Well, good afternoon.
Welcome back into the Disc Golf Network.
You are watching round three of the 2026 Ledgestone Open
broadcasting live from Morton, Illinois.
We are just about 15 minutes southeast of Peoria.
It's Northwood Black.
And it's going to be another rainy round, Philo.
Birdies will be a premium this afternoon in these conditions.
Again, a forehand with that DD3 yesterday.
Changing things up.
Backhand with this PD.
No trouble there.
I don't think it'll have the length.
Out of play.
Looks like it's going to...
Circle one, Philo.
Wiggle into circle one.
I was right there with you.
I didn't think it was going to make it.
Sullivan finding a pretty technical shot here.
He's going to try and actually get around the corner with
this driver.
That's what we saw Babcock try to do yesterday.
A couple other guys trying to go sidearm here.
Exaggerated Annie, and it's going to get that quick.
This is high-level stuff.
Wow.
He'll love that when he gets to it.
This is huge from Sullivan.
Breaking the hole apart off the tee.
I think that's why if you have the sidearm here, you should
utilize it.
It really sets you up nicely in the righty backhand.
So difficult to make it stop in time to be squared up.
Look at that approach there from Tipton.
Beautiful play there from Taylor.
Plenty of window to work with there, Perkins, and he dribbles
it right under the basket.
Rigged through a perfect drive and he'll turn that into another
perfect birdie up at the fifth.
Backed up with Anthony Barela.
Finds the birdie on six.
Oh, Luke Taylor from down the hill.
Missed that putt on one and has dropped a couple of really
nice spinners in since.
Big time.
Oh, it's off the tree even.
Love.
Tree love to perfect.
That's now three in a row for Luke Taylor.
Bridge stamps for a birdie putt.
He's dropping to a knee.
Not so awkward anymore.
This is right up his wheel, right in his wheelhouse.
Yeah, as expected.
What a make.
He does it so often.
It's starting to get annoying.
Saw the drive for AB moments ago.
You see the rain starting to come down a bit more consistently
now.
Birdie look for AB.
He's got it.
Wow.
Wonderful focus from AB along the left edge.
Sullivan crouching trying to get the grip.
The lack of a routine has just as large of an impact as actual
rain and that is ideal for Tipton.
You can hardly drop a disc in a better spot than that.
Taylor just far enough to throw a flex forehand.
Burns it over.
And it fights, man.
How about that?
That was a fighter.
Kevin's got to be pretty frustrated with this.
Go in.
Oh got some metal.
Yesterday.
We were talking at length about Gannon season already cashed
for 117,000 with that.
He has made more money this season than all of the other
players have on this card throughout their entire career.
Oh, solely finds the left side.
Big make keeps things tight.
Trying to track down his first birdie.
Oh, yeah, that'll do.
18 feet left for birdie.
Yeah, this is too routine for Gannon bird.
Straight up shot.
Heaves it out on the left side just a little bit.
Oh, well, that ends well.
Friendly bounce there off the stump for birdie.
He'll curl up in the bullseye.
I like to call this one the Tony Hawk.
Just a little nose bump.
Get that letter.
Continue the grind.
Yes, sir.
Grinder slide.
Close shave replay.
Adam from on top of the hill.
What I make from Adam Hammes.
By the way, his putter has not touched the ground today.
Five for five from the circle and that one from 52 feet.
Let's take another look at this.
Straddled out putting around the tree down the hill.
A little anhyzer action dead center make and you'll see
Gavin try and get the elbow really tight to the body and
he's going to try and throw a little bit more of a hyzer
up to flat.
That's what I was lining it up thinking.
Yeah, it seems like the hyzer to flat there.
It is arm tight to the body ensuring he doesn't swing it
out there wide.
Look at this shot from Babcock.
That is pure as it gets.
He also likes to get low on these shots.
So he kind of crouches into that.
Yeah, and he really got his hand into the window.
Same as Babcock and similar reaction.
It might not look like much but that's high-level stuff to
throw a forehand that straight.
It's high level to throw anything straight.
This is a tough get right here.
This course is so technical when he splits them.
Oh, he gets the anti-skip he asked for.
Oh my gosh.
It's a bullseye.
What a hole.
That is crazy.
Solely down the center.
This is belayed Philo.
Get in.
