DRUGSTORE HOT ROLLER ROUTINE UNDER 40 😱

Hey guys, welcome back to my YouTube channel. If you're new here, I'm Jalissa. Today I'm going to show you guys how I do my drugstore hot rollers routine. I'm going to be using the Remington hot rollers. These are only like 40 bucks and it brings like 20 hot rollers, so a great deal right here. I'm gonna link it down below if you guys want to check it out. My hair looks so short because I actually ended up cutting the one side that was a little bit uneven. I got a curly haircut and one side of my hair is curlier than the other one, so when I would blow out my hair, one side was significantly longer than the other one, so I just could not take it anymore and I had to trim that side a little bit just to make it even. I know that probably when I curl it now and I leave it natural, it's gonna look a little bit uneven, but I'll try to maybe elongate the curls and see what I can do, but I just didn't want my hair to look uneven when I would blow it out. So this is what I'm working with today. I actually got my hair cut yesterday and yeah, I want to do hot rollers to see how it would look once I have a little bit more volume and more bounce, so let's get right into it. Stay tuned because I'm actually starting today a three-month hair growth journey, so if you guys want to see if the products that I'm about to use work for hair growth, stay tuned because in three months I will give you guys the tea and I'll let you guys know if this product works for hair growth or not. So I'm literally going to use this only product for the next three months. So I'm going to add a little bit of dry shampoo to my hair just to give it a little bit more of volume and make it more fresh as well. I'm going to use the IGK Good Behavior Spirulina Protein Smoothing Spray. I'm just going to add this on my hair. So I'm going to use the bigger rollers at the bottom. This is actually the bigger size and this is a very small roller in my opinion. This is like one inch and then this has to be like half an inch, the smaller one. So you're definitely going to get small curls with this, which I actually really, really like. These do get a little bit hot so it kind of burns your fingers a little tiny bit when you're rolling them but not as bad as other ones that I have tried. Do any of you watch Love Island? I am obsessed. I am hooked with Love Island, especially the UK one. Like the US one is nice too, it just started but wow, the UK one is spicy. Ekingsu and Davilae make such a cute couple. They're so cute and Gemma and Luca are cute too. I really like them together. I know Tasha and Andrew had a lot going on but they actually look cute together too and I feel like they're meant to be together. They always gravitate towards each other and they're just so adorable. They're both so cute together. I just love all the Love Islands pretty much. Okay guys, so I am going to let these set for about an hour and I'm actually going to add this OUAI texturizing hairspray. So this is going to give you some volume if you wanted to use it afterwards but I'm just going to spray a little bit now just for some hold, some extra hold. I love this spray. I'm gonna link it down below. It smells amazing as well. Okay, so I'll be back in an hour. So it's been about 30 minutes. I'm gonna start taking these off. As you can see, I took one off for a TikTok just now so I'm just gonna keep taking them off. So far, loving the results. I just want a little bit of a bounce without extreme heat and I feel like this is definitely gonna give me that. I don't do hot rollers too often just because it can be a little bit more time consuming but it is definitely worth it because it's less damaging than using a curling iron or a wand. Yeah, it looks good so far. You definitely don't get like a super tight curl so just do this if you want a little bit of a bounce. And these hot rollers are way smaller than other ones that I have that are over an inch and just really don't give me much of a bounce. So if you want something that's going to be a little bit tighter than this and a little bit smaller, I can try to find some and link them down below but I think these sizes are good. See, this is the smaller size. And look at that curl. Look at that curl. It's so adorable. So yeah, I think these are so worth it from Remington. I post a lot of stuff on there that I do not post on here. But guys, look at how much volume the two front rollers gave me. I love it. Okay. Oh my god, I'm actually loving the haircut. I'm not gonna lie. In the beginning of this video, I wasn't too excited about my haircut because my hair looked so just like short and straight. It didn't have much going on. But with this volume now, it's different. It's different. It's a different story now. So definitely buy these, guys, if you want very affordable hot rollers that are not very damaging and that bring a lot of hot rollers. I mean, these bring 20. I'm gonna add this Wella Professionals oil that I just got in the mail. So I'm gonna try it for the first time. It smells really good. It smells amazing. So I'm just gonna use a little, little, tiny bit. I don't like to add too much oil to my hair. Just a little tiny bit. This smells so good. This smells like perfume. It smells so good. Look at the curls. Look at the volume. Wait, I'm actually so happy with the final look. I'm actually so, so happy with the haircut. I got kind of like curtain bangs as well yesterday. So as you can see, my bangs are like super short. But I like it because it kind of frames the face more. I feel like this side looks shorter though. But maybe it's just how it's placed, you know. But I love it. I love the new curtain bangs. And yeah, I just really, really like the final look. I'm so excited. Anyways, that is it for this video. Let me know your thoughts.
