We're Adam and Joanne from inspiredtaste.net and welcome to our kitchen.
Hi guys, we're back with another updated recipe video for you. This week we're doing our fall
off the bone ribs. We shared it a few years back but it needed some sprucing up. Yeah,
the recipe is still the same. It's really easy and we know you are going to love it.
Most of the time is just sitting back and relaxing, so let's get these in the oven.
Yeah, let's do it. These baked ribs are so easy. All you need is time. For tender ribs,
remove the thin membrane covering the rack. Depending on where you buy your ribs,
this may already be done, just like ours. If it is there, simply wiggle a knife underneath
the membrane then pull the membrane away from the bones. Now cut the rack in half so that it
fits into a baking dish. Now it's time to season. Since we are adding a barbecue sauce at the end,
we're just seasoning with salt and pepper. With that said, if you have a favorite spice rub,
this is the time to use it. Once both sides are well seasoned, cover the dish with foil
and make sure it's tight. Slide the ribs into the oven. We have the temperature at 275 degrees.
For the most tender ribs, we bake them low and slow for about 3 hours.
Now you can sit back and relax or take 10 minutes and whip up a quick barbecue sauce.
This one is sweet and spicy. Throw finely chopped onions into some hot oil and cook until softened.
Add a little ground cumin and once it's fragrant, add ketchup, hot chili sauce like sriracha,
apple cider vinegar and brown sugar. Stir everything together and cook for a couple minutes.
Alright, the ribs are done and smell amazing. It's time to add the sauce. You can use ours
or your own. Remove the ribs and then drain the juices left at the bottom of the dish.
Add sauce to the bottom side of the ribs, place them back into the dish and then cover the top
with more sauce. You could go ahead and serve them now or take an extra 5 minutes and caramelize the
sauce under a hot broiler. And that's it. Easy oven baked ribs. And just to show you that we're
not kidding around when we say fall off the bone, take a look at this. Enjoy. You need to make these
ribs. So good, you guys. You have to make them. You know the drill. The recipe is on inspiredtaste.net
