The Texans Just Got Their Whole Team Back...
2 Video Views·Oct 9, 2026
The Texans just got some big players back
as new reports are coming out today with multiple
injured players officially returning to practice.
Is this exactly what the Houston Texans need to
finally get back on track and go for that playoff push?
What's up, ladies and gentlemen? Welcome
back to Texans Digest. I'm your host, as always, Isaac Estrada.
Man, we got some big news to cover
today. Multiple players who have been injured
for quite some time are returning to the field.
We're going to dive into all that and more, man,
because I do think that this can genuinely turn
it around for the Houston Texans
because lord knows we've had a rough season so far but man
before we dive into all that about 90% of you guys still not subscribed
so do your boy a favor
hit that subscribe button you're going
to be getting daily updates here on Texans Digest
man let's not waste any more time let's dive right into it
so we got this news today from Aaron
Wilson who was at practice with the Houston Texans today he had
this to say hashtag Texans
Pro Bowl linebacker Azeal Alshire practicing today.
A big return. So we're officially getting
Azeal Alshire back. I don't know if he's going
to play this Sunday, but I am very hopeful that
he will be. From the reports we've been hearing,
obviously we know he had that growing injury in
week three against the Indianapolis Colts sometime around there.
Didn't play last week against the
Dallas Cowboys. Lord knows that we needed him badly.
That Texans defense struggled dramatically
against the Dallas Cowboys.
We really needed him back, but we didn't get him this past Sunday.
We are expected to get him back this Sunday.
He was a full participant today, you can see on the right.
That was the photo taken today with Azeal Alshire
and Danielle Hunter hanging out at practice.
So, some great news.
And I want to dive into it because not only
are we getting Azeal Alshire back,
that 21-day window has officially opened
for multiple other players on the Houston Texans
and we've got some big reports regarding it.
Something else I want to dive into.
Our good friend Tank Dell is officially, officially back on the field.
We got the news today from Jonathan Taylor,
who was practicing a little bit yesterday,
but today is the big news.
Jonathan Alexander, who is also
at the Houston Texans practice, had this to say,
Tank Dell, practicing for the second consecutive day.
So not only are we getting Azeal Alshire back,
we're also going to get Tank Dell back.
I don't know if that means Tank Dell is going to play this Sunday.
I wouldn't absolutely say, hey,
let's rush Tank Dell back, get him on the field as soon
as possible now that that 21-day window's open.
No, no, no.
Slow it down a little bit.
We're playing the Tennessee Titans this Sunday.
I don't think we need a completely rushed Tank Dell back.
I think if he needs the extra practice, let him rest this Sunday.
It's the Tennessee Titans.
I think we'll be all right.
But it is huge to have Tank Dell back.
I want to see him ready by next Sunday, by next week's game.
Rushing him this Sunday, I think would be a little overboard.
But either way, seeing Tank Dell officially back at practice is great.
Something else I want to talk about.
Not only is Tank Dell back.
Not only is Ezekiel Lashire back.
Brayden Smith is back to help that offensive line.
Lord knows we need it.
He hurt himself, hurt his knee around training camp
when we were doing joint practices with the Carolina Panthers.
He hurt his knee.
Haven't seen him at all this season.
Same thing with Caden McDonald.
Caden McDonald, who drafted him in the second round this past draft.
Everyone thought that that was a steal of the draft.
He has yet to play.
The 21-day window has officially been open for him as well.
Some great news all around for the Houston Texans.
So we are getting four, four big names back for the Houston Texans,
and we really need this, man. We absolutely really need this.
So I'm glad to see that multiple
players are getting back on the field,
but we're going to dive into it, man, because this is what
D'Amico Ryans had to say.
He was praising Tank Dell's return to practice.
Tank Dell, reinforcements are
on the way. So let's dive right into it, man.
This is what D'Amico Ryans had to say when talking
about Tank Dell coming back to the field.
