What's up, guys? Welcome back.
Today I'm super excited because we will make our list of the best beauty products of 2024.
My favorite beauty products of the year.
I always love to make a summary at the end of the year.
You may not see it until the beginning of 2025.
So, if it's already 2025, happy new year.
But let's talk about the best beauty products of the past year.
In my opinion, I basically chose a product in each makeup category.
I just thought, what was the best primer? What was the best foundation?
There are some categories in which I have two products, but there are very few.
I really tried to select and say that this is the best.
So, I wasn't, like, bombing with a thousand favorites.
Do you know what I mean? Because if it's a favorite, it has to be the best.
I really don't make monthly favorites or something like that.
So, I think making this summary at the end of the year is always a lot of fun and exciting.
We have a great mix of pharmacy products and high quality in today's video too.
And all these things are tested and proven, the best in my opinion.
So, without further ado, subscribe to my channel, if you haven't already.

And let's get started.
Okay, first, the primer. It probably won't be a surprise to me, as I've talked about it so many times.
But the Mix The Face Glue Primer is very good.
It came out more or less in the middle of the year, maybe closer to the end of the year than half.
But it stole the scene from me.
I love a good fixing primer, but most fixing primers don't hydrate anything.
And I have dry skin, so I like a moisturizing primer.
And this one literally gives you the best of both worlds because you can spread it.
It's almost like a moisturizer or a cream.
It's not sticky and has a pleasant, moisturizing and refreshing texture for the skin.
But after you spread it on your face, it's when the sticky part starts to activate and gets sticky.
You can see my hand sticking a little to my face and that's what will make the base adhere to the skin.
So, it gives you the best of both worlds, hydration, but also longevity for your makeup.
And that's why we're using a primer to start.
So, I loved it. It's pharmacy.
There's no way to beat it.
Okay, for the base, this one was a little difficult.
I tested several great bases this year.
But honestly, my favorite was the new Urban Urban Decay Face Bond base.
This one was released this year and, on paper, it looks like a base that I hate because I have dry skin.
It is supposedly super matte, long-lasting, which means that even those with dry skin will like it.
But it is supposedly very matte, with very high coverage, no shine, brightness, hydration, none of that.
And, honestly, since I tried it, I was like, wow, it's so good.
Normally, I use a cool medium light tone, but I also bought a medium light gold.
I think the cool medium light is probably still my best tone.
But the coverage that this base offers is very good.
It reminds me a lot.
A long time ago, Urban Decay had a base that I think was called All Nighter, which also had a very high coverage.
This is basically a better version of it.
I kind of put it on my face and then use a large brush to polish just to blend.
But it gives an impeccable coverage without sticking to the skin, but leaves the skin perfect.
And it lasts literally all the time.
Like, you apply it in the morning and it stays beautiful at night and it's just beautiful.
So, if something appears, I would say that even if you think you won't like something, try it, you know?
Because it can surprise you.
Because, again, I tried thinking I wouldn't like it and here we are.
All right, as a concealer, what I used the most by far was Hourglass Vanish.
I have to scrape the sides to get anything off.
I'm using the perolada shadow.
But I love the coverage it gives, it's great, but it doesn't dry out the skin, which I really like.
Especially if you have drier eyes, you'll love this one.
Honestly, Hourglass products are very good.
They have a discount price, but I think it's worth every penny and it's really a fabulous product that I use year after year.
I think it was probably among my favorites last year and maybe even late last year too.
It's been a while since it was released.
It's not like it's a new product, but it really was one of my favorite concealers this year and definitely the one I used the most.
The most.
Right, for contour, this was one of my favorites last year, I'm sure, and it's still my favorite this year.
This is Colourpop's Bronze Stick.
The tone I'm using is Moonstone Beach.
Honestly, it's very good and costs like $10.
You know, as always, if you buy on Colourpop's website, you can use the code KELLY, which will give you a 10% discount.
I think they have this one on Target and Ulta too.
It's creamy, pigmented and spreads super well.
I haven't found anything better than that yet.
If you like Hair Beauty's Bronze Stick, I particularly love it.
It's a great product, but this one is very, very similar and has a cheaper price.
So, for sure, take a look if you haven't done that yet.
I loved it.
Okay, now that we've mixed everything up, it's time for the blush.
I had several different blushes that I tried and that I loved this year.
But one that I really, really loved is this Pop blush from Dassy.
It was between this one and Charlotte Tilbury's Pinkgasm.
This is another blush that I love.
It's beautiful.
But this Sidhu blush is very, very beautiful and specifically this Pop color.
It's like a coral, which I really liked a lot this year.
And it's simply stunning.
It's also very beautiful on bare skin, because it leaves a little shine.
That's why it's called Blush Your Vial.
And you'll see that when it fades, it's not super pigmented.
I feel that in 2025 we'll see more creamy blushes that are a little more natural.
I love pigmented products, don't get me wrong.
