A little bit of everyday life from our home village in the South of France. ❤️
In this video, I’m taking you along for some simple moments of the day — a little shopping and grocery run, cleaning the car, a quick trip to the shop, and enjoying the beautiful mountain views and nature around us. And then… a little accident happened. 😅 The boys were playing football in our tiny yard, and unfortunately, the ball broke a beautiful antique plate that we had found in the basement of the house.
But I already have an idea for giving those little pieces of the plate a new life — and I actually love the thought that something that belonged to this old house will continue to stay here.
And, of course, our little Plume makes an appearance too! 🐈⬛ She is doing wonderfully and seems very happy in her new home. We ended the day with another little gift — a beautiful red sunset over the village.
Thank you for spending a little part of your day with me. ❤️

The speaker shares updates on her pet Plume, describes a small accident involving a broken antique plate, and takes a scenic walk through her village and surrounding mountains. The video concludes with a creative project where she uses the broken ceramic pieces to decorate a plain section of her home's stairs.
Many of you have already asked how our little Plume is doing.
Well, as you can see, she's doing very well. Her name is Plume. It means a feather,
like a bird's feather. And she's still very young, very playful and completely
comfortable in her new home. She's definitely made herself at home
and I think she has plenty of energy to spare. But speaking of energy, I'm not entirely sure
who caused a little disaster we had yesterday afternoon. The boys were playing football in our
teeny tiny yard and somehow the ball managed to break this beautiful antique plate.
And the flowers didn't survive the adventure either. The ball was flying everywhere,
as I imagine. So now I'm cleaning up the whole area, but actually
I'm cleaning it also because we had a rain again mixed with the sand from the desert.
That happens here sometimes and I've mentioned it in some of my previous videos.
I already have an idea of what I'm going to do with this broken plate.
So now I have many small pieces. Maybe you already guessed what I want to do with it.
And I have to go and to buy some materials to realize my idea just after a coffee.
And not just a coffee, with a clair au chocolat. These are from Boulangerie.
Looks really nice. Okay, I think we need this and I need gloves. I do need gloves.
I just wanted to stop here to show you the view because now in September,
when the heat is gone, we have this clarity. We can see until the very far end. This is a great
point to do this. I love so much that we have the nature all around the house and as soon as
we are done doing the things in a town, in a few minutes we are back to the nature.
I will climb a little bit, just like 100, no 200 meters. There's two flowers.
We're gonna climb this little hill. I said a little bit.
We're not on the top yet. Oh, you see our village already, just over there.
And I'll show it from the top. Spectacular view. Look, there is the village, our village.
I'll put it on my hand. Wait, like this. No, like this. Like this.
And there is the second village. Here you see the second village, very clear.
There are so many villages on the mountains. This is our beautiful forest
that, thanks God, was protected this summer from the fire. This is our lovely spot. Sometimes we
come here by walk, collect mushrooms. Soon, after the next rain, we're gonna come here to collect
some mushrooms. And if you hear a little noise, it comes from the highway, which is very close.
And nature, mountains. Okay, we arrived home. By the way, it's so nice to be in the clean car,
oh my God. And I should clean it more often. And I was thinking, if I took enough of the product,
I do not want to go back down into Montaigne today.
You may remember it from one of my previous videos, that we found this set in the basement,
the plate and the jar. And I was so happy about it. I told you that this plate and the jar belonged
to the house and I really want to keep them here. So, maybe it's not the end of the story after all.
It's a little bit like baking a cake, except I'm not making a pâte brisée here. It's a cement.
Luckily, this part of the stairs were never properly covered with anything. And honestly,
I don't know why we just skipped this little part. So, now I thought, why not try it here.
Actually, it can't really become more ugly than it already is.
Not sure what guys will say about this, but I just love the idea that these little pieces
of the antique plate we found in the basement of the house will stay here and still be a part of
this house. And today we had another little gift from nature. These beautiful evening colors in
the sky. I hope you're enjoying your time of the day wherever you are and I'll see you soon.
A bientôt.
