Fever Match Up Well With Aces

The Aces are a good matchup for the Fever.
They really are.
Now you say that with some caution.
You say that knowing you don't want to immediately regret it.
Given that you only want to ask for Asia Wilson, Chelsea Gray, and Jackie Young so much.
You know what they are capable of.
They're the defending champs.
They're looking to win four out of five.
That is said with the utmost respect.
But still on paper and in the games that we've seen, not only did the Fever go the distance
with the Aces last year with Kaitlyn Clark out and Kelsey Mitchell, you know, her body
gave out in that series.
But look at this year.
They played three times.
The Fever won two out of those three and they were up by 20 in the game that they didn't
win that went to overtime.
It required an extraordinary set of circumstances for them to lose.
If I'm the Fever, I try to turn it into a track meet.
Let Kaitlyn push the ball, let Kelsey run the floor, and just let them put up a bunch
of shots as they've done all season long.
Then you've got Aaliyah Boston who guards Asia Wilson better than any player in the
league.
She's basically played her to a wash.
Now A.B.'s been dealing with an injury all season long, but when you factor in, they've
got a player to guard Asia Wilson.
The Aces aren't really equipped to go after the Fever's biggest weaknesses on the boards
or perimeter defense, and the Aces are not the fastest team in the world.
It is a good matchup for the Indiana Fever.
It doesn't mean they're going to win, but they are certainly capable of beating the
Las Vegas Aces.
