I'll start by introducing myself. For those of you who don't know me, you're probably at the wrong wedding. But my name is Sam and I've probably known Cam for about three quarters of my life. There are a lot of great men in this room today. Some of them marketers, miners, engineers, but of all of them I'm the best. So I just wanted to start with a bit of a gag. I'm hoping it's not too bad. But I just wanted to use this platform to try and clear the air a bit. Newly wedded couple, I wanted to help them transition into their new life together. So I just wanted to clear up a bit of history. So everybody in their lives has a bit of history. Girlfriends and boyfriends before we meet the one we love. And sometimes you give this person maybe a kid, a house or something like that. They're close to you. So I guess we'll start with Alicia. And I just want to anybody who's in the room today who still has a key to Alicia's front door. Let's put that behind us. Come up here. Give it in. It's over. Come on. Who's there? Even on the key ring over here. Wow. Jackie. All righty. Well, I'm excited for this. We all know our friend Cam was a bit of a stud back in his bachelor days. So this will be good. Can anyone in the room with a key to Cam's front door please come up now. So growing up me and Cam were pretty much inseparable. The only time we didn't spend together was probably when we were in the classroom learning. And when you spend this much time together, you sort of run out of normal things to do. So we came up with some pretty weird shit. But around the age of 14, we got our first taste for alcohol. And we used to when the parents left, we used to sneak into the alcohol cupboard. We'd have a few shots, get a bit tipsy. And we dance around the house and film ourselves. But anyway, my parents had no idea. However, Helen is a crafty lady and she noticed that some of her bottles were evaporating slowly. So what she did was she got a permanent marker and marked the bottles with the level. And I thought we were done. I was like, oh, we're going to have to do something else. But no, not Cam. Cam went straight to the garage, found the turpentine and a cloth. And all of a sudden those marks were moveable. And we were back in action. To this day, I don't think I've come clean. So I'm very sorry, Helen. I think I owe you a few bottles of some very expensive spirits. Anyway, I guess I could probably go on all night about stories growing up. But just what I wanted to say was, you know, I've been able to watch you grow and mature into the man you are today. You know, your life goals have changed from wanting to own a Nissan 350Z and a Nokia Razor flip phone to building a successful career, your own home and a marriage pretty much all in the one year as well. I'd like to say that I had an influence on that growth, but it wasn't. It was probably 99.99% Alicia. But I just wanted to say that I'm so proud of the man you've become. I'm so proud to be able to call you my best mate and that you found such a strong and stunning, motivated woman in Alicia or wife. How does that sound? But anyway, I'm sure we all are. And I am especially excited for you both in your future, especially for your buddy. I mean, honeymoon. I'm just kidding. Anyway, can we all please raise a glass to Cam and Alicia?
