CAR CULTURE is about more than horsepower, chrome, and beautiful machines. It’s about the people behind the cars—and the relationships, memories, families, friendships, and stories built around them. Every car has a story. Maybe it was your father’s car, the first car you ever owned, a project you’ve spent years building, or the machine that brought lifelong friends together. From classic cars and hot rods to lowriders, exotics, customs, motorcycles, race cars, and backyard builds, CAR CULTURE explores why these machines become such an important part of our lives. Because sometimes… it was never really about the car. Tuxedo Edition 57 Ranchero.
And what makes this car so cool is not only the paint
scheme and the fact you don't see these very often, but what
I love the most about this car, it's got the 57
Thunderbird 312 motor in it.
I've always loved, I think, that out of the 55 through 57,
that the 56 is the one that's probably the most
underestimated, and why it has only built 8,100 of them.
Against the wind, I found myself alone.
Surrounded by strangers I thought were my friends.
I found myself further and further from my home.
And I guess I lost my way.
I rode so many roads.
I'm pleased that I was responsible for their lives.
Honestly, when I retired, that's the only thing I really
missed is the people.
And it wasn't until I ran into Tyler and I got involved with
Tyler that, what was it, maybe around September, Tyler told me
right out here while we were having a time out together that
he looked at me and said, I just want you to know that you
saved my life.
And honestly, that's probably the most humbling thing that
has been said to me in a long time.
And I realized then that he actually saved my life.
You know what I really need help with?
Telling my wife I bought a new car.
