Welcome back to the 10th episode
of the top tech you'd actually want to buy.
Yep, I've already made 10 of these.
It's basically a monthly series that I try
to put out at the end of every month
where I show off some of the best tech
that I think you will actually want to buy
because it'll improve your life, it'll make things easier,
and it won't break the bank too,
since a lot of these are under 100 bucks.
And yeah, this month again, I'm going all in with 20 items.
I mean, who reviews 20 tech items every month?
Seriously, I mean, nobody else, just me.
So if you see something you like,
and especially if you buy something, just do me a quick favor
and just hit that thumbs up button.
It just really helps the series keep going and really motivates me.
All right, first off, I was pretty impressed
by Microsoft's new Surface Laptop Ultra.
I mean, don't worry, I'm not showing off
that expensive beast, but I did like its new
magnetic USB-C charging cable.
It just makes plugging in the charger way easier.
Especially at night when you can't see anything.
So I tried to see if I could find
something similar for my other devices
and I ended up finding
this right angle magnetic USB-C adapter for around 12 bucks.
So basically you plug this tiny connector
into whatever device you have including your phone,
maybe tablet or even your laptop
and then you can connect this adapter
to the actual charging cable of that device.
So now whenever you need to charge it,
the whole cable just magnetically snaps right into place.
It's really nice.
Plus, since it's a 90 degree angle, this cable actually sits nicely
on the side instead of sticking right out and maybe getting bent,
especially when you're gaming on a phone.
It's a pretty clever design.
Moving on, a few weeks ago, I actually ended up finding
that I had a bunch of storage boxes just lying around my house,
and half the time, I completely forgot what's inside.
So I actually picked up this really cheap Knuckle P21 label maker
for around $17, just easily label everything.
And it's been great because it's so easy to use.
You just connect it to your phone via Bluetooth.
And inside its app you can create any custom label that you want,
including with any text,
icons, borders, you can even add QR codes, and even barcodes itself.
There's even a good amount
of pre-made templates to choose from so you can do those.
And get this, since it's thermal printing,
I never really had to worry about buying ink or toner.
You just need the label rolls and that's
it. Again, I used it a lot to organize some
of the boxes I had laying around,
but it's also a great way to label birthday or Christmas gifts.
Kitchen containers or anything else really.
Moving on, if you're someone who drinks coffee every morning,
you've got to check out this Mondeo
coffee mug going for around 15 bucks
because you'll no longer need to stir your coffee anymore with a spoon
or really any other drinks.
And that's because this mug comes with a little magnetic bead
that you attach to the bottom
and whenever you double press the power button on the handle,
it starts spinning it really fast to just mix everything together.
It works really great.
It's even got a little display on the handle
that shows you the exact temperature of your drink,
so you know when it's cool enough or hot enough to sip.
And the entire mug itself too is made out of stainless steel,
so it's got good quality with a nice sealed lid,
so your drink can stay hot too.
It's a must-have.
And that's just three out of the 20 best tech items in this video.
Last episode, we hit over 4,000 likes, which is really awesome.
I really do appreciate it, guys.
Maybe this time, let's try to see if the boys got my back,
and we can actually try to hit 5,000 likes.
Honestly, that alone will just keep me motivated
to just keep making this series every month,
especially since I record everything myself.
A quick comment too would really be great too.
Just let me know which tech item you like the most from my selection.
And stick around to the end too
because I saved my absolute favorite item on this entire list for last.
It's a great addition for your desk setup.
Next, I no longer use clips for any of my chip bags or snacks
because instead, I now use this mini bag sealer going for around $10,
which I can just slap on my fridge magnetically.
And then I can easily reseal any of my bags shut by just using heat.
That's right, I just place the open end
of the bag inside and then I press it down
and within seconds that bag is sealed up like it was never opened.
It's pretty great.
And you can even do tougher, thicker bags too.
Like I did my dog's food bag and it worked like a charm.
It works with a bunch of plastic bags.
The only thing that it doesn't work with are any bags
that are just made out of aluminum or paper.
Now when I travel I need a really small power bank
and luckily I found the world's smallest
25,000 mAh power bank from Enu called the Cougar P63 going
for around $67. I mean just look at it,
it literally fits in the palm
of my hand since it's only 4.3 inches long and yet somehow it
packs a 25,000 mAh battery inside. It's insane.
That means I could charge something like my
Galaxy S24 Ultra or iPhone 15 Pro Max about five times
in a row on a single charge.
