First off, I'm going to be starting making a lip scrub, and I'm going to be using about
almost a teaspoon of honey. Now, my honey is solid because it's raw honey, but you can use
regular honey as well. And then I'm going to add some brown sugar to it. I'm kind of just eyeballing
it, so for one teaspoon of honey, I'm kind of adding three small teaspoons of brown sugar.
And then I'm just going to warm it up a little bit so the honey can melt. You don't have to do
this if you have the regular honey. And I'm just going to stir it and mix it until it's nicely
combined, and I get a nice consistency. So keep stirring. You can add more honey if you feel like
you need it. And if you make too much, it's okay because this stuff can be stored, and it pretty
much lasts forever. And yes, those are Hannah Montana PJs. Don't judge me. So once you have a
nice thick consistency, I'm going to take a lemon. You can use lemon juice from the bottle for this.
And I'm going to take half a lemon, and I'm going to give it just one squeeze, which is probably
about half a teaspoon. These three ingredients work so well together. The brown sugar is a great
exfoliant. The honey is going to give you softer and more supple lips, and the lemon is kind of
going to be used as a lightening agent. I like to do this to my lips every other night because now
that it's colder outside, I find that my lips are peeling a lot more, and they're drier, and they're
not looking good because it's so cold outside. So this scrub really helps to get rid of the dead
skin that's on my lips and gives me more supple lips. As most of you know, for those of you who
have been watching my videos for quite a while, I do have really pigmented lips, and they can get
really dark at times. And I noticed that with this mixture, my lips have been getting lighter.
I got this tip from a lovely friend on Facebook. I'm sorry if I butcher her name, but her name is
Emrooge, and she told me to use almond oil on my lips. And I was like, wow, why didn't I think of
that? Almond oil is like my best friend. So you want to make sure that your lips are completely
dry and there's nothing on them. Oh, ugly face. So I'm just going to take this scrub, and I'm
going to put it onto my lips, and I'm just going to scrub my lips in a circular motion. You don't
want to go crazy and scrub it like you're getting dirt off some dishes. You just want to be nice and
gentle because your lips can rip, you know? You don't want to cause any rips or cuts in your lips,
so just gently exfoliate your lips in small circular motions. And if you feel like it hurts,
just go more gentle. And I would say you want to do this for about a minute or so, just to get
your lips nice and invigorated and all of the dead skin off. After you've been scrubbing for about a
minute, just wash it off with some lukewarm water. And I'm also using my towel just to kind of remove
anything that may be left behind. You don't have to do this part if you don't want to, but I just
like to. After I'm done exfoliating, I'm going to grab my best friend in the entire world, which is
almond oil. I know, it's sad. It's my best friend. And I'm going to apply it all over my lips. Almonds
are known to have a lightening agent in them, so they're great for lightening your lips. Do this
for a couple weeks before bedtime, and you are good to go. Thanks for watching! Bye, guys!
