Weekend weather improves for Connecticut

Check of the weather. We had our eye on some wet weather today. Kind of a soggy way to end the week. Is it going to stretch far into the weekend? There could be some showers into our Saturday, but beyond that, we're looking pretty nice. All things considered, we're going to be seeing some of those showers, anything that's lingering. Most of them have cleared out, but any of those last stubborn showers will be moving out over the next few hours. And as we head into tonight, but we've seen quite a bit of rain in some areas that we saw sort of fall over a shorter period of time. We had that repeated rounds, but there were a couple drenching showers that moved through that brought us not only that thunder, but also some of those areas of downpours. Now, not major rain estimates. Most around an inch. If that other areas like near Ridgefield only seeing about a quarter of an inch, but some areas near Stamford, Stamford and Bridgeport saw over an inch. Now here's the thing. We do have that shower chance as we get into our tomorrow, but we'll be drying out. Majority of our Saturday is dry and then Sunday is dry too.