And it even supports up to 100 watt fast charging,
so I can juice them up at the top speeds real easily.
But even better, you can even charge up to three devices
at the same time, so if I'm traveling and my phone,
tablet, and laptop are all running low on battery,
I can literally just plug them into this power bank
and they'll all get charged up real nicely.
And speaking of traveling too, it's even airline approved,
so I can bring it with me on a flight
and I won't have to deal with TSA.
Plus, as I said, it supports 100 watt fast charging,
so it's even powerful enough to charge
a full-size laptop too, like a MacBook
or even my Google Book, which is amazing
because now I don't have to rely on finding an outlet
when I'm at a park or an airport.
Every time my laptop just dies on me.
And probably my favorite thing about this power bank,
besides how small it is, is that it even comes
with a short detachable USB-C cable,
so you already have a cable ready to go,
and if it ever breaks, you can even just replace that cable
Toss out the entire power bank.
Now, if you prefer something even smaller and tougher,
something you can accidentally drop in a pool of water
or knock on the ground without worrying too much about it,
I also found this rugged 10,000 milliamp hour power bank
from Enu going for around 55 bucks.
So yes, it's even cheaper than the P63 power bank,
but it doesn't have as much battery capacity as this one.
Still, 10,000 milliamp hours is a good amount
and it charges at up to 45 watts, which isn't bad too.
I mean, you can juice up an entire Galaxy S24 Ultra
or iPhone 15 Pro Max two times in a row.
And again, it's even smaller than the P63 at just 3.6 inches tall,
so it's even easier to carry around.
It's been my go-to for whenever I go
on some crazy hiking trail or I go to the park,
because it's actually built for the outdoors.
Like, it's got an IP67 water resistance rating,
so if it starts raining or it gets covered with dirt
or even accidentally falls into some water, it'll be just fine.
And it's got a really tough design too,
so if I drop this thing or I bang it against something,
I'm not worried. But probably my favorite thing about
this power bank is that I can attach to
things really easily. Like it's got a carabiner
so I can clip it onto my backpack instead of
having to carry it around in my pocket.
Or it's also got a built-in tripod mount so I can attach
it to a compatible bike mount or a tripod
and keep my phone charging while I'm riding with it.
And on top of that, it comes with the flashlight too, which is nice.
So if you're looking for a small, tough power bank that you can
take pretty much anywhere without having to baby it around,
this INU Outdoor Rugged 10,000 mAh Power Bank
is definitely worth checking out.
I swear, every time I try to put together some furniture
or fix something around the house,
there's always that one screw that's in the most awkward spot possible.
And I'm trying to use a regular screwdriver,
but it's just such a pain to get to it.
Well that's why I started using this tool set here called
the Hodo Pivot Drive cordless screwdriver selling for around 89 bucks.
If that's gonna be a little bit too much for you still,
they're also gonna have deals during Black Friday
and I also even found a discount which I'll link down below.
But what I like about this screwdriver is that unlike a regular one,
this one has a head that can actually pivot into four different angles.
So that way you can keep it straight or bend it to 30,
60 or even 90 degrees just depending on what you're working on.
And that makes it just so much easier
to reach screws and tight corners,
or maybe even spots underneath the furniture,
inside cabinets, and a lot more.
You can literally get as close as nine millimeters to a wall,
or if you bend the head all the way to 90 degrees,
you can even shove it into spaces
that are just as narrow as 78 millimeters.
Plus I love that it has a screen too
that just shows you which of the five
torque levels you're using, and you can
switch between them with just your thumb.
And to top it off, there's a bunch
of clever hidden enhancements that I love too.
I mean, for instance, it's got a built-in LED light
so you can see in dark corners while you're screwing something in.
The trigger is smart enough to know how fast
or slow to go just depending on how hard you press it.
And my favorite thing about the Pivot Drive is that it's got a clever
design that even lets you carry six different bits on this handle,
which is really convenient. You can literally just attach it to it.
The device itself even comes with 16 bits out of the box.
It's just one of those tools that makes those small,
annoying jobs around the house just a lot easier.
I definitely recommend it. I'll drop the link
in the description if you want to check it out.
I even managed to obtain a 20% discount too,
which I'll leave down below so that way you can get it for cheaper.
I've also been looking for a really great
professional microphone that won't break the bank
because let's be honest, there are so many expensive options out there.
And on top of that, it has
to have good audio quality, just like this one.
