome night vision and they come in two different qualities. So let's look at this product. Back to Good Tech Cheap, I'm today's host Matthew and today we're going to be taking a look at a couple of security cameras from the company Helix. The first we're going to be taking a look at this five megapixel turret camera right here and then I also have the 4k version of it right here and both of these have full color night vision and AI built into them so super cool. But as you know in every episode of Good Tech Cheap we'll do a full unboxing and review so let's get into it. Welcome back to Good Tech Cheap. Today we're going to be taking a look at both of these Helix turret cameras. We got the five megapixel one right here and the 4k one right here. So let's get into it. We're going to start with the five megapixel one first. Right here is the packaging. Looks fantastic. Very high quality. Gives you a lot of information. Now let's open it. First thing you see in the box is this quick start guide. Just going to give you all the information on setting up the app and getting it installed and getting the most out of your product. Then we're going to have part of the mounting screws and everything right here. We're going to have the alignment sticker. So just show your drill guide and then we're going to have the camera itself. This right here looks really nice. It is metal and very very sturdy. Right here on the bottom we have the micro sd slot and the reset. You'll notice this is a little different than the other ones. Well that's because this is part of the bracket that can be slid off and then you can remove the camera itself and mount it. Doing that is fairly simple. It's just this one screw right here that will be removed and the camera can be reduced and lowered and then you can easily mount it wherever you need it mounted. Next up we have the 4k version right here and again packaging looks fantastic on it. Looks super super nice. Let's open it up. Again the first things in the box are going to be the quick start guide and the alignment sticker. Going to have these mounting screws and everything in it and into the camera itself. Again very high quality awesome metal. Very very nice. They look extremely similar if not identical but this is the 4k version. And again right here being able to slide that and pull that down so that you can access the mounting system. And again I just want to iterate how unique this is because a lot of these mounting systems just come with an allen wrench and then you reduce this and you kind of pop it off and slide the whole camera out. So I really love how they kind of simplified it into being able to use this little bracket here and just a normal screw. Remove that screw and then you're good to go. So very very cool. And you'll notice both of them use poe or power over ethernet but you also have the additional power dc right there. So let's go ahead and get these set up and try them out. Today we're going to be taking a look at the helix 4k 8 megapixel and the 5 megapixel security ai ip poe camera. This is going to have human detection full color night vision and some really cool ai. And it's perfect for indoor and outdoor. With the ai features in dual illumination this turret poe ai camera features human detection face and vehicle detection with event filtering. Dual illumination night vision with full night color white led and ir led night vision. It offers 4k at 20 fps video for a super wide 135.2 viewing degree angle. A poe injector or switch is required but not included. It has an enhanced low light image sensor and chipset that allows for up to 98.4 degrees of full night vision in color. This outdoor poe ip turret camera features a heavy duty metal weatherproof ip66 housing and built-in microphone for one-way audio. With h.265 compression it allows for maximum encryption with the latest technology as well as backward compatibility with legacy platforms. Smarter security! You receive motion alert notifications and you get to review the footage using your smartphone with the amlink pro app. Playback and record professionally using the amlink mvr or desktop software such as amlink surveillance pro for windows or mac or blue iris. It also works amlink cloud via the amlink pro app for remote video storage. It supports protocols such as ftp sftp and nas and is compatible with most mainstream web browsers including chrome firefox edge and other popular web browsers. But right now what i want to do is i want to offer you guys a free one month amcrest cloud trial. That's right you get to use that cloud completely free for a month. You're just going to use the code free cloud put that right into the app and you're good to go. And it's so cool because it's secure cloud video backup. The optional helix cloud remote video storage subscription service allows you to automatically store your videos off-site in a third-party location hosted and secured by amazon aws. And that security is simplified. They want to ensure the safety of their customers, their loved ones, homes and businesses. Now keep in mind that there are two different versions of this. There is the five megapixel and eight megapixel with both of these running at 20 fps video with a super wide angle. But i will mention that the five megapixel also has an f-stop of 2.0 aperture. It's going to make your life that much easier. So i gotta say wow helix great job. As you know we've heard the helix in the past and our products are always high quality and fantastic and they always come in at a great price. I love the fact that these turret cameras are so high quality. The housing on it is so amazing. It's metal. It's nice. The fact that it has ai and the full color night vision and you have the option of getting the five megapixel or the 4k. Gotta say great job helix. But i want to give a huge shout out to helix for sponsoring this video. You can find all their links down below. Don't forget I've been today's host Matthew and you've been watching Get Tech Cheap.
