SUPREME x Nike Air Max 96 , Unboxing and On Feet Review

Welcome back to Woody's World and again I'm bringing you something different. As people who know me will know that I have a big interest in trainers and I've got a bit of a collection going. And this week, well the end of last week, Supreme and Nike released the Air Max 96 Supreme. My partner Jade managed to grab me a pair as I was at work and she is like the boss of getting things on release. They're a bit questionable. I haven't actually opened the box yet and I'm not sure if I'm actually going to like them or not because of the little plastic windows they've got all the way around the shoe. The first image I saw of the shoe was like a face down view of it and I thought the Supreme logo which turned out to be the insole because I saw it on the phone it was a small picture. I thought that was actually printed on the bottom. I thought that was quite cool. I sent them her and she managed to get them me. But since then I've seen a few videos and bits and bats showing that it's not actually a pattern it's actual plastic. I don't know what material it is but it's see-through. So you've got to have some fresh socks to wear it with. I've got some fresh Nike socks there. So yes you are going to get some on foot opinions from me as well. These are like, these here are the Nike Supreme TNs and I'm so scared of wearing them. I really am so scared of wearing these. But maybe in summer. I bought them to wear so why not. And that's my phone going off so let's put it on silent. Right let's get into it. Move them to the side carefully and let's have a look at these shall we. Oh I'm nervous. I really am nervous to see what they look like. I've seen pictures of them. I've seen some professional on foot pictures of them which are obviously not all that good. But here we are. The Supreme stickers that you get with them are in this box here. Obviously you get your, you get your official Supreme stickers there. The camera's upside down so I don't have a clue what I'm doing but there we go. We've got some Supreme stickers. I've got loads of them. And let's take them out of the box. There he is. They don't actually look too bad to be fair. They don't look, I don't know what they're going to look like on foot. But the quality of them, you can tell a bit, quite a lot of attention to detail has gone in to the making of the shoe. I don't know. Feel good then. Plastic material. Very clean plastic material. Very, very see-through plastic material. How it's going to stay see-through, I do not know. Is it going to go yellowy over time? But the shape of the shoe, the silhouette of the shoe is the 96 with a few obviously Supreme twists. You've got like a Nike Air on the bottom. They do look cool. I just don't know how they're going to look on foot. I'm going to keep them. I'm definitely going to wear them. What do you think? Comment below. Would you wear them or would you not? I will throw some visuals up while I'm talking about it, talking about them so you're going to get some cool visuals while I'm talking. So let's dive into it. Obviously you've got the Supreme on the actual insole, which you can see through it. I might have to try and find some red Supreme socks that actually have the same print on it. So if anyone can link me to somewhere where I can buy some of them, I think that would look pretty cool. If you've got some Supreme socks on them as well. I've only got plain Nike ones on me. So yeah, so we've got, it's an all black shoe with the red embroidery Nike tick. You've got the red Nike tick on the tongue with the Supreme, the Supreme badge a bit further down as well. They feel very, very solid to be fair. They don't feel cat. Obviously it's a Nike trainer. All Nike trainers feel good. We've got like a crocodile skin effect on the back here. I don't know if you'll be able to see it on this, but they do look cool. I reckon I could rock these. Would you wear them or would you prefer the TN or the 96? I'm a fan of TN. The TN is my favourite Nike silhouette and it probably always will be, but I've got a few other pairs. I like the 97s and the 95s. I don't know, do I like the 96? It's questionable. Is it ugly? Do you think they're ugly? I don't know. Right. You know what we need to do now, don't you? We need to try them on the feet. We need to see if they look all right on foot. If they look all right on foot, depending what colour socks you've got, I might try and dig out another pair of socks, but I don't think they've got any plain black ones. They've all got patterns on them. So without further ado, right, the fresh socks are on. It's time to check them out. And here they are. What do you reckon? I don't think they look too bad. I don't think white is the colour to go with with the socks like, but they don't look very bad. I reckon some red socks would look cool in them. I definitely think some red socks would look cool. Even black, if you've got plain black socks, but obviously you don't want no holey socks, because if you've got holes in your socks, you're going to look like a rat's it. But the silhouette of the shoe is nice. I don't know if the plastic's going to stay as clear as that. Obviously they're not trainers you're going to wear every day. I've always gone for the standout shoes, if you look at my other trainer collection, which I will be doing more on in the future, because I like trainers. I like I'm definitely going to keep these. I actually really like the silhouette and they're a bit of a standout trainer, I think. So what's my opinion? Are they a bit out there because of the see-through windows? Yes, I think so. And if you would wear these, what colour socks would you wear? I'm going to have to try and find some Supreme ones like this. I don't know if they do them, but I think they'll look cool. I think red socks is the way to go. I think it'll, because the red looks good through the actual shoe, so no doubt a red would look good as a sock. Right, that's about it.