And you can use a wireless link, like this one.
Yeah, that's right. I found the perfect option.
It's this microphone right here called
the Maono PD-200W going for around $120.
Now, what I love about this mic is that even
though it's meant for podcasting,
you don't need any of that fancy studio equipment
to just get started with recording.
You can literally just plug in this tiny receiver into your phone.
It could be an Android or an iPhone.
I plugged it into my iPhone 18, and once I did that,
it connected wirelessly to this microphone
so I could speak into it nice and easily, very freely.
And another great thing about this battery, too,
is that its battery literally lasts up to 60 hours on a single charge,
so I can be talking to this all day long into a podcast or a video,
and I don't really have to worry about it dying
while I'm recording, which is a great plus.
And even cooler, let's say I get two of these,
I can still connect into my phone wirelessly, both of them,
and then I can have a two-person podcast real easily.
Each person will even get their own separate audio track so that way if
you're editing in post you can make one person's voice a
little lower if they're talking too loud
or maybe if someone spoke and said
something inappropriate or you don't want something that they said
you can remove their part
but still keep your voice instead. It's really great.
Plus each microphone has three levels
of noise cancellation so even if I'm
recording in a noisy environment like
at the park right now it won't be a
problem. And even though I'm showing
you how you can use these wirelessly
and in a non-professional way
You can still connect them directly to a USB or even an XLR cable,
and then you can have a more professional setup that way.
So you're not just limited to using them with your phone.
And for that cherry on top, it's even got customizable RGB lighting.
I mean, what more could you ask for?
Definitely recommend the Maono PD200 microphone.
I'll leave the links in the description.
Now for the kitchen, opening cans has gotten a whole lot easier
with the Kitchen Mama going for around 40 bucks.
Because you basically plop this giant red pill on top of the can,
Then you press its button
and it'll automatically cut around the lid
before stopping on its own.
You know, at first I didn't think it would actually work,
but it actually does.
It's kind of like a little party trick.
And what's even better is that
instead of cutting through the top
and leaving those dangerously sharp edges
where you can cut yourself,
it actually cuts along the side of the lid,
just leaving a much smoother edge,
so you're now less likely to cut yourself
because you can pick it up.
Now, the only annoyance is that
you will need to charge it eventually,
but luckily,
You can open over 130 cans on a single charge,
so that won't be much of a problem.
I could especially see this being useful
for anyone who just struggles with grip strength.
I definitely recommend it.
And speaking of strength,
I've actually been trying to just become
a lot stronger as well,
so I've been on the hunt for a really good fitness band
that doesn't break the bank,
just looks nice on the wrist, feels comfortable,
and it gives me the best health info
to just help me get in better shape.
And I think I actually found the best option called
the Speedy & Strap Pro going for $159.
It checks off all those boxes.
It's super comfortable and lightweight, just weighing only 21 grams.
And what I love too is that it even does more
than most other fitness trackers out there.
For instance, it can even monitor your core body temperature,
which basically means it gives you a better picture
of what's actually going on inside your body
instead of just looking at your heart rate,
which is what most smartwatches and fitness bands do, not this one.
So before I work out it can actually tell me
if I should push myself harder, I mean take it easy,
or even just stick to my usual routine based on how my body is doing.
That way I'm not pushing myself too hard and risking any injury.
It's also got this really useful AI assistant called Avis
that I use all the time because
I can just ask it any fitness or health questions.
I mean every new user gets it for free
to try it out for an entire year.
And like I said, I love it
because I can do so much with it,
including having it build me a weekly workout plan
based on my goal,
which really is to just build muscle up
and train three times a week at least.
And it came up with the perfect plan
based on my body analysis,
telling me what exercises to do and how to do them.
That came in really handy.
And it didn't stop there too
because I could also log my food
to just make sure my diet's solid
and I can see what nutrients I'm getting every day,
even by just taking a picture of what I'm eating.
It was really that easy.
I can also have it track my heart rate,
a lot of it too, my sleep patterns, skin temperature,
blood oxygen, and even my respiratory rate
so I know exactly how well I'm recovering
and my overall wellness.
And the core metrics are free too.
Plus even with all these measurements
and all these sensors constantly just monitoring
my health, the battery actually still lasts
a really long time on a single charge.
Up to 14 days.
Yeah, it's pretty amazing.
And I've honestly been loving using the Speedy
and Strap Pro on my wrist
because it just helped me be a lot healthier.
