Eagles taking on the Giants at home; St. Chris Cares for Kids 5k | Good Day Weekend

Alright guys, well we just told you about a 5k that's happening at the zoo right now we're about to give you a live look because it is the inaugural St. Chris cares for kids 5k at the zoo. So it's just giving runners, walkers and families, you know, the opportunity to race through America's first zoo, which is pretty cool, all while raising funds to support pediatric patients and families across the region. So this really marks the first major initiative between St. Christopher's and its new Community Partner, the Philadelphia Zoo, you know, it just combines fitness, family, fun, and it's in an unforgettable setting. So you can see people are out there running. The race kicked off about 30 minutes or so ago, and it should go on for a little bit. So I'm just so glad that the weather is perfect for this. And you know what else the weather is perfect for? The Eagles game today, as they take on the Giants. So our very own Jill Croce has been live at the tailgate this morning, you know, people People have been out there bright and early. Jill, what's it looking like? Have you met any super fans that are excited for today? Fans are excited for today, week nine. S-E-S-T-O! And it speaks for itself, that iconic chant on week nine. Vibes are still really good, Morgan. Though we're 2-6 this season, six-game losing streak. Maybe they'll be able to turn that around today. We'll have to wait and see, but you can see the crowd. Some still setting up, others are well-adjusted, sitting down, eating some breakfast before this 1 o'clock game. And I'm here over here with Bridget. Bridget, just kind of tell me what's on the menu. Let's check it out. Yeah, we have a theme every year. This is called the Girlgate. So today it's Trader's Breakfast. We have hash browns and French toast sticks, a little spread of bagels and breakfast burritos, and then some sweet stuff at the end. We have donuts and fruit salad. This sounds amazing in Girlgate, you were saying. I love that. Love it. So just kind of comment, this tailgate compared to other tailgates of the season, how does it compare? I would say it's a little more subdued. We were actually commenting this morning on our drive-in how compared to last year, we were stuck in traffic for close to an hour. And then this year we kind of rolled right into the lot. It's definitely been a change over the past two years, having more assigned parking spots, but we got really lucky this year having Yeah, we didn't get stuck in any traffic, too, so we're right there with you. How do you feel about Joe Milton? What do you know about him? Do you think he can get us the W today? I think as a team, we have a really great history of backup QBs stepping up when the moment is right. And so I'm feeling good about our chances and him rising to the occasion. Yeah, we'll give him a chance, you know? We might as well. Any thoughts you want to say on just Jalen? Anything you want to say when it comes to him and his recovery? Yeah, I mean, I think in my experience... Everyone I've talked to, the sentiment is just at the end of the day, this is just a game that was his life was in danger. I think he's our QB1, but the priority is to be safe and healthy. We wish him a fast recovery. Well, get to the food. I'm jealous. It looks fantastic. You're always welcome to swing by.
