This Is Houston's LAST Chance...
Oct 18, 2026
This might be the Houston Texans' last chance as they head
into a huge Week 6 matchup against the division rivals.
How can Houston sneak out of London with the win?
What's up, ladies and gentlemen? Welcome back to Texans Digest.
I'm your host, as always, Isaac Estrada.
Man, we got a lot we need to talk about today.
We're going to talk about the players
who will not play this Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars
as the game is just less than 24 hours away,
along with all you need to know right before the game.
But before we dive into all of that, man,
about 90% of you guys still not subscribed.
We just hit 3,000 subscribers, and I am forever grateful for you guys.
But if you're not already subscribed, please do me a favor and do that.
But regardless, I appreciate you guys for tuning into the video.
So I know what a lot of us are thinking.
This might be make or break for the Houston Texans.
Beating Tennessee doesn't hold much weight.
You beat a division rival.
You beat the 4-1 Jacksonville Jaguars
in their home away from home in London.
That is what is huge in order for the Houston Texans
to still make a playoff push.
So, we're going to dive into the three key victory steps
that the Houston Texans need to take,
along with what that injury report is looking like.
So, let's dive right into it, man.
Step number one, defense is the key to success.
The defense has to step up, man.
As self-explanatory as it gets, the defense has to step up.
Last week against the Tennessee Titans,
defense did a phenomenal job, man.
They were swarming Cam Ward behind the line.
Will Anderson Jr., man, how do you do?
Three sacks in last week's game.
He had himself a phenomenal performance against
the division rivals of the Tennessee Titans.
We need another big game from that defense, man.
I'm talking about Reed Blankenship playing phenomenal kind
of game we need out of this
defense.
We had talked about it earlier, man.
We had talked about it earlier this week.
We got the news.
Anton Harrison is not going to be playing.
Anton Harrison for the Jacksonville Jaguars is out.
He is not going to be playing this week.
That helps this defense out a lot.
Obviously, you hate to see anybody go down,
even if it's against a divisional rival.
but I think that this is the opportunity man it's now
or never when it comes defensively the Houston
Texans have to pounce if you guys have
been keeping up with my videos you would know I am a
divisional one supporter of this defense from start
to finish I made a I made a video that got
that got pretty popular had well over 5,000 views
and it talked a lot about how I still think this
Houston Texans has some juice
and I don't think it's worth giving up on them like a lot of the
media and a lot of our fans have a lot of people fried me
for that right after that I said watch
what they do to these Tennessee Titans.
They put a whooping on them, and I still have faith in this
defense, man. The offensive line is a little bit banged up
for Jacksonville. I think this defense
can capitalize on that. Absolutely.
I think this defense still has a ton of steam. They got to go
out there and prove it, man. It starts with this guy right here.
It starts with Will Anderson Jr.
putting some pressure on that line.
It starts with guys like his best friend, Danielle Hunter,
again, coming on the outside.
Maybe we go more blitz due to the fact that they're down in
offensive lineman obviously we know one of the backups
is going to step in but I think it goes
in a lot deeper than that man obviously Bullock we got
to see him step up as well Derek guys like
Derek Stingley Kamari Lassiter those are guys we need
to lock in we know guys like Washington
will step up for the Jacksonville Jaguars
and absolutely take advantage so this defense needs
to be on point man as simple as it gets
this defense needs to be on point I think DeMeco
Ryan's calling plays defensively worked out
phenomenal last week that was against the
Tennessee Titans it has to work out phenomenally
again against Jacksonville Jaguars and I cannot
stress enough man I can't stress it enough the UK London
this is Jacksonville's home away from home
we might as well call this a semi away game in terms
of like home field advantage for Jacksonville
this is their home away from home Wembley Stadium
London Roger Goodell loves sending Jacksonville
to London they love sending them over there
Jacksonville's already been over there for
already a week they already got blood pumping
in their veins that juice in their veins after they
beat the Philadelphia Eagles last Sunday.
I talked about it in my last video yesterday. I think they
already have their favorite coffee spots to go drink at,
their favorite places to go eat, because
they're always in London. They've already been there
for well over a week. They're going to have
the advantage. They're going to have the advantage
of already adjusting to the time, already doing
all that. I've been to London before.