And I even lost a few pounds in the past month,
which is great too.
Next, if you miss the old days of taking pictures
with disposable cameras,
where you couldn't immediately check out the photo
every time you took it,
then you're probably gonna love this little camera
called Click going for around 70 bucks.
It's basically a modern digital version
of those old disposable cameras.
So there's no screen to preview your photos.
Instead, you just look through this peephole right here,
then you press the button at the top, and that's it.
You've taken your picture.
And what's really cool is that you can even
switch between three different filters
to just give your photos a different look.
It's even got a giant flash, too.
And then after you've taken your photos,
and you're ready to see how the pictures actually turned out,
you can literally just connect the camera to your phone
or your computer through a USB-C cable,
and then you can transfer everything over.
It's really that easy.
And I gotta say, I ended up capturing some pretty funny
and natural-looking shots.
Because I wasn't constantly checking the screen
or trying to get the perfect picture.
Now sure the image quality isn't going
to blow you away since it's only got an 8 megapixel sensor.
Especially at night it's not going to look that great.
But it still gives you that nostalgic feel
and keeps you in the moment instead of needing to
pull out your phone. And I
also do like that it adds a little suspense and surprise just
wondering how your picture is actually turned out.
Next, isn't it annoying when you need some AA batteries for a remote
but all you have lying around are AAA batteries?
Well for just five bucks you can pick up this little AAA
to AA battery adapters that solve that exact problem.
Basically you just slide a AAA battery inside
and it instantly becomes the same size as a regular AA battery.
And now you can use that remote control easily.
It's really great and it comes in a pack of 10 too so you get a lot.
And there are even other adapters too from the same manufacturer
like ones that turn AA batteries into the size of D batteries.
Pretty clever.
Okay, if you ride a scooter or a bike,
you've gotta check out this little gadget
called the Beeline Velo 2 going for around 99 bucks.
It's basically this tiny circular gadget
that you can attach to your handlebars
and it literally gives you a GPS navigation system
right there with turn-by-turn directions
so you know where to go.
You just connect it to your phone
and then in the app you can plan your route
and then it'll show you exactly where to go
on this little screen.
Or it even has a compass mode too
so it simply points an arrow toward your destination
letting you choose
Whichever roads that you want to take, and let's say you
accidentally took the wrong way or you missed your turn,
it'll automatically reroute you
so you know how to get to your final destination.
It's also weather sealed so you can ride around
in the rain and it won't get damaged,
and on top of that, you don't need internet too
so it works without needing internet.
So a lot of upsides.
The only downside though is that it runs off battery
so you'll have to charge it every so often
because it'll last around 11 hours when it's on.
But that's still not bad.
Now for the car, if you're having problems with it like
your check engine light just popped up and
you have no idea what's wrong,
you can get this little car scanner tool called the OBD Check
BLE going for around 32 bucks to see what's going on.
You just plug into your car's OBD2 port,
it's usually underneath your steering wheel,
and then once you see that it's on with the little
light you can connect it to your phone with bluetooth
and with their app it'll show you
the error codes and what they mean
and even let you clear them once you fix the problem.
That way you can show your mechanics
so they don't try to pull a fast one on you.
Plus it monitors other stuff too
on your car like the engine temperature,
RPM and other sensor readings
and I really love too that it works with most cars made
from 1996 and onwards
so I can just let my buddies use it and it'll work.
It's a really great tool that can save you a lot of money.
From there I have the smallest flashlight
that you can attach to your keychain called
the Olight i-mini 2 and it's really cool
and helpful because whenever you need light
you can just pull it off its magnetic base
and the light instantly turns on.
And once you're done with it, you can just snap it back onto
its base and it turns off instantly.
It's really great.
Plus, if you're wondering how it can get charged,
it's actually got a USB-A at the end of it
which you can just plug it straight into your laptop
or maybe your battery pack and you can charge it that way.
And by the way, don't let the size fool you
because it actually outputs a pretty decent amount of light,
50 lumens to be exact,
which is around the same brightness as your phone's LED flashlight.
And I'd say it's even the perfect backup plan
if you don't have your phone nearby or your phone is dead too.
Next, if you ever wondered how clean the air
is in your house in a particular room,
you can check out this Govee Life air quality monitor.
It's around 46 bucks and it's basically
this smart tiny display that you can just set on a table
and it keeps an eye out for three things.
