LeBron James, the one and only, the king. The king from Cleveland.
LeBron James is considered one of the greatest basketball players of all time.
Well, it seems like the apple doesn't fall far from the tree because his sons also inherited
his basketball genes. LeBron James' eldest son, Bronny James, is probably the country's
most famous high school basketball player right now. But guess what? There's another
James in the family who's going to be giving him a run for his money real soon. That's right,
I'm talking about Bryce James, Bronny's younger brother. You might recognize the name James
because of his dad, but don't be fooled. Bryce is slowly carving out a name for himself in the
basketball world. He might not be as famous as his older brother, who I'm sure most of you know,
but he's definitely someone to watch out for in the future. Born in 2007 in Cleveland, Ohio,
Bryce Maximus James is the second-born child of LeBron James and Savannah James.
He attended Old Trail School in Bath Township, Summit County in Ohio. He also played for a
But things started to really get interesting on May 29, 2019, when Bryce and Bronny transferred
to Sierra Canyon School, a private K-12 school in Chatsworth, Los Angeles. Sierra Canyon is no
ordinary high school. It's a basketball powerhouse that has produced some of the NBA stars in the
league. Bryce also plays for the Strive for Greatness basketball team. Bronny and Bryce
have been playing for the Sierra Canyon Trailblazers, the Sierra Canyon basketball team,
and have been making some serious moves on the court. Bryce has got some serious skills,
and he's proving that he's a force on the court. Of course, we all know that LeBron is a basketball
legend, so it's no surprise that his sons have inherited some of his talent. Bryce is lucky to
have a father who's a basketball superstar. He often takes his sons to his games, and they get
to shoot around with him in the L.A. Lakers training facility. His two sons were in attendance
in his record-breaking performance to support him. LeBron is now the NBA leading scorer,
after he surpassed Kareem recently. Last year, Bryce hit a major growth spurt,
and now he's standing at an impressive 6'6". That's right, 6'6". He's even taller than his
own brother, who is currently standing at 6'3", and he's almost as tall as his dad.
So you can only imagine how much of a force he will be on the court. LeBron recently took
to social media to share a video of his 15-year-old son, showing off some insane hops.
But this isn't the first time LeBron has boasted about his son's basketball abilities. Back in
2018, when Bryce was just 11, LeBron declared that his young son was the best shooter in the
household, for sure. And if Bryce has kept up that shooting touch while also maintaining his
impressive size and athleticism, he could definitely become a serious recruit in the future.
Now, we all know that scholarships are typically awarded to students who have shown remarkable
achievements or have demonstrated their abilities in a particular field. But Bryce has already been
offered a college basketball scholarship even before he has had a chance to fully showcase
his talents. He received his first NCAA Division I college basketball scholarship from Duquesne
University. He has already caught the attention of this prestigious university and wants to invest
in his future. I know some of you may think that it's a bit strange to offer a scholarship to a
but let me tell you, Bryce is not your average player. He has already displayed exceptional
skills on the court and his talents have not gone unnoticed. The James family has a strong
connection with the Duquesne program thanks to their head coach, Keith Dambro. Coach Dambro
actually coached LeBron James during his first two years at St. Vincent St. Mary High School,
where they won two consecutive state championships. But the big question is,
will that connection be strong enough to sway Bryce James to choose Duquesne?
It's hard to say at this point. I mean, the kid's got some serious talent and I'm sure he'll have
plenty of offers coming his way in the future. NIL Clutch Sports
Apart from his D1 college offer, Bryce became the newest addition to Clutch Sports. The 15-year-old
recently signed an NIL contract with the agency founded by his father's long friend and agent,
Rich Paul. For those of you who don't know, NIL stands for name, image, and likeness and it's a
pretty big deal in the world of sports. Basically, it means that Bryce can now start making money
off his brand. You know, endorsements, sponsorships, all that good stuff. Clutch Sports are going to be
handling all of Bryce's negotiations with various companies, making sure that he gets the best deals
possible. And considering the fact that Clutch Sports is one of the biggest agencies out there,
Bryce is definitely in good hands. But here's the thing, Bryce is still in high school. Him
making moves like this is impressive, if you ask me.
Bronny and Bryce We cannot mention
Bryce without mentioning his older brother, Bronny. As you know, Bryce is expected to be
part of the 2025 recruiting class, but some basketball analysts believe that Bryce might
actually be more talented than Bronny. Bronny is ranked as the No. 33 overall player and a
four-star prospect in the 2023 recruiting class, according to 24-7 Sports Composite rankings.
That's pretty impressive. But what about Bryce? Well, we don't have any official rankings on him
just yet. Bronny has already received college offers from some of the top schools in the country,
but he has recently narrowed his list to three, Ohio State, USC, and Oregon. It's clear that he's
on his way to a bright future in basketball. Will LeBron manage to play with his two sons?
I mean, LeBron is already a four-time NBA champion, and he's accomplished almost everything
there is to accomplish in the game. But playing with his sons on the same court is something
that's truly special to him. LeBron has been vocal about wanting to play in the NBA alongside
his son. Imagine that, a father-son duo playing professional basketball together. That would be
insane. And while most of the attention has been on his son Bronny, it turns out that LeBron has
actually entertained the idea of playing with both of his sons in the NBA. Now, Bryce's college
career is still a few years away, so it's hard to predict where he'll end up beyond that. But
it's clear that LeBron has big plans for his family and the NBA. LeBron told Sports Illustrated in
August, I like to throw things out in the airwaves, but I'm not one to say what's going to happen in
the next two to three years. I am a visionary, but I'm also a guy that lives in the moment.
I'd definitely be looking at who got first round picks in 2024, 2025, things of that nature,
2026, 27. I pay attention to stuff like that. When asked specifically about playing with Bryce
in the pros, LeBron said, I feel like I could play for quite a while, so it's all up to my body,
but more importantly, my mind. If my mind can stay sharp and fresh and motivated,
then the sky's not even the limit for me. I can go beyond that, but we shall see.
Now, we all know that LeBron isn't getting any younger, and he's well aware of that too.
But recently, he's expressed his commitment to waiting for Bronny to make it to the NBA
so they can make history together. But he couldn't do the same for Bryce.
It's tough, but that's the reality of the game. During the NBA All-Star weekend,
he was asked a pretty intriguing question that's been on everyone's mind. Would he stick around in
the NBA long enough to play with both of his sons? James said, I know I'm on the side of the hill.
That's for sure. The earliest Bryce would be eligible for the NBA draft would be 2026,
but hold up, there's a catch. By the time Bryce becomes eligible for the draft,
his dad will be 42 years old. That's pretty old in NBA terms. But don't get me wrong,
LeBron is one of the greatest players of all time, and he's still killing it on the court.
But let's be real, three years from now is a long time, and a lot can happen. Sure,
it's possible that LeBron will still be in top shape and be able to compete at a high level,
but there are no guarantees. He might decide to retire before then, or could suffer an injury
that forces him to hang up his sneakers earlier than he planned. If LeBron manages to share the
NBA court together with his two sons, that is a legacy. If not, then I don't know. So keep your
eyes peeled for the James' sons, because they're about to make some serious moves in the NBA scene
very soon. With Bryce's talent and family lineage, there's no doubt that he's going
to make it to the NBA. Thanks for watching, and until next time, take care.
