We all have dreams and aspirations, but when it comes to Mateo, it's clear that he holds his dad
in the highest regard, and is determined to emulate his success on the pitch. It's clear
that he has big shoes to fill, but just like many sons, he aspires to reach the pinnacle
of the world football scene and make his father proud. With his father's genes and his love for
the sport, the future looks bright for Mateo. But will he follow in his father's footsteps
and become a football superstar, or will he blaze his own path? Get ready to find out in this
exciting journey of Mateo Messi's future in football. Before we go on, there may be some of
you who may not be aware of who Lionel Messi is. Lionel Messi is considered by many to be one of
the greatest football players of all time. No, no, no, no, no, no, no. Really? No. He is THE
greatest player of all time for our generation. Just get ready to argue with your grandkids about
how he was the greatest there ever was. He's currently playing for Ligue 1 powerhouse PSG,
but he made his name at one of the best club sides the world has ever seen, Barcelona. Messi
has racked up an incredible number of goals, assists, trophies and personal plaudits during
his time with Barcelona. To list his most astonishing statistics, he has nearly 800
career goals, 41 trophies and an unmatched 7 Ballon d'Ors and probably another one in waiting.
If that's not enough, Messi recently took the world by storm and led the Argentine national
team to victory in the Qatar FIFA World Cup. That's right, he accomplished what Diego Maradona
did in 1986 and dominated the tournament for Argentina. With 7 goals under his belt,
Messi proved that he's not just a star on the field, but a true leader as well.
But it wasn't all smooth sailing for Messi and his team. After a shocking 2-1 loss to
Saudi Arabia in the group stage, things looked bleak. But Messi didn't back down. He embraced
the responsibility of leading his team and pulled them out of those dark moments.
While Maradona was known as a god and Pelé as a king, Messi takes us to another level
of football greatness. He's not just a player, he's a phenomenon.
Some say he's not from this world, that he's playing a different game from everyone else.
Simply put, Lionel Messi is an alien of the football world, a true master of the game.
For us, for our generation, we can easily and forcibly argue he is the best who ever existed.
But we're not here today to talk about Lionel Messi, but his son,
Mateo, who is ready to follow in his dad's footsteps.
Introducing Mateo Messi Rocuzzo, the middle son of the GOAT himself, Lionel Messi,
and the stunning model Antonello Rocuzzo. He's the brother of Thiago,
who we've already featured in a video, and the younger brother of Kiro Messi Rocuzzo.
This young phenom is already turning heads with his potential golden right foot.
Born on September 11th, 2015, he has already captured the hearts of fans worldwide with
his adorable antics and strong bond with his father. He may be young, but don't let that
fool you, this kid has got skills greater than his age. Just watch as Mateo takes center stage
during the recent Qatar World Cup celebrations, where Argentina emerged victorious. With the
football at his feet, Mateo showcases his incredible talent, proving that he's got
what it takes to be the next big thing in the world of football. With a swift move,
he dribbles past Bauti Gomez, the son of the legendary Pablo Gomez, and shows us that he's
got the skills in his genes. The shades of Lionel Messi are definitely shining through
in this incredible display of footwork. This bit of magic would have had Real Madrid fans
trembling at the sight of a meandering Messi once more, and the only one who could stop Messi
was… another Messi. Thiago stopped Mateo with a good steal of the ball,
while he was enjoying himself with the rest of the children of the Albi Celeste stars.
According to Messi, Mateo is the kid who always tries to grab your attention.
Mateo is very special, he's always doing new things, things that grab your attention,
Messi said of Mateo in an interview. Messi also revealed to Argentine journalist Sebastian
Vignolo that Mateo took after his own competitiveness. In his words,
Mateo is the same as me when I was little, he doesn't like to lose anything.
The competitive nature was seen when Argentina lost to Saudi Arabia at the World Cup,
as Mateo left the stadium crying inconsolably, despite Thiago doing the math and explaining
to him that they would qualify by winning the remaining games in the group stages.
And even though Mateo likes to win, Messi doesn't let victory come easy to his sons
whenever they're playing soccer together. In fact, his wife had to request him to
let the kids win in a hilarious video she posted on Instagram.
Antonella Rocuzzo has also had to comment on Mateo's personality, as we saw in her
sweet tribute on Instagram on his 7th birthday, where she described him as the jokester of the
family. The caption read, Crazy beautiful, with your batteries and energy recharged,
always making us die of laughter. Mateo, just like his big bro,
joined the prestigious PSG Youth Academy in the under-7 division, with his older brother in the
under-10 division. And many believe that Mateo is the one who has a more natural talent for the game,
with the right training and determination he could even surpass his older brother Thiago
in terms of technique. Mateo is two years younger than his brother, but seems to have
similar taste as his brother did at that age. Of course, Thiago and Mateo still have a long
way to go before they reach that level, but with the right guidance and support,
they have the potential to become football stars in their own right.
In an interview, their father Leo said, Mateo does play a bit of football. He has better
coordination than Thiago. He hits the ball well. And Mateo seems to be rising almost as quickly
as his older brother Thiago. Like father, like son.
It's clear that Mateo has always been watching his dad closely. He celebrates just like him,
kissing both hands and raising them to the air. And then he puts his finger to his lips
in a silencing motion, reminding us to keep the celebration quiet.
Lionel Messi had a special group of fans cheering him on during the World Cup.
His three sons, Mateo, Thiago and Kiro were his biggest supporters. And after an incredible
performance, Messi was able to share a touching moment with two of his kids.
The two boys hugged their father while wearing jerseys with Messi's name and number 10 on the
back. It was a heartwarming sight to see the love between a father and his supportive sons.
What next for Mateo? Lionel Messi has shown time and time again that hard work and dedication can
pay off in the world of football. And if Mateo chooses to pursue a career in the sport,
there is no doubt that he will have the support and resources he needs to succeed.
Of course, it is important to remember the child's future is not solely determined by
their family background and relationships. Mateo will need to develop his own passion and skills.
And ultimately, it will be up to him to make the most of his opportunities and follow his dreams.
I'm a huge fan of Lionel Messi and I can't wait to see his sons take the world football stage.
I have a feeling that Mateo is going to be just as good, if not better.
Let me know your thoughts if you agree with me on this.
It'll be really interesting to see how Mateo's career develops, but one thing is for sure.
He's got some big goals to aim for and a great role model to look up to.
But will he follow in his father's footsteps and become a professional football player?
Only time will tell. For us, we just have to wait as we follow his progress.