It's great having Tank back out there. Good to see
him running around just looking to continue to acclimate to football
and to team drills we're
not putting the timetable on it he looked great out there
so some great news from DeMeco Ryans
I feel like this team man we started off 0-4
to start off the season we're finally starting to
get some good news man and that is just like
finally we're getting some good news we're
playing a team this week that also has been terrible this season
but has genuinely struggled
to score a touchdown it's a divisional game I like
the Houston Texans odds and on top of that
man we're getting some big players back we're
getting some big players back man so I'm just
I'm excited I'm excited to see how this team
is going to perform now that they're healthy
now that we got Nico Collins back now
that we got Ezekiel Alshieh back Tank Dell Braden Smith
Kade McDonald three of those names we don't know
if they're going to play this Sunday
but I don't think we absolutely need them this Sunday
but man just having them return to the
field is going to be great it's going to be great
for this team I fully expected to make a huge
difference throughout the season
and Brevin Jordan had said it man when talking to the media this
past Sunday following the loss
to the Cowboys Brevin Jordan said he said hey man I have full
faith in this team I think we can go from 0-4 to 13-4
and I think we got to have some faith in
our team as well I've talked about it
in the past few videos it seems like a lot of Houston Texans
content creators are giving up on this team
and being like man this team is not it's not it's not
what we thought it was. Man, have a little bit
of faith in these Texans. This isn't the first
time that we started off the first month
of the season on a rough spot. Let's bounce back with
the huge win against the Tennessee Titans.
Let's get the winning momentum back in our veins this
Sunday and build from there, man.
I don't want to see people giving up on this team yet. If I'm not
giving up on this team, I don't want
to see other people giving up on this team, man. The media gave
up on this team. A lot of other teams don't see us as a threat anymore.
I need the fans to get
behind this team and not give up on this team man
but with Ezekiel Alshieh coming back Braden Smith
McDonald's Tank Dell what does a fully healthy Texans roster mean
for the AFC type A if it means
a deep playoff run type B for division title
and nothing more you better not type B type C for too
late the season's already gone you
also better not type C i'm really looking forward to this team
being fully healthy man just from start
to finish we've constantly had before the season even started
man. C.J. Stroud, contract issues.
Season started, defense played terrible against the Buffalo Bills.
Week two and three, the offense really struggled.
Week four against the Dallas Cowboys,
we struggled defensively again.
We haven't had our full team healthy at all this season.
We're going to get all these guys back, man,
and I think it's genuinely going to be big for
the Houston Texans to get these guys back.
We have to put a little faith in this team, man.
We have to put a little faith in this team
and understand that it's still doable. It's still
doable, man. We still got a chance at the dance, man.
So let's not give up on this team. We got
to have faith, man. Got to have a little bit of faith.
But these are the key insights for the
Houston Texans. The run game gives them nothing.
We've talked about that constantly. The Texans
strong suit offensively has to be the passing game.
CJ Stroud has yet to throw an interception
this season. Obviously,
he has been a lot more conservative with that football, but we saw it
against the Dallas Cowboys, man. He can still sling it around.
He still has the rocket. He can still
do what he needs to do.
Texans have 79 rushing yards a game against a league medium of 107
yards. I had said it a few videos ago.
Woody Marks needs to be RB1. David Montgomery needs
to be RB2. I don't want to see David Montgomery getting
the starting snaps anymore. And even
when Woody Marks is RB1, I think we still need to air it out.
Point number two, the
passing game is where this team does its damage.
Texans have a 285 passing yards per game with
CJ Stroud against a league medium of 244.
The Houston Texans, man. That passing game
is what's going to tear these teams up,
so we need to lean on that passing game a lot more.
We got to, man. We haven't been leaning
on the run game a lot, and even when we do,
it breaks down. I think Braden Smith being back
on this team is going to be huge.
I think that is going to genuinely help the team out a lot.
I just don't think it's going to help
the team out for the run game.
I just don't think we go back to give David Montgomery 20 rushing
attempts a game just like we did week one.
I don't think we do that, man. Turn to the passing game.
I don't want to see Nick Cayley calling up screenplays anymore,
man. I want to see us open
up that playbook we clearly have it there
also this is one key point that I love one thing that
the Houston Texans have been great at this year they
do not give the ball away keeping drives
alive the Texans have zero interceptions thrown against
a league medium of three we're seeing
quarterbacks like Drake May quarterbacks like Matthew Stafford
who are considered top quarterbacks
in the league both of those guys have what six interceptions
on the season seven interceptions
on the season CJ Stroud has been great with that football
but I would if throwing an interception
means being able to spin that ball out a little bit more,
I'd be all for it, man. But we got to
see. We got to see, man. We got to see where
these Houston Texans are going to be. But thank you guys
so much for watching. It's some great news to have
these guys back on the field. And I want to know
what you guys think. Does it even matter
to have them back on the field? I don't think it's over
for this team. And from my comment section
in the past few videos, a lot of people are still
thinking, hey, let's not quite give up.
If we lose to the Tennessee Titans, I agree. Then we're
going to start questioning who are we going to fire.
But until then, man, let's get behind these
Houston Texans, and let's hope that it's going to be better.
Thank you guys so much for watching
today on Texans Digest. Have a great day.
Have a blessed day. I'll see you guys tomorrow.