I went for a study abroad trip with my college. It takes about
three or four days to get adjusted to that time change.
At least for me, it did. They've already
been there for well over a week.
They already got a win in their veins in London. Houston can't say
the same man is going to take this defense
to swarm them D'Amico Ryans needs to step up
defensively play calling man we're going to dive right
into the next reason right into the next
key to victory so offensive line needs to stand tall
the offensive line has struggled this season
man let's talk about it let's talk about it man
so the offensive line has struggled this season
obviously we talk a lot about Cole Popovich
offensive line coordinator run game coordinator
that offensive line struggled obviously we got
good news man we got good news let's take a look
at the injury report really quickly Braden Smith
we know he's coming back we know Braden Smith is
coming back we know he's 100% he is ready
to go obviously we still got a few question
marks on that list as well but I think it's going
to be okay man I think this offensive line really
needs to step up we really got to see Cole Popovich
as an offensive line coordinator step up
Braden Smith in he's coming back Braden Smith
is coming back we're starting to see guys finally
start taking form in that offensive line I think
that offensive line played better than usual last
week again it's the Tennessee Titans
but when you got guys like Jeffrey Simmons on that defense you
always got to look out for it i think the Tennessee Titans
are not the Tennessee Titans Houston Texans
held up well last week in terms of the offensive line you got
to do it again one week means nothing
if it's against the Tennessee Titans
and next week you fall flat on your face you have to do it again
man cole popovich needs to step up as an offensive line coach
this week we need him man this offensive
line cannot get into that position where you're
letting CJ Stroud constantly maybe they're only
giving up a sack or two. But how many times
is C.J. Stroud getting pressured? How many times is
our star quarterback going to get pressured in a single game?
We need that offensive line to step
up, man. We need that offensive line to step up.
Hang on. I feel like my camera is a little too
high. There we go. Now I look like the six foot two man
that I clearly am. But anyways, man,
let's dive into key three. C.J. Stroud needs another big game.
Man, we keep talking about it.
We keep talking about C.J. Stroud,
how he's been phenomenal this season, right? How he's been
having great success this season. We need to see it again.
We got to see it again. CJ Stroud has
been phenomenal this season. Hasn't thrown any
interceptions. Obviously, people are going to
dog on me and say, hey, what about
those two fumbles against the Buffalo Bills? I get it.
He had a few rough moments in that game.
He played phenomenal in that game outside of those two
fumbles. CJ needs another big game, man.
CJ needs another big game. We need him to step up. CJ,
you want those 60 M's? You want to prove
that you're the franchise quarterback? It doesn't
mean anything. Even if CJ throws for 50 touchdowns
and zero interceptions this year, what does it
mean what is it worth if we miss the playoffs
if it means nothing in terms of the legacy and going
to a Super Bowl if it means nothing in terms
of doing what he said he wanted to do in bringing
Houston a Super Bowl championship we need another big game out
of CJ man we need another big game
out of CJ Stroud I bring up the photo
of Marvin Harrison Jr. I didn't put this as a key on here
but we got this news we talked about it yesterday
Texans wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. obviously
we got this from Aaron Wilson let me stop myself we got
this from Aaron Wilson Aaron Wilson reports
on the Houston Texans daily one of the most
credible sources when it comes to the Houston
Texans outside of maybe Jonathan Alexander Aaron Wilson
is our guy when it comes to the Houston
Texans Texans wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. second practice
with the team plan versus Jaguars
is to play him be involved not a full workload
though after the trade with the Cardinals i was
talking about a man and i saw your guys's comments i saw
your guys's comments last week we don't need
Marvin Harrison Jr. to be fully healthy it takes more than
a week for him to get used to this
playbook. I understand what you guys are saying.
What I am saying is the fact that, man, Tank Dell
isn't going to play. We know Tank Dell is not going to play.
Obviously, we look at the injury
report. He's out. Tank Dell is not playing.
He's probably going to come back either next week,
and if he doesn't come back next week,
we'll have to wait till after the bye,
but Tank Dell's not going to play.