Oh my gosh.
That's the back wall.
I thought it was the assembly.
Sullivan tipped in showing off the backhand skills.
Gentle flip up resisting that turn starts to fade but
skips off the mud and from the tee looked like he dunked it.
It certainly did just need to be a smidge more on the inside
out of flare skipped right in heck of a shot from Sullivan.
Taylor fourth in the tee to green stats looking shape out
the hand and have the length.
That should filter in he's down on a knee.
So the percentages have got to start rising.
How does he do?
Come on guy.
Contain myself a full flight.
This is the same thing.
Mcbeth used to do to guys.
Just when you think you're going to get a stroke on them.
They do this.
This is this is why those guys were number one in the world.
You know what I mean?
They have the ability to do this.
Incredible.
I mean, I'm out of words.
He is changing the sport of disc golf in front of our eyes.
There's another forehand attempt by low.
Let's see it.
Oh, this has got the height and it's going to fade in time
Hammett's working it.
That's going to go deep.
That's wicked.
That's beyond Elite level.
Let's see what the magician from Manaqua can do with this
putt buried a little deep just outside the circle exposed
basket.
It's been breezy and gusty today.
Come on now.
Adam Hammett's tada.
We going immediately wider.
Is he going to try and hit that skinny gap?
I'm not sure this guy could do either.
Looks like he's looking inside.
Oh, my goodness.
This is filthy.
Stay clean.
That is a clean shot of the day.
That's OTB shot of the day for me hands down.
That gap is two feet wide.
Are you kidding me?
Look at this action here.
So the Tipton getting low and then he look at this everything
is right about it.
The weight the stability just to miss all of that on the way
down there get about pin high.
Maybe a little longer but should be inside see one there
for Tipton.
What a play mark it down.
That's one of the best shots ever thrown on hole 9 at North
Wood Black opportunity here for tournament leader Gannon
Burr extend his lead.
Once again, it's breathing room between he and Sullivan
Tipton the identical to yesterday by low.
So pure man.
He's going to get the skip.
There you go.
On the side.
See the exact same spot.
Even a better roll.
Come on everyone.
Again, it's a whiner.
Needs to sit.
That's the place you'd rather miss.
Yeah, miss long.
Death by coming back big time make there for Adam Hammett
at the 13th.
Excuse me, Big Birdie.
Missed this tee shot yesterday needs to get boogie and left.
All right dips into the trees along the right side and that's
about as perfect as it gets one angle right into the face of
the Hill should kill it.
Oh even bounces off the bucket for Burr.
I'd have just been adding insult to injury for these guys
without a skipped in for the Eagle.
Big moment here from Adam Hammett's Dragon towards the bucket.
Yes, sir.
It'd be a circle one.
Look that will most likely ensure he will find him on that
lead card tomorrow afternoon.
Cora Dolan is going to be running out of holes here.
Beth goes underneath the bridge going to take some casual
relief drops it in on the right side back to 10 under for the
tournament tied for six for Macbeth and that is on top of
the 373.
He had yesterday.
We're going to give him the no putts left behind badge effort
this afternoon for Adam Hammett's.
Oh, it will tip over for him.
Just a no shot right there.
Nate par save effective distance over 50 feet will sink it
Sullivan's longest part of the day couldn't have come at a better
moment actually with that birdie from Luke Taylor.
He'll move into a tie with Sullivan.
He's three back of Gannon as well.
Love the height wonderfully thrown there from Luke Taylor slight
correction Luke Taylor tied for the hot round of the day at five
under Sullivan dancing it back into a hyzer and that is just
tasty and I'm going to try and follow Sullivan.
It's identical right in the face of the hill.
It's too close to miss Sullivan Tipton stand this up and push it
straight.
Oh, it's going to fall into the circle Sullivan will have an
opportunity to shoot a four under pilot.
Gannon will have that to shoot a six under that's a great closing
birdie three of his last four for tipping excuse me Sullivan
Tipton to get it into the clubhouse basket looking miniature
to the Iceman down into the cage.
That's a scary thought back to pilot.
He was even going into the back nine shoot seven big on the back
nine alone Northwood got him today.
That's for sure happens to the best of them out there.
All right guys, that's the video.
Thanks for watching as always like and subscribe.
Hope you enjoyed the shots of the day.
