Temperatures are going to come down just slightly,
and we are starting out with more cloud cover.
A live look there over the Golden Gate Bridge.
Low clouds, high clouds, patchy,
dense fog reported in our North Bay Valleys this morning,
as well as the Inner East Bay Valley.
In fact, that's the icon we see on Santa Rosa right now.
A chilly 44 degrees reported at the airport
and a little bit of patchy fog.
San Francisco, 58.
We've got mid-50s in Palo Alto,
San Jose starting out at 58, as well as Santa Clara,
We're at Levi's Stadium.
We already have the
The tailgaters arriving.
Storm Tracker 2 here continuing
to watch systems move through the Pacific Northwest.
But we have this ridge here that is deflecting
the storms from reaching us.
It looks like until next weekend, I'll show you the future cast model.
Notice how the storms just continue to take a path north of California.
It does clip northern California on occasion, stopping it on Thursday
because we had hoped this system would
come ashore here in the Bay Area.
But right now, it looks like it's going to split.
Part of it's going to go north.
Part of it's going to go south.
And we are likely to remain mainly dry.
We're still a few days out.
We'll continue to watch it.
But here's our next system.
Happens to come right along on the weekend.
Saturday, Sunday, could be soggy, and then it may taper off on Monday.
We will be fine-tuning it as we get closer, but a heads-up on that one.
Afternoon highs for today, 69 San Francisco.
For the inner East Bay, low 70s in Concord.
And for the South Bay of Santa Clara, San Jose area, 73 for you there.
Our coastal flood advisory continues until Friday.
Our next high tide on its way, 10.06 this morning.
We do expect the low-lying flooding adjacent to our bays,
San Pablo, San Francisco, along our coastline as well.
For our coast, that advisory is expected to expire on Tuesday.
We continue with another advisory along our coastline,
the increased risk of sneaker waves,
as well as rip currents and large breaking waves today.
This continues until Monday afternoon.
If you're spending time along the coastline,
as you know, be very careful.
Never turn your back to the water.
The extended forecast.
Forecast temperatures won't change much.
We are going to remain unseasonably mild and dry today,
tomorrow and for the next several days.
