TUOWEE QL3 EDC Flashlight: Laser, UV, RGB and Dial Tested

The car you can even I can even read it's number plate. You can see the road. I hope no one thinks I'm some kind of pervert. There is a bike here. The building next door. Even the trees in front of me see. What's up guys. In this video we are checking out this cool EDC flashlight. And it has bunch of modes RGB and a lot going for it. And I when I looking at their marketing video I really liked it. So I thought I need to check it out. And you have what do you have. Light itself. Full metal. Everything is metal. You have a buckle here. Again metal. Something is here. Then this is probably type A to type C charging cable. There is a lanyard as well here. And that's it. Some documentation. Let's move these things aside. And let's focus on things. Things that matter which is this. The EDC flashlight. It has a solid weight to it. It is strong. OK. The strength. You can drop it and you know that it is still going to work. There is a satisfying gear like mechanism here. This is also a flowing light. When I looked at it I really liked it. You have a magnet here. Let me get something magnetic. So you can attach it to something metal. And work on the stuff. You have the of course buckle to hang it with a belt or something like that. On this side you have another light. This is laser light. Yeah I remember it. This is laser light. It also had a UV light. So I think I am assuming one of these is the UV light. And let's open it up. I think it has some kind of waterproofing. Because only then you use this kind of seal. So this is type C charging. How much battery does this thing has. Let's see if it is mentioned anywhere. So I have laser glass to consumer wavelength. So they have given laser warning. So yeah. And this is the on off button. I would like to tell you what is called. It's called 2OVQL3 multifunctional EDC flashlight. I would like to understand the battery capacity. If it is mentioned somewhere here. But it has a bunch of modes going for it. Almost 10 if I am correct. So you have charging port, true, S2 switch, ambient side light, S1 main light, battery indicator. So these. Where are the battery indicators again. They said here I think there are 4 LEDs which are battery indicators. OK. These 3 all are different lights. Apparently one is white, one is purple and one is yellow. This is side light. Then your main button. Main light button. So this is a button. OK. Flashing OK. This is then S2 switch, charging port cover. Charging port dust cover. So may be not the battery. OK I will look into the battery capacity again. But let's look at the item itself without wasting any time. OK. Let's see. Let me turn off some lights to give you better view. Let's try now. So this one we did see. What does this one do. OK you see the battery indicators here. 1, 2, 3, 4. So battery is full then. And you have the laser light here. See this is the laser light. As you can use it as a pointer. And now we have this light. Let's try changing its modes. Let's double press it. Double press. Does this let's change it. What does this do. Apparently nothing. How does it. OK so you can use this light along with it. Now you have the warm light. Warm and cool light combine. There is quite a bit of light actually. I will do the dark test as well at the end. Let's double tap it. OK. So single tap double tap always does the job. Let me turn off more lights. I think this one is better. So this is UV light. You can see where dust or things like that you have to identify. I don't know. Pet stuff. Where your pet made the most mess you can use it for that. Double tap again. To bring it to. So double tap. Double tap brings in UV. And then single tap just turns it off. That's weird. OK. And what does this do? I am trying to understand. Oh. Yeah. See. It increases the light. Nice. So this dial is actually to increase or decrease the light. Let me show you. See. This is the minimum. Maximum. And it should work on all. So this is cool light. Then we have the warm light. See. That's. This is the maximum. Quite a bit of light by the way. As you can see. So not a tiny light. Another thing that I am trying to understand is how to turn on the side light. Let's try long press. Oh. I mean how many combinations can you make with buttons. So you have long press. Double tap. Single tap. Does this dial work on this light too? Yeah. It does. The same dial works on the side light to increase its brightness or decrease it. Although it's not much of a side light as compared to the flashlight I would say. I mean this is its maximum. I mean. Yeah. You can do some work. But it's not that great. Long press. Now if I press it. This is the side light. What else? I have been able to turn on the