Every day life on an off grid homestead

We have to move here on this side It still looks bad in the north This is the pile that needs to be moved somewhere else The farm is on the move At least the plants are on the move The things that must grow I don't know I have no idea I have a bunch of flowers from my mom So we planted them I don't know if we'll get any flowers this year But at least we have them Until next year I have also planted my marigold flowers So I have to make my cream and so on And also the linen What do you say then Linen flowers Linen sides or flax sides I don't know What is correct behavior They have such beautiful flowers Oh a little salt Oh Cilantro Carrots But They haven't shown up at all So I don't know if I will get any In the greenhouse I have tomatoes Turmeric Cheers And chili I have also received a plant of bell peppers and tomatoes From my mother-in-law So hopefully I will get something from them For my plants it's really frightening And So this year's garden and planting is not a success so far Men That's just the way it is And We'll see if we get any The only thing that seems to be growing here is weeds and grass So if you're honest the garden is just because we like it And I think it's really fun to grow plants It's not possible to live off the garden The climate here doesn't lose it Not in any way that's sustainable We get grass from here So we take a small part at a boxes in the grass So We will have to do something about this very soon The problem is that we don't just have the garden to light up We also have all the other projects and jobs So The farm is why we love it And if we don 't have time for it that's just how it is We had a great summer vacation with our wonderful family from Tova's side plus my brother Tova's brother has built and repaired a homemade drone It's a special type that's harder to fly than usual I'm in the process of building one too I hope the pictures will come back in our videos Here are some pictures from the farm that we have talked about so much It's almost 11 at night and the sun hasn't set yet It's near the end of June and I'm standing here having been eaten by mosquitoes It's so beautiful here that I want to come here and film something for you Even though I've been eaten up We have been very busy the past few weeks We have worked from morning until night The usual necessary thing The ski lift for next winter must be cleared My brother is here on a visit He has been here for a couple of weeks He will be here for a few more weeks All of his previous regular jobs have been suspended due to the virus It's not so good economically for him But it's very good for us with all the help we've received from him When he came here we started building a new industry A stone industry where we get water It always falls in the winter So now we have made it much stronger with larger stones So hopefully we won't have to do it again next summer We have also built a small bridge over the stream So I don't need to go back and forth with the animals I can ride around in a circle during morning and evening hours instead We have been on our way to start working with the industry The agriculture industry But we haven't gone that far yet For we also started with the industry It is very important to have The industry must be built every summer Or perhaps we will do it in the spring It is very important that it is built It is necessary for next winter Otherwise we would not be able to live here We also spent time building an air vent in the cabin For everything we don't use regularly So we get more space More storage space Tuva is also a clear buyer of old things I think I'm also interested But Tuva is the one who finds all the old things that we hope to use Old tools and old stock Oh that sort of year's training materials as well The plan is to build a garden house Exclusive to the garden So we don't need this But we'll see if it gets done this summer or not Now I just need to put all these techniques and things back in the right place And find places for everything We have a lot of things here Men mainly technicians who need to find their right place And hopefully we will be able to use this better Since every time I needed to use it I had to first take it out Take it out I had nowhere to put everything This old garden came into my hands She is from a house where Tuva's parents live We and our parent have built a better garden there To build a new garden here There are a lot of screws and nails here And half-finished projects that I also need to complete It feels really good to get this done now Even though there are a lot of other things that also need to be done We must continue building on the kitchen And continue building on the house But the garden must be done every year We also need this place For all construction projects So this must also be done We get comments here and there We should focus on the house And get it cleared Soon Ivar will be bigger I don't know We get these types of comments now and then And of course it feels the same for us too We get up early every morning And first we do morning rounds with all the animals And then we continue with some projects And also filming and equipment for these videos Everything takes a bit longer when we film The point I wanted to make is that we work from morning until night every day Especially with what is most urgent It often feels frustrating not being able to do what you're convinced you should be able to Like building a kitchen and such Things are as they are And we live well We don't particularly care about anything It's always such things It must be done as fuel And it must be done as winter feed These are the two most stressful tasks I don't know how to say it It's what takes time away from all other projects Yes as I said This feels really good These have all been replaced We still need to save some time sorting out all the tools and projects We have had a fantastic summer so far These last two weeks Yes really hot We have had to bathe in the stream several times today So at least 30 degrees Celsius every day Not in the stream No not in the stream But very warm in the water We really liked it very much Maybe a bit too warm when we work But it's still good Yes but we have done a couple of days of work in the head now So it has been good to be without the sun Ivar is sleeping in his pram He has been asleep for a couple of days almost a week He sleeps almost the entire day I wake up maybe five times during the night I'm a bit tired He's in a developmental phase I think He's talking about a four-month-old monster He's not four months old yet but maybe He is coming there Unfortunately Mattias's brother Kevin is here and helping out Yes it has been really good We have gotten many things done Extra hands We are very happy that he is here and helping us out for a couple of weeks Very much needed We haven't started some of the bigger projects yet We are prepared at least So let's just get started The wheel is almost finished but now comes the color But when Hopefully it will be a few weeks in July with good weather It looks like it's going to rain a lot this coming week Hopefully we have a few weeks of good weather so we have the color It's always a delicate project if we want the color to blend in In a good way so that it doesn't start to crack We went to the town the big one We were recognized by a woman on the parking lot She had seen our videos She said that she discovered them I'm worried that we might seem a bit strange For we are not
