Logitech G920 Racing Setup CIRCUIT AND DRIFT TESTS! Forza 6

All right guys, so here is the new setup for the videos. Now let's go through what we've got here. We've got a Logitech G920 racing wheel for the Xbox One and PC. Three pedals, clutch, brake, and gas. Obviously if you're a real man you use three pedals. Here we have a real American racing racing seat. It's suede. It's really really nice. It's all put together with lots of plywood and wood. Yeah, pretty much whoever owned it last owned a cat because this was covered in hair and the entire thing smells like cat piss. So now my room smells like cat piss which I guess it's worth it but I don't know that was quite a big consequence. None of it is sanded. It's all like really really rough and nothing really lines up and it's all kind of like it's a ---- job but it works. It's sturdy kind of and yeah I mean it's sick. It's really sick. I will very soon be getting a shifter putting it around there. I'm also going to paint the entire thing, sand the entire thing, clean it, make it so it doesn't smell like cat piss but let's get into the video. This is obviously the first time I've tried using this of making a video so tell me. Leave comments about everything, audio quality, the wheel cam if you like it. Let's do this. Getting in is a little bit challenging because this is all like wood and solid so you kind of have to like do that which is fine for now but imagine when I have a shifter there it's gonna be even worse but let's go ahead and get started. Like I said one of the big problems about this setup is that as I'm sitting here all I smell cat piss so there's that and then you know your hands and your butt and your back start smelling like cat piss and I've cleaned this seat like three times with like heavy duty cleaner. It's getting better like I still smell some cat piss but it's cat piss mixed with cleaning detergent so I mean it's better than what it was before but I'm gonna quickly I think build a car because that will make things a little more fun and I want to try building a car without a controller. I mean it sounds like something easy but it's a little weird. I think I'm gonna pick up a MX-5 cup obviously Miata everything which by the way the coilover is so good. I appreciate all the support you guys have shown on that video. It's been a lot and I'm happy with it. I'm so happy with it. As many of you pointed out it will be getting even lower once the coil is set so I might have to raise it up a little but yeah I'll do that later kind of thing so nice. Now upgrades I think I'm just gonna throw on some nice wheels. Race tires yeah that sounds good. Maybe a snail if not already snail yep okay let's put a small little snail on there. Only 200 horsepower. I should have expected that. It is a Miata anyway. Cam, exhaust. I'm not trying to make a fast thing I'm trying to make something that handles well because if you've never raced on a wheel before you suck. You're absolutely trash and I discovered that yesterday when I tried to do drifting it. No it doesn't work very well. All right 300 horsepower it's pretty good. Let's do some weight reduction. Some brakes would be very nice that makes it look a lot better too. Wow we're very high class and I think maybe wider rear wheels 285s and wider front wheels 245s. All right just a nice little autocross car is done with. Maybe a new transmission as well or not new differential. We don't want an open diff. I don't know if that's what's on there but if it is then they don't want that. So yeah car is done. I'm not gonna tune it. I'm not gonna bother with that. I just kind of wanted to build a good low power car. One problem that I think is gonna be occurring is echo. This little corner has lots of echo. The mic is far away from me. It's right here it's not right up to my face like it normally is. Okay so I might get like a stand put the mic here or here or try to put it over me or I don't know but here we are. Let's uh oh that blow off valve though almost sounds as good as my Miata. All right I'm gonna try a burnout. It's not gonna work I can guarantee it. Oh I'd say that's pretty good. The problem is that the brake pedal is really heavy so in order to slam it down you have to really put up all your might. Oh heel toe. There we go. Oh and this car feels good. Oh understeer though. Oh and oversteer. Oh and over. So the problem I was also having is that the force feedback as it is now it's too it's not strong enough um for circuit racing it's not strong enough but for drifting it's too strong so I think I'm gonna have to adjust it um differently for each uh each event right I have to make sure to push the clutch down all the way too but um it's it's good it's um it's really freaking fun it's nice to be able to do these cool toe maneuver or foot maneuvers and you can definitely um improve your racing capability and you might even be able to improve your real life capability oh god so that's that's when things get bad let's try to do a quick lap an actual legit lap I don't know how I'll do but I'm gonna try the best in order to brake uh really quickly you have to really slam it down um but then if you slam it down too hard you lock the brakes so so it's like a it's there's a fine line um I'm sure this probably looks pretty slow to you uh and it is it is pretty slow but it's hard transitioning from a uh a controller to a wheel like you watch slap train and he just just destroys everything he's so good and then you watch me and I'm I'm having trouble controlling a 300 horsepower miata but I can heel toe it's actually funny because I can heel toe in this game but I can't heel toe in real life but maybe maybe it'll help me get there see heel toe oh that was fantastic the nice thing about the wheel is that one you can feel everything that was really bad understeer but two you can just be really really steady and that's the thing about controllers is you're constantly you know adjusting like twitching left and right with your thumb to stay on stay on track because it's pretty much either full steering lock or no steering lock unless if you have control freaks but um this makes it easy to keep it steady and braking much easier to not lock up your tires although I did so all right so that was a decent time I don't know what it was I wasn't looking but I think it was decent um drifting's another story oh yeah I'm doing a burnout and then I can just ease off the brake and do a rolling burnout oh yeah son that feels good that feels real good we're gonna stop we're gonna get in a drift car and we're gonna drift no we're going to try to drift so let's go do that boys gotta have some decent drift car over here this one's pretty good let's try the 240 240 with a team slap uh paint job gotta get a team gingium paint job on that ---- brah here we are oh yeah feels so weird having that come from this car oh son but I can burn tires must destroy all tires oh ---- this is this is gonna be bad um if I get one good drift I'm gonna be happy with myself all right let's attempt one all right I need to be in third gear as well oh yeah it just it corrects so quickly it's hard to move the wheel that quickly it's so and this is not the most stable setup I need to I need to make it a little more stable because it's a little a little wobbly I was almost decent I just need to practice that's what I need to do but um this isn't this is my practice oh that's decent that's decent wow I only got a thousand points that's not decent at all come on it's just it's really hard to move the wheel quick enough to um I think I don't know if it's um just this specific wheel or wheels in general but it's hard it's really freaking hard and the problem is once I start thrashing it around it just shakes the the um the tv so much that it's hard to understand what's going on thousand points I'll take it I'm sure you guys are like cringing so hard right now but um it's hard it's really ******* hard it's a workout I'm getting all right that corner that corner is good um or decent obviously I'm not building my speed up yet but I'd say I'm okay no no no I'm bad I was okay with the controller this is just bad right now nope should not have done the handbrake see like it's so hard to move quickly you know I don't know I'm gonna troll I'm gonna turn the force feedback down to 15 which is like nothing and the vibration down to 60 um that might help like I don't know for the like the thrust masters if you whip them can they spin like see like I don't know if that's supposed to be happening or what but it's a little better oh yeah kind of feels too soft now but I'm not gonna complain oh it's just so much better it's still like hard to correct but um it's so much better oh okay you have to be really damn quick garage drifting oh ---- oh I downshifted see that's the thing like when you're thrashing around moving your things the pedals are way too close you should accidentally oops oops no people who have the wheel tell me is 15 um force feedback like way way low I think it is so it's dark um I struggled I'm not even sure if my phone's
