AI GeneratedThe presenters discuss the early arrival of Christmas decorations and provide a detailed weather forecast for Central Florida. While the immediate outlook is sunny and seasonable, a significant cold front is expected later in the week, bringing a sharp drop in temperatures and potential showers.
It came fast this year.
It did.
Well, yeah.
And I feel like a lot of people are really excited.
I am.
To celebrate Christmas early.
Because it just, it makes everybody happy, right?
It's a joyous time of the year.
I think everyone just wants to hold onto that joy a little longer.
Yeah.
It's good.
And what's, yeah, all those bah humbugs.
Yeah, let us put our trees up early if we want to.
It doesn't impact you. It makes us happy. Let us do it, right?
Exactly.
I know we talked about this earlier, Hannah.
It's nice when the weather feels that way, too.
It's beautiful this morning. It is crisp.
It is starting to warm up a little bit now compared
to what we had earlier on this morning.
Some of us were sneaking pretty darn close to the 50-degree mark
and maybe even upper 40s.
But now we're starting to get back into the 60s, 70s for some.
Beautiful views from...
All of our cameras here across central Florida,
including out toward the coast in Daytona,
our Hard Rock Hotel camera, inland toward downtown Orlando,
also bright and sunshine filled here to kick off our Sunday fun day.
But we are going to start to see, I think,
some cloud development through the afternoon
with the help of that onshore flow.
We can see a couple of sprinkles out
in the Atlantic there just to the east of Jacksonville
and a few down closer to Miami offshore as well.
But for the most part, the peninsula is dry in this.
Southeast is dry behind this cold front.
Temps still in the 50s for those of you in Ocala.
Bushnell, you're at 62.
70s in Cocoa Beach, 66 in Orlando.
And we're matching that for those of you in New Smyrna.
If you are getting out to the parks today...
Plan on maybe throwing a hoodie or a windbreaker in the bag just
to be safe because temperatures will drop off pretty quickly once
the sun goes down, but we are expecting highs to round out
in the lower 80s. Don't forget the ball cap and the sunscreen either,
excuse me, with all of that sun this afternoon.
Low 80s for us across the board for the most part might have a...
Coastal spot in the upper 70s,
but pretty close to seasonable levels for this time of the year.
Then tonight, we'll fall back into the 50s and 60s once again.
Our 64 in Bethel, 60 in the villages, and 60 in Palm Coast.
On our Fox weather model, you can see the potential for...
Clouds that I was talking about
with that onshore wind through our Sunday evening.
Again, I think with the atmospheric column as dry as it is,
I did remove that slim sprinkle chance.
I think we'll stay dry as a whole.
And same story for our Monday,
a mixture of clouds and sunshine as we begin our work week.
No issues for the morning commute
or the evening drive home or the bus ride home.
From school now, as we look at some
of our river levels, still some issues,
still river flood warnings up and down the St. Johns,
some spots including Cocoa and
above Lake Harney at moderate flood stage
and we're expected to crest that
way at Astor as well. So if you haven't taken
those precautions, which I hope you
will now that the flooding has kind
of the flooding potential has gone up,
definitely make sure you're doing that today.
Now our other story is a cold
front that's coming across the country later
on this week. This is going to be
It's gonna be a strong fall front.
And it's going to bring a much colder push
of air as we head through this upcoming weekend.
Temperatures are going to be well below normal
on the Fox 35 Storm Team 7 day.
From highs in the 80s this week into Veterans Day, a few showers too.
That system really drops our temperatures.
Showers around Thursday into Friday, but notice highs in the 60s,
both Friday and Saturday, and lows in the 40s.
Grab those jackets.