side light. I feel like there is another mode to the side light because there is one LED that is still. Oh. There it goes. You go. I was right. So you have this mode as well. Now you have warm and cool all combined. So yellow I would say not warm because this is definitely yellow. So you have. So just like front where you can combine both warm and yellow. Sorry cool and yellow. Here it works as well. So you have cool light. Then you can combine it. Replace it with warm light. Again the dialer works on both flashlight and side light. Then you press again. They get mixed. Now I think the light is better. Then press it again. It goes away. So we have tested two modes of the side light. Front light UV also. The thing that I am trying to understand is there is another mode to this light. I think I am pretty sure it was RGB. So I am trying to see how to figure it. So first one is the laser. So don't look directly into it. This is laser and it has like a certain. The camera is actually not doing good job of it. It looks much better in person than the camera is picking it up to be. Then if you press again. Double tap. Yes. Double tap brings up this. And how do I change it now. As this dialer doesn't seem to be working on it. So what do I do now. I am trying to understand. Because in the video they showed a kind of breathing effect on it. I would like to understand. Find that out. Oh this one. So long press. Like if you want to find out all the combinations. Just try single press, long press, double press. Same for this one. Buttons and you will find all of them. This is the one I was trying to find out. Again I think the camera is not doing a good job of showing it. How good it looks in person. But see. Now that we have done this. Let's do a live demo like in a dark outside area. So that you guys can see it. Like it would look when you are holding it in the dark. So let's go outside. Alright. Let's see. See how it flows. How cool is that. It flows. Long press again. Let's see if it changes its mode. Did it. Double tap. Long tap. Ok. So long tap does this. But single. Oh. Once you come into this mode. It switches to different mode. So single tap changes different mode. What? Apparently it only has two modes. One was the previous one. One is this one. This one is also quite cool actually. And that's it. So we have laser. And then this one. Single tap. Different pattern. Then double tap I think. This blinking mode. And long tap brings up this one. Press again. It becomes yellow. Then it mixes now yellow and cooler both on. You can use this dialer. Increase or decrease the brightness. Turn it off. Single tap. Double tap to switch the mode. Sorry. What am I doing? There you are. Cool one. I still find it confusing to find the right mode. Oh. Let me give you the view that I am seeing. There is quite a bit of light. I mean this tiny little thing. Has quite a bit of light in it honestly. Let me show you. See. Building across. You can easily see it. Even the trees in front of me. See. How long can it go? You can see the road. Right. The car. And let's try it here. Because this is my green belt. OK. So this is single. Blinking. Single. What mode is cool. Cool. Warm. Both. Blinking. Cool. Warm. Both. Blinking. Turns off. Then let's turn on the side one. Long press. Simple. This is the side light. Let's turn. This is the yellow one. Not sure why would you need this one. But OK. Yellow. This is mix. When you do it mix. Then it is a bit better. But I am honestly disappointed by the side light. Then if you double tap. You go into UV mode. This is the UV mode. And then you have. Let's check out the laser. There you have the laser. Let's try it on a front building. Can we. I am not sure if the camera is able to pick it up. I think it is. Let's try it on a tree. There you are. So we have the laser done. Now. Double tap. Where is it? So you have double tap this one. And you have long press this flowing mode light. Single tap. Another mode. What? This one. Yes. I still get confused. And these are all the modes. There are actually so many that they are. Difficult to even track. Well this is your. I think this. This is very good light. It has. Which is solid. I mean what's the most. Promising thing about it. You. If you ask me. I would say it's built solid. It may look like a toy to you. But when I hold it. I can tell you that it is built solid. It is all metal. And I know that it. It is not something that it can easily break. But of course. It's not like I can just. Smash it into a wall. And it will survive. Not that kind of solid. But still solid. You have magnet. You have buckle. And you also have a lanyard. That I did not install it. So let's give them. Credit where it is due. The only disappointing thing was.
