I tried the F8 "Colorful Rhythm" bone conduction Bluetooth speaker, a tiny black disc with a 24-bar RGB light ring. A normal Bluetooth speaker pushes sound through the air. This one is meant to stick to a surface, like a table or a metal sheet, and make that surface the speaker. I unbox it, go through the buttons and the USB-C charging port, cycle through the RGB light patterns, pair it with my phone and test what happens when I hold it in the air versus stick it on different surfaces. Held in my hand it sounds like a small speaker, but on a good surface (steel worked best) the sound changes a lot. There's no volume control on the speaker itself and no Bluetooth version is listed in the box. It's cheap, small and light, and I think it's a good idea.