Tank Dell is not going to play. Keishawn Booty is not the most
reliable receiver on this team. Reliable receiver.
So, Keishawn Booty isn't as reliable as we'd like
to see. Tank Dell is not playing.
Obviously, I know he can't play all 80 snaps offensively.
I think Marvin Harrison Jr. needs to step up immediately.
We cannot see the Cardinals Marvin Harrison Jr.
and everyone's been talking about how he looks
so much more energized and pumped to be
on the Houston Texans.
I get that.
We need a big game out of him, man.
We need to see him step up.
We need to see him in that CJ Stroud connection now or never.
We can't wait till after the bye week till week 9
or 10 when they got a little bit of
momentum.
We can't wait because we had such an abysmal start to the season.
We had such an abysmal start to the season.
We got to see this offense step up.
I hate to say it man I hate to say it
but I'm gonna put my bat and all my marbles in the Nick
Kaylee bag because I have no other option
because I have no other option and we have no other options
man Nick Kaylee he did a great job last week
of opening up that offensive playbook and letting
CJ Stroud be himself we saw CJ Stroud get
a rushing touchdown for crying out loud the offensive
playbook was open for him Nick Kaylee has
to do it again you cannot play conservatively and just
hope the defense stands tall
because unfortunately as much as I love this defense as much as I am a
divisional one supporter of this defense they've fallen flat
a handful of times second half against
the Dallas Cowboys they fell flat second half
and honestly the full game against the Buffalo
Bills they fell flat you saw it in the second half against
the Bengals after the offense couldn't
stop couldn't get a gust of wind going offensively
offensive line couldn't stop a gust of wind the
defense begins to falter we started seeing
those Ja'Marr Chase touchdowns start sagging up I fear
that that might be what happens again
if that coaching staff does not step up DeMeco Ryans
is calling plays defensively.
Nick Cayley opened up that playbook offensively for CJ Stroud last
week. That offensive line, Co Popovich offensive line looked decent.
That's all I'm going to say
is they look decent. We need Woody Marks to have a big game as well.
It takes every single guy on
that field, man. We're going to go in depth a little bit.
We got a little bit of time left.
We're going to go in depth on this injury report
for the Houston Texans. Tank Dell is out. You
obviously knew Jalen Petrie was going to be out as well.
Obviously dealing with that shoulder injury,
Again, I'm going to emphasize, I'm just glad he doesn't have
to have season-ending shoulder injury.
Dameon Pierce, still questionable.
David Montgomery is out.
And Nico Collins is questionable.
I don't think he's going to play.
I doubt he's going to play.
I think by the time I'm recording this,
we should hear soon that Nico Collins is not going to play.
If he plays, man, I'm not going to shave my head.
I'm not going to say that.
You guys are going to hold me to that.
I'm not going to say I'm going to shave my head.
But that would be insane if Nico Collins was to play.
But either way, man, this is it for the Houston Texans.
If they go 1-5, saying you're going to need
a Hail Mary would be an understatement.
So they have to step up immediately.
This has to be the game for the Houston Texans.
If you go 1-5, it's going to be rough, man.
There's still a road back to victory,
but it's going to be rough to come back from a 1-5 start.
I'll end the video on this.
I'll end the video on this.
Can Houston pull off the upset in Wembley Stadium?
Let me know what you guys think.
Yes, no, or maybe.
And if you say maybe, tell me why in the comments.
Tell me why you think maybe this could happen.
I'm a full believer in these Houston Texans, man.
And the reason why I'm a full believer is because I have to be.
Because I don't want to be stuck
in the sorrow of, oh man, we're 1-4 too bad.
I'm going to ride or die with these Houston Texans, man.
You guys can see me in the comment section
of almost every single video.
Every single time somebody in the comments is saying,
hey, I'm supporting these Houston Texans.
I am right there with you and we should be right behind our guys.
But thank you guys so much for watching today on Texans Digest.
less than 24 hours away from what the
biggest game of the season is for the Houston Texans
so far. Have a great day. Have a blessed
day. See you guys tomorrow after
the game.
