Hi everyone Welcome back to my channel and thanks for clicking on this video
In today's video we're preparing festive appetizers
I have several different savory options and at the end one sweet treat
So if you'd like to see what we'll be preparing please keep watching
Alright friends first up our little star from Smukis
You'll need a pack of crescent-shaped rollers of your preferred brand
Then you'll need small smoked beef strips
They're like little mini hotdogs
They have different types of meat I saw turkey and beef
I'm sure they're even cooking pork
So choose the one that your family likes
One red pepper Just for decoration to make a bow
Here you see
And then at the end one beaten egg for lubrication
First you need to take the dough out of its packaging
I've already preheated the oven to 190
degrees Celsius The dough has fully risen
Now you just need to join the seams
Make one big one
Roll out the dough
Once you've sewn all the seams
together you can cut them into strips
Alright I laid out our little smoked
meats in a bowl to make assembling easier
So I guess I'll cut her in half once more
Considering how tiny they are
you can easily knock them over
You don't need much dough—too much
will slightly ruin the baking time
So I'll just cut them in half
So take your little smoked treats
Wrap them in the dough like this
Then as soon as we've gathered them all together and settled things
I'll arrange them in a wreath shape on this non-stick baking sheet
Alright now the most interesting part
We're going to arrange them in the form of our little wreath
You want them touch each other so
make sure you press them together
You might need to try this a few times
until you achieve the perfect positioning
Alright looks good
I've got a bit left
here I'll just sort them separately
Maybe I'll give them to my daughter as a little snack
So we've already mixed the egg mixture and it's ready to use
We're going to spread it on the dough
This will make it brown and give it a nice leafy appearance
You can also use oil
But I think the egg mask works far better
Alright our wreath is ready
We've brushed it with egg wash
I'm going to put it in the oven
At 190 degrees Celsius for 8 to 12 minutes
Alright while our buns are
baking we'll chop up this pepper
We're essentially just slicing it for decoration
To place it on the wreath to tie a bow
So what are we going to do
I'm going to cut off all the edges
I'll do something like a bow like this
It's a bit tricky Maybe
I'll use toothpicks
when we get to the presentation
But you just want it to look like a little bow
This step is absolutely not required
But I think it's very festive
Alright guys
They just came out of the oven and they're perfect
Alright guys
I transferred them onto a serving plate
They really do resemble squares
but you get the idea
And I must say it was quite difficult
Remove them from the baking pan
but I managed to remove them intact
without damaging the pan
So now we're going to
add red pepper to our bow
I think I'll use a toothpick
to hold it in place
Alright here it
is The bow isn 't
perfect but you get the idea
You can add ketchup mustard
barbecue sauce or any other sauce
Whatever you like inside
and he's ready Good guys
Next we'll work on our cheese ball
So I prepared it yesterday
our sour cream mixture
I took 600 grams of softened butter cheese
3.5 ounces of sharp
cheddar cheese half a pac
one bunch of fresh spring onions
and one packet of ranch seasoning
So I'll insert a paperclip so you can see
how I did it
Therefore in addition to the ingredients for the cheese ball
You'll need a bit more pecan nuts
I've already chopped them
It will be a sprinkle
Then you'll need a grape tomato
I have a few here to try on
and see which one I like better
A few pretzels
Black olives
You'll only need one and a little bit of crackers
for soaking the cheese
But the entire purpose I prepared yesterday
The idea was for the
dish to sit overnight
The recipe states that at least 4 hours are required
but it's better if it's around overnight
So I'll take this out of the packaging
I'll place the pecan on the plate and
then we'll put the cheese ball right there
Let's roll it so it sticks to the ball
Press it firmly in place
Make sure it
adheres properly
That'll add a nice crisp crunch
Alright we've got all the pecans there
Now we'll attach the ears
Rudolph's nose and eyes
You'll need to angle the
ears so they look like horns
Just squeeze them
I couldn't find a large one at the store
I'd prefer larger
ones but this will work
Just try to fit them in there as best you can
Hold it tighter
Let's begin It's slightly sharpened
Now we'll make the eyes
Pierce these olives
Then insert them in the same way
as you did with the tomato
Just give it a little push
You don't want the tomato stem to get squashed do you
Alright next you'll need crackers of your choice
I really love this collection
of snack crackers from Walmart
They'really delicious
Every time we have a sauce
for example spinach or something similar
We use them and they're incredibly delicious
I also have crackers and small pieces
of bruschetta from the gift basket
The one we received for the holiday
So I'll use them too
Just boldly lay out your crackers
That's it guys Super simple
very tasty and very festive
Alright guys
Next our eggs without blood
Now mainly what we're going
to do is I've prepared six eggs
You can prepare as much as you like
Again this is only for my family
but if you have a meeting or even a larger family gathering
prepare more eggs because we're about to
Cut them in half
so that will equal 12 eggs
So you'll need eggs of course any kind will do
What do you like to cook your devil's eggs with
I use mayonnaise mustard salt pepper and paprika
And then you'll need a little food-grade
coloring in gel form
I chose red and green
Then I'll cut them in half and return
Alright guys I've decided to share
With you as I prepare my devil's eggs mixture
I know we're all different depending on who you are
Where are you from and who taught you—your
mother or someone else But I'll do it this way
That's how my mother taught me
So you can break all the yolks
Try to make the mixture as
smooth and lump-free as possible
But if you love a super-creamy blend
pour it into a blender
or beat by hand with a mixer
But we're not particularly picky about this
So I'll just beat them up
I'll take my mayonnaise and mustard
My mom never told me the exact amount
We're just eating and watching how it goes
