Finding beautiful places in Wales is easy… finding somewhere you're actually happy to sleep for the night? That's another story! 😂🚐
Come with me for a few days of full-time vanlife as I road trip around the stunning Llŷn Peninsula in North Wales.
I'm driving through rolling Welsh hills, discovering beautiful beaches, exploring the coastline and taking in some incredible scenery — all while dealing with some VERY changeable Welsh weather and the nightly challenge of finding somewhere to park the van and call home.
That's one of the things I'm discovering again about full-time vanlife. You can spend the day surrounded by some of the most beautiful scenery in the country, but eventually you still have to answer that question…

I'm still taking this journey one day at a time, balancing travelling and exploring with working online and trying to build enough income to make this lifestyle sustainable.
No campsites booked. No strict itinerary. Just me, my little van and wherever the road takes me next. ❤️🚐

Hi, I'm Sara! 👋
After spending almost two years living full-time in my van while my house was being renovated, I moved back home - but I never stopped missing the freedom of life on the road.
So I've decided to give full-time vanlife another go. 🚐❤️
This time there's a challenge: can I build enough online income to pay my mortgage back home AND support a life of travelling in my van?
I've worked out that I need to earn around £100 a day, so I'm sharing the real journey as I try to make that happen - the adventures, beautiful park-ups, costs, income, unexpected problems and everything that doesn't quite go to plan!
This isn't just a travel channel. It's my attempt to build a different kind of life - with more freedom, more adventures and hopefully a lot more time on the road.