The first is the amount of dust
and particles that are floating around the air, the second is the
temperature of the room, and the third is the humidity level.
What's really nice too is that
it updates every two seconds so it can tell you pretty quickly
when something changes in the air.
Honestly, it's really handy if you just wanna keep an eye
on the air that you're breathing every day.
From there, I've really been enjoying open-ear headphones
that you can just put inside your ears this tiny
because I can listen to music and I can walk around outside
and I won't block everything out too.
And my go-to has recently been these from CMF
called the Clip Pro headphones, going for around 94 bucks.
Unlike regular headphones that go inside your ears,
these clip onto the outside
so you can still hear everything around you
and you can still listen to your music.
They're also super lightweight at just 5.9 grams each
so you can wear them for hours without making them feel uncomfortable.
The case too I really like because it has a smart dial
that you can just turn to control your volume
or you can even tap on it or double press it to control your music.
The sound quality is also really nice especially for the price.
You get 10.8 millimeter drivers,
it supports high-res audio and spatial audio,
and you can also get up to 10 hours of continuous playback
on a single charge which honestly isn't bad at all.
So if you want to enjoy your music
while being aware of everything around you,
your surroundings, these are definitely worth checking out.
Now for over the year I've also been enjoying
these other ones from Nothing called the Headphone
One Pro. And I'll admit these are definitely
on the more expensive side going for around $400,
but I gotta say they're definitely
the coolest looking headphones that I've ever owned.
They got that signature transparent design which Nothing is known for,
and it's also made out of some premium
materials too, titanium and glass.
That just makes it feel really nice when you wear them.
And by far, one of my favorite things about them
is actually the physical controls of the headphones.
There's this little roller that you can spin
to adjust the volume, or you can press it
to play or pause your music
or change the noise cancellation.
There's even this little paddle that you can just flick
to skip or rewind tracks, that one's nice.
It's just super easy to modify the sound on my phone
without needing to pull it out.
And what's really interesting about these two
is that instead of using one speaker driver in each ear cup,
These actually have three separate drivers to handle the bass,
vocals, and higher frequencies.
So you do get some really detailed sound.
The only thing is that out of the box
the sound quality isn't going to be the most accurate
and that's because nothing actually made
their own unique sound profile which a lot of people
have actually been complaining about saying
that the bass can be a little overpowering
or the vocals don't always sound quite right.
Personally, I didn't really find that to be too much of a problem,
especially since I could just jump into the app
and tweak the sound however I like.
But really my biggest complaint is definitely this carrying case.
It's just a really awkward design
and it doesn't even really fully protect the headphones itself
like the top of the headset.
It can still get damaged and I get that they wanted to make it
like a little carrying case kind of like a purse
but still it would have also been nice to have
pass-through charging as well.
But other than that I do like these headphones. I mean they look clean
and yeah 400 bucks they're obviously not for everyone
but they're out there if you're interested.
Alright, this next one is honestly super cool.
It's a heads-up display for your car that only costs around $16
and it literally projects your speed right onto your windshield.
So, instead of glancing down at your dashboard,
you can just see your speed floating right in front
of you just like something out of a luxury vehicle.
Now, the only small downside about this is that it doesn't need
to be plugged into your car's port.
There's no built-in battery,
but you can hide the cable
or if you don't mind it at all, it's honestly worth it.
I've been testing it out and it's
honestly both practical and fun to use.
Plus it automatically adjusts the brightness
so it stays visible during the day but it doesn't blind you at night.
Not bad for 16 bucks and it definitely adds
that futuristic touch to your car setup.
And by far my favorite tech item on this entire list is this retro
18 mechanical numpad from 8bitdo going for around 45 bucks.
I mean, just look at this thing.
It's basically a wireless number pad and calculator combined
and it has this old-school Nintendo NES controller vibe.
I love it because I can just pull it out
and do some quick calculations whenever I need.
And then I can send those calculations over to my computer.
It's really convenient.
Plus these keys too are mechanical switches.
So every press feels and sounds super satisfying.
You can see there, it sounds great.
So it adds a nice little touch to your office setup.
Anyway, those are 20 of the best tech items
you'd actually wanna buy.
Here's the previous episode if you wanna watch that
and keep watching to see other cool gadgets
I've found in the past.
And if one of these even caught your eye,
just drop a quick thumbs up to help me out with this video.
Thanks so much for sticking around to the end
and I'll catch you guys in the next one.
Kapow!
