Round 3 Highlights | FPO | 2026 DGPT Powerball Cup

It is a cold, rainy Saturday morning at Ivy Hill in Lynchburg, Virginia. But 20 of the world's best disc golfers are looking to heat up because today is moving day at the finale of the 2026 Disc Golf Pro Tour season, the Powerball Cup. Got to keep it light, but got to keep it serious at the same time with Silva. Avelina now on one. It has been a brutal start to the course. It is cold out there. we saw on the fist bumps people are wearing absolute mittens and that is a park job for birdie that is going to be the only birdie of the day and there's only been two pars Katrina Allen rough day yesterday dropped her off the lead card after a hot first round and that's going to be just fine on hole three really rough start for Katrina opened with a seven followed by a four clean just outside the bullseye Katrina up ahead on the fourth it's a pseudo island. You have to cross the hay bales with the Vessi signs. This is the play. Players really trying to sneak it to the right side. There's that little bit of gap. Katrina well executed. To push the tree line that far and then slide through that coin slot. So skilled. You do have a nice little match play that you're able to exercise when you're out there on the course. Well look at this. The hole that has been perplexing a lot of our players opening up today. The best looking shot we've seen. And that's going to give her the tailwind just outside the bullseye. A bit of a slip there. Now Evelina trying to get up and down. Finds the gap. And that's one of those park jobs. Evelina slowly charging up the ladder. It hops the hay bale. She's going to be inside circle one. Doing a great job on the tee. Making sure she was ready. Her hand was warm. But in the end, we decided we were going to showcase Evelina. And Evelina just put on something we could talk about in that championship round. I mean, it was incredible. And speaking of incredible, what a shot shape for Allen. Got it! Great nab right there, taking full advantage of having a safe drive. It really is all you out here at Ivy Hill, with, I'm going to say, with the exception of some of the rollaways that we see, similar to 10 will produce one. Yikes. Catastrophic. You really don't see Owen making that mistake. This is the best scrambler on tour. There is no wind to be worried about whatsoever, So this is just a couple of colossal mistakes that we've seen from Owen. I think back to hole 12 at Throw Pink and her making multiple mistakes and possibly throwing away the event or her good chances of the event. So I'm not sure what's going on, but this is a full-on meltdown. And I just watched as that one, that approach, I mean, she was trying to stay away from the right side OB where she's already thrown a couple times, but then she fluffs it and now still gets it to go out of bounds. I don't know, is she putting for a 7 or an 8 at this point? I believe Owen's putting for a 7. And a layup for par takes a shot on Holland and four shots on Owen Scoggins. And actually, this week, Zenni's offering a special giveaway and an exclusive increased discount for fans. At the Powerball Cup, you can scan that QR code. It's just there to enter and use code DGPT for 10% off your order. And Evelina has gone out of bounds on her tee shot. This is her third. Oh! Almost dunks a birdie. Eve out of bounds again. Let's take a look at this. She did appear to be stepping up to make another putt. Oh, how nice. Like I could. That's pleasant. Wow. Wow. Talked about it earlier, the slippery slope greens. And now she's putting from the OB down there. Silva 25 feet away for birdie. And a 10-shot lead in the field. Okay. And sorry, it is a 9-shot lead. Over Hanley. Saarinen's second. Just like that. Another chance for birdie inside the bullseye. Beautifully dialed in by Silva. There it is. Great save right there for that birdie. Huge drive. Almost squandered the opportunity. Saarinen's second shot down the hill on 10. Pretty much run this. I'd love to watch Evelina throw this shot. Back drop behind. And there's your bullseye birdie right there. Another one. taking another look from the catch cam Evelina our 2026 world champion a multi-sport athlete it very quickly went home afterwards and won a paddle tournament out there in Finland i love it it's it's good diversity i was a division college pitcher but never went to any other sport outside of disc golf but would throw other sports in the mix for extra training kudos for Evelina for being able to just balance it it's got left to right wind you could tell blowing off of Missy's jacket beautiful shot there just outside the bullseye Katrina perfect she's gonna have a tailwind putt just inside the circle Silva what why because she can and then she her she just backed up her interview she goes for everything wow oh good i just have to laugh and yeah how exciting how unnecessary how brilliant you see you see in the back smiling maybe i have no trust in myself Scoggins now for birdie down the hill that's gonna count what a ridiculous putt from Silva oh i'm still smiling about it i was shocked i am impressed she's tired of not being in the winner's circle just putting a hurt right now on Ivy Hill and Henna Blomroos parked for birdie on hole number 11 showing us what Evelina had in her mind's eye right there with that high hyzer good solve with power now solid and trying to get one on the green here this looks good that was just a laser out of her arm and there it is just outside the bullseye chance for the only birdie of the day she does i like the height look at that wind picket and she does that is a two-shot swing the lead is eight holes down the hill on 11 after grabbing two shots back from Silva and there's another chance for a birdie she's gonna be in for birdies in her veins Katrina this is really pretty drive by Katrina Katrina, after a really nice tee shot here on 15. Just fine. This woman right here. A chance to catch Owen. And there's her chance. There it is. Birdie. Just like that. Our lead continually gets cut. This is really Owen's wheelhouse. Rides her sidearm. Be putting for Birdie inside the circle. Ricky, just an unbelievable stretch of golf yesterday trying to catch Gannon Burr. But it is proving to be futile. Again, with eight shots. Silva right there, hitting the 10-10 koozie, waiting for us to get into crunch time. Maybe if we hit it again, we move closer. We activate it. It actually activates it manually. The width here. And that's going to do it off the cage. Great shot right there. Talked about that opportunity. She has to seize each one of these. Put some pressure on Silva. Get up and down. This is wide. Where did it go? Okay. My bad. That's one way to do it. That is going to do it. She's five down. Hot round of the day. Missy grabs one. That is the feeling. Oh, I said it with the world championships and making big putts. Anything you can throw your hands up. So electric. It's been a tough day for Missy. That's why it did feel so good. Like, thank you. I can. Silva. She's going to stick on the green of 17, sneaking through that tree. She's been solid on this tee shot. She has. If it comes down to the homestretch, Silva has an advantage coming into 17. And that's going to do it. Birdie. Moving day officially complete here at the Powerball Cup. One more round to decide it all. And Silva Sarnin, the one to beat. Can she make her season end on a bright note? Thank you for watching Disco Pro Tour on YouTube.