But if I have to mix and mix and mix for a million years,
I prefer to use something less pigmented, you know?
And for me, this is the perfect amount of pigment.
It gives a nice touch to the cheeks, but I really don't need to mix a lot
and it gives a beautiful blush on the cheeks.
So, I absolutely love it.
And as I said, it gives a little shine to the skin, which you can, of course,
fix with a powder blush.
Or if you want that glow, you can leave it like that and your cheeks get that extra glow
and stand out.
As I said, it also looks very beautiful only on the skin, especially in the summer.
So beautiful and cute.
So, I loved it.
Okay, now it's the powder.
Again, it's probably no surprise if you watched some of my videos this year,
but this Laura Mercier pink powder.
This is the translucent version of loose powder fixer in pink.
It's beautiful.
It's basically like Laura Mercier's original translucent loose powder,
which has been around for a long time.
One of my favorites.
But it adds shine because it has that slightly pinkish tone.
So, under the eyes, it looks impeccable and fabulous.
And it also spreads very well, which I like.
Not only does it fix the concealer and give that shine,
but it also covers the area under the eyes very well.
And I can see a big difference when I use this product compared to when I don't use it.
And it makes my eyes look much better, in my opinion.
So, I love it.
Okay, next, for the eyebrows,
let's use the L'Oreal Brow Stylist eyebrow pencil.
I still love this one.
It's been among my favorites for years and I still love it.
So, I can still confirm my favorite.
I'm going to use it to underline the eyebrow and give a good base.
But the two stars of the show are the L'Oreal Brow Limation Brow Gel.
I really love this product.
It's a 10.
It was released at the end of the year and is by far my favorite.
Probably my favorite eyebrow gel I've ever tried.
It's very, very good.
The small applicator really penetrates and covers each eyebrow
and fixes everything in place without making them rough or looking artificial.
I love it.
Another product that is probably no surprise to those who have seen me
is the Tarte Eyebrow Pencil.
Literally, no one talks about it and it's very hard to find and it's on sale everywhere.
So, I'm reading that it's written on the wall that it will probably be discontinued.
Although I really hope not.
Because it's my favorite eyebrow pencil.
I just use it and make small strokes on the eyebrows.
And I absolutely love it and I really hope they keep this product
because it's very good and by far one of my favorites.
Okay, now 2024 certainly wasn't the year of the shadow for me.
I definitely used less shadow this year than any other previous year.
In part, maybe because I became a mother and also because at the end of my pregnancy
I was kind of tired.
Okay, I didn't have time for the shadow because I definitely feel
that's what takes the most time in my routine.
But when I was using the shadow,
this was definitely the palette that I used the most.
The Makeup by Mario Master Mattes, the neutrals.
I also love the original that he released.
I also used this one a lot, which is more for warm tones.
But he released this one in colder tones this year.
And I really love this palette and I used it when I was, like, going out at night
or when I really wanted to put on makeup and apply a little shadow.
And I will say that I really feel that I am slowly using shadow and these things again.
On Christmas Eve, I did my Christmas Eve era.
It was sometime during, I think, Christmas Eve.
I can't remember exactly, but I used shadow.
Like, like, a complete look in the eyes and I thought, wow,
this really looks really cool, you know?
And it was a lot of fun to do.
So I feel like I'm going to do it again in 2025.
Like, not necessarily doing a crazy concave or something like that,
but I never did that to start, you know?
Just putting something on the eyelids to give an extra highlight to the eyes.
Ah, putting on shadow.
I'm really starting to realize that I need to clean these eyebrows.
I feel that, as I usually don't use a darker color, I don't see as many hairs.
Ah, let's stop looking at that.
Okay, moving on.
I'm going to make a brown blushed eye.
I'm going to blend again.
If you have a favorite shadow palette this year, comment below what it was.
I would love to know.
In addition, this year there was a reformulation of Urban Decay's Naked palette.
It was really cool.
I really loved it because it's like an original palette, very nostalgic for me.
So, I loved it.
This was a shadow release that made me very excited this year.
But, yes, if there was a release that really made you excited this year,
tell me here in the comments what it was.
I usually put a lighter color on the eyelid,
but today I'm going to change and I'm going to use a slightly darker color to give that real blended effect.
And then I'm going to put the lighter color in the inner corner just to illuminate and just below the eyebrow.
And then I'm going to blend the lower lash line to blend everything.
Eyeliner.
What I used the most was ColoPop in the color that I think is Honeydude.
But you can see that I used a lot because now everything that is written is about this product.
So, it doesn't say the name of the color, but I'm almost sure it's Honeydude.
This is a creamy eyeliner and it really helps to highlight the eyes without being too flashy.
Like a strong white.
So, I really loved this.
Okay, now the mascara.
Another one that shouldn't be a surprise.
Maybelline.
Oh, my God.
I won't forget the name.
It's not Maybelline.
Milani Anti-Gravity Mascara.
I love this thing.
You know that.
It really is the best.
From a luxury pharmacy.
