C Trent Fraley No More Stigma for Offensive Linemen
Aug 25, 2026
I don't really think there is much of a stigma anymore.
Do you feel like there's some of a stigma for the lower level transfers, especially offensive linemen?
Obviously the brand of football that's played at the top of the FCS is probably better than some of the FBS levels.
Do you feel like guys like Connor before you, he kind of erased some of that?
Yeah, I don't really think there is much of a stigma anymore.
You look at Connor Moore, he comes in and starts right away.
There's just so many FCS guys that can make the jump up and have a seamless transition.
There's not really, oh well you're at the Big Ten now, you're going to do bad.
You just jump up here and just keep doing what you've been doing at the FCS level.
I think the whole offensive line, we just came in, everybody had chips on their shoulders.
Everybody wanted to be the best version of themselves and that's where we are now.
Do you feel like you guys have a set five or is there going to be some movement up there?
Where do you feel the guys went on to go?
Yeah, I'm not too positive.
I mean, we kind of have been sticking with some rotations going forward, but there's nothing set in stone yet.
I think we're still trying to see who the best five will be starting with the lead up.
Isn't it fun when you have a bunch of new guys, especially experienced guys, you're probably going to play together, right?
You meet new passers, just get to know each other.
Yeah, it absolutely is.
I mean, you come in and it's cool to play next to people, but actually playing with your brother, building relationships with each other,
it just makes it a lot more fun and you can really honestly trust.
You build trust with each other because you're brothers with them now and then you trust your brother to do what they need to do.