If we need more mayonnaise
We need more mustard
And vice versa Let's start with one full
a tablespoon of mayonnaise
A few drops of mustard
We'll mix all of this together like this
It has a certain flavor
Now we'll add salt and pepper
And I added the paprika last just for decoration
Well off-camera I washed them
and cleaned it
We'll mix our dye
mixture So I'll add a few drops
o the water
And we'll place the eggs there and simply leave them
You can have it as bright
or as light as you like
ow you like it You can make it very tender
As for the color it's either very dark
It completely depends on you and it depends on
depending on how long you leave
it in the aqueous solution
Alright now you just grab your
eggs and toss them over there
Alright here it is You'll simply leave them
standing We'll keep checking on them constantly
and pull out a few to see how
color is absorbed And as soon as you reach your desired
When the color is bright enough you can remove the eggs
Alright guys these eggs are lying
It's been quite a while now nearly an hour
The red one looks good and opaque
Green still needs a bit more
time but I still think he's got it
It's quite green compared to white
So we're going to remove them
Very very carefully You don 't
want to break the eggs
Let's remove the
red one The
red one truly took hold of the color
I filled the pastry bag with the
yellow mixture I added a little bit more
Chopped the onion finely Then
we'll also add paprika at the end
Paprika and onions are
just for color So I'll begin
embroider You don't need to
use a ping bag I just thought
It will look more beautiful
That's it As I already said
it broke but that's no problem
It's at home for us so I'm not too worried
So I'll add a bit of ours
Sauté the onions then the peppers
and finally transfer to the plate
Carefully place them on the
plate—they may
slide a little
That's right guys
Our wonderful Christmas eggs
Alright guys
Next our whimsical plate
made from sugarcane So
For a Caprese salad you'll need a
little bit of already diced French bread
A few red tomatoes
I'm going to use about three
A bunch of fresh basil or if you have any
Something from your garden if you have one would be wonderful
A little diced mozzarella cheese
balsamic glaze a pinch of salt
and a little olive oil So first I'll
wash the peppers and a bit of olive oil
Tomatoes and I'll slice
them into thin pieces
We've chopped all the tomatoes
Now I'll start dicing the rest
our mozzarella It's already pre-
sliced but the pieces seem to be
A bit thick so if they
are I also cut them
Actually she's not that heavy I'll just
leave everything as is Okay next one
e step is very very simple—you just shape
the candy stick on your wooden stick
on a cutting board or any other container
which you will use
Start by arranging my tomatoes
And then we'll go back and add the mozzarella
just so I can make sure I have it right
Just add mozzarella in
alternating
colors
Alright guys here's our
sugar stick It's so lovely
Rich hearty and satisfying
Now we'll add our basil
I'll tuck it into the little corners
So if you'd like to take a bite
A small piece when you bite into it you
can take it from there and lay it out here
the flower puzzle
Now we'll take a few
smaller leaves Jus
Let's tuck them away in the corners here
I'll take my little plate
right here and place it on top
basilica leaves Drizzle a little glaze
into the bowl Add a
small spoonful to it
olive oil Good I'll add my own
olive oil I'm adding it again
I'm using a coffee spoon because the portion
is correct—this isn't too
much You wouldn't want
Roast the tomatoes in
mozzarella with olive oil
Just take a little sea salt
sprinkle it on because I always do
I'd like to season the tomatoes
Then a little freshly
ground pepper
Alright guys we've got the caprese
Now we'll get our plate
bread You can always toast it yourself
or use a small toasting You can use
Crackers or simply avoid bread altogether
It's entirely up to you
But I'll serve it with
bread—nice little pieces
French bread Location
Here's how our candy caprese looks
Very festive
Our bread as a side
It's perfect Alright guys
And finally but no less important we are about to
Prepare our Christmas-themed mason jars
So you'll need one package of lime
gelatin three ounces one package of
alf a cup of gelatin three ounces
a little whipped cream then a light sprinkle
your choice to add on top
And finally but no less important you
You'll need clear glasses
If you have tumblers those will work or
even clear cups will work bu
I wanted something small since it's a treat
So I bought them at Walmart in a large pack
Therefore first you need to gather
jelly We'll do this one at a time
So you're planning to prepare
gelatin according to the instructions on the package
Okay I've mixed the gelatin Now
What will you do Fill our little
cups halfway with red jelly
And then they must freeze
As soon as they freeze we'll move to the green and lay down
On top green Now they don't
need to fully set We'll wait
possibly half an hour or 30 minutes
to see whether it starts to harden
As soon as that happens it will be perfectly appropriate to lay down
green on top Otherwise you'll just mix it up
Red and green together make brown
so this will ruin everything
So we'll fill our
cups halfway with red
Now we'll place them in the refrigerator for about 20 minutes to half an hour
o see where we currently stand
Alright guys Now we're going to prepare
our lime jelly according to the instructions
Alright guys I just grabbed my
raspberry jelly from the fridge
I put it in the freezer for about
5 minutes to speed things up
As you can see it's still slightly wobbling
But I think we can pour it from above
without leaking so we'll give it a try
One option let's see
So the main thing here is to pour it slowly
and around the circle to avoid excessive
pressure at any single point on the cup
If it makes sense I'll just
pour it in and give it a spin
Be very careful
That's it
You see there are two
distinct lines there
Alright guys Now I'll carefully
place this back into the container
And I'll put it back in the fridge
Good work guys Our jelly has set nicely
As you can see this nice red-and-green variation has emerged
I'll add some whipped cream on top I'll
sprinkle a little bit more on And that's it
I'll use a little powdered sugar
Then I have a bit of thick sprinkling
Maybe I'll add a bit more on top
That's it guys
Our little golden sandies if you like
Warm
