Hey everyone, it's Deja with Knit
and Crochet Ever After, and today I have a new
paid pattern in my shops.
If you're new to this channel, I am Deja. I give away free
stuff all the time, and then sometimes I have reveals
for some paid patterns. This
is one of those. Back to the free real quick,
I do give away a lot of free
pattern workshops,
and I also do give away some of my paid patterns for free
For a limited time only.
So if you want to make sure that you don't miss out on those,
my last one was the smushy
slippers that you will, if you go back a little bit,
you'll see what those look like.
Those are free for less than a week.
So make sure you hit the notification bell,
like and subscribe, and then you'll get noted
notified as soon as I release one of those limited free time patterns.
And I try to do them often.
Back to the new pattern.
So these are the Huntington slippers, sandals, flip-flops,
whatever you want to call them.
They are a super comfy, strappy little crochet sandal.
I used one of my new favorite big box yarns and it's just so soft.
I like, I love anything soft.
I love anything that has texture. It's a Bernat velvet.
So the bottoms are just Bernat blanket.
Worsted weight. The tops are the Bernat Velvet
and they have such pretty colors and it's got
kind of this like velvet. It's velvet. It's called velvet.
It looks like velvet and it's just really
really comfy. So they are great for making these sandals out of.
So it takes about
120 yards apiece.
Like if you get one, you know,
you get like a blanket and a burnout or a velvet, you'll
be good to go.
You probably make a few pairs out of it because the velvet has,
I think, 350 something yards.
So it's got a lot of yardage, which, you know,
is really good for big box, you know.
Mass produced yarn but this is a it's a technically
an intermediate skill level but I think that
the photo tutorial on how to make the straps
is probably you know making the straps is
probably the hardest part you know you're doing basic stitches
in the round to create
the two soles they're sewn together
the straps are crocheted on so it's just
Not too difficult. I think that if you're adventurous,
you would be fine making this.
So these are available in the shops in the description below
so that you can go check them out if you are interested in making them.
I really love messing around with slippers and stuff.
And I think I have another one coming out soon.
So I'll have not sandal type, but I have.
Lots of ideas, and I probably do some more limited free time,
so be sure that you're
subscribing and liking
and hitting the notification bell if you like getting free stuff.
So those are the Huntington slippers.
Go check them out.
I hope you like them.
If you make them, tag me on Instagram or Facebook.
I love seeing what you guys make.
I'm Deja with Knit and Crochet Ever After, and thank you for watching.