Whatever.
This mascara simply crushes and always fulfills what it promises.
It gives length and volume without leaving the lashes with a lumpy look.
I'm just saying.
Try it and trust me.
Okay, the next bronzer.
I had to give a honorable mention to two because these were definitely the two I used the most.
We have the NYX Buttermilk Bronzer and the Makeup By Mario.
This is its Soft Sculpt Bronzer.
I use these two in different ways.
The NYX Buttermilk was the one I used the most when I wanted a tan all over my face.
So, when I was tanning and contouring, this was what I chose.
It's a slightly warmer tone.
And when I was just contouring, I got the Makeup By Mario.
Both are matte, but this one has a little bit of luminosity, I think.
While the Makeup By Mario is just matte.
So, for contouring and contouring itself, this is great.
If you want to tan and contour, I really liked this one.
There's no way to go wrong with either of them.
Today, I'm just going to contour.
So, I'm going to use the Makeup By Mario.
But both are fabulous products.
For the blush, I also had two.
And they are so similar in tones.
So you don't need both.
But these were definitely the two I used the most.
We have the Colourpop Papaya, which is a beautiful tone, half peachy pink, half coral.
And we have the Nars Orgasm X, which is basically almost the same tone.
Except that this one has shine.
And this one is matte.
So, depending on whether you like a little shine on your blush or a little matte on your blush, which one would I recommend for you?
Today I'm going to use the Nars one because I feel like I use it a lot on camera.
You've seen me use it.
I feel like I used it less on camera.
But still, it's a fabulous blush.
And if you want shine, I would buy this one because it will give a beautiful coral touch to the cheeks.
But it will also give that shine and luminosity.
And it's so beautiful and it looks like a summer tone.
But I'm going to use it all year.
And I used it all year and I love the prettiest touch.
And to shine, I also add to the powder products I have.
It's where I have the two favorites.
But this has been one of my original favorites for years and years and years.
If you watched me, you already know the Hello Halo blush from Wet n Wild.
You get two highlighters with it.
It literally costs less than $5.
It's $4 and a few exchanges.
So good.
I also loved the highlights from Rare Beauty that were released.
They were released in 2023 or 2024.
I'm not 100% sure, but they're beautiful.
My favorite is in the color Mesmerized.
The shine they give is really on another level.
And they give shine and luminosity without emphasizing the texture.
Because I have a lot of texture on my cheeks, especially on the top.
But they are absolutely dazzling.
I'm going to use a little Wet n Wild on my nose and cupids.
Well, there's really no way to go wrong with either of them.
This one is also much more affordable.
So, for the lips, the lip liner.
Certainly this lip liner from the Hard Candy Insta palette.
You can find it on Walmart.
They literally cost $4.
What I'm using is the Tom Boyfriend.
It has a eyeliner on one side and a small brush on the other.
If you want to blend the eyeliner.
But these are creamy, pigmented and come in several different shades.
I love them and, for the price, there's no way to beat them.
For lipstick, I think this was one of my favorites from last year.
And it's still here this year.
It was between the two Milani lipsticks.
Both are from the pharmacy.
Milani's matte lipsticks.
This year Tom Pleasure.
It was probably my most used lipstick this year.
So, I'm going to stop using it.
But also, honorable mention for LF's satin lipsticks.
Because I really love them too.
But this one combined with Hard Candy's darkest eyeliner.
I think it looks very, very beautiful and I loved it.
So, I used this combination a lot.
And for the blush, this one came out of nowhere for me.
But it's so beautiful and I feel like I haven't heard many people talking about it.
I think Anastasia Beverly Hills is a very sought-after brand.
Like, when they were launched, I feel like they changed the game.
I remember that I didn't even fill my eyebrows until Anastasia Beverly Hills came out.
And when they launched the first products for eyebrows and stuff.
So, I feel like, over the years, I got less and less excited about their products.
But I tried their lip gloss this year.
And this is the shiny Amber lip gloss.
And honestly, this is probably the most beautiful lip gloss I've ever used.
The glitter and the glow it gives to the lips are amazing.
It's so beautiful, but it doesn't leave a sand feeling on the lips.
It's not sticky.
It's very, very good.
I absolutely love this.
And since the first time I tried it, I thought,
My God, like, so good.
And last but not least, the fixer spray.
My OG is still my OG.
Urban Decay's All Nighter.
I love this product.
Fix the makeup.
It won't let you dry, but it really ensures that your makeup lasts.
It's fabulous.
All right, guys.
These were my 2024 beauty favorites.
2024 was, honestly, the best year of my life for me.
Because my son was born this year.
So, it will certainly be a year that I will always remember.
But I'm super excited for 2025.
I wish you all the best and a happy new year.
Thank you so much for watching.
I'll leave the link to all the products I talked about below.
So, there's a complete list here because I know I talk fast.
So, I'll have everything listed here for your reference.
Thank you so much for watching and I'll see you soon in my next video.
Bye.
