With stories that matter to you, this is Fox 6 News at 9.
He's a Disney ride operator, the Slinky Dog roller coaster.
He wanted to have sex with a 14-year-old boy.
I think he was a Slinky Dog myself.
Now on Fox 6 News at 9, a Disney employee reportedly
from Fond du Lac busted in Florida in a sex sting.
The allegations that are new tonight.
This is 31 months later,
and Shawnee is still continuing to solve her own case.
More closure coming in the Shawnee Robinson
disappearance and dismemberment case.
The new remains discovered just days ago.
And controversial plans to fix
the busted Grafton Bridge Street Dam are put on hold.
Why salamanders and frogs may be to blame.
A big story tonight at 9.
Missing for seven months,
a Milwaukee man is found dead in a vehicle in a garage in Grafton.
It's a case investigators call unusual.
Christina Van Zelst is here to explain why.
Ben and Kim, the biggest question tonight is,
was there foul play involved?
Was his death suspicious?
That's something police can't say, but here's what we do know.
Tuesday, Grafton police responded to the Seasons apartment complex
after maintenance staff working in the garage found
a deceased person inside a vehicle.
Investigators say 26-year-old Juan Camilo Trujillo Nino
was found in the driver's seat deceased.
Family told Milwaukee police they last heard from him in late March.
Then in early May, the Milwaukee...
Milwaukee Police Department sent out
a missing endangered persons alert.
Investigators say there are no cameras inside the garage
and they are waiting the medical
examiner's toxicology report and cause of death.
It appears he has been there for longer than just a few days.
That is a complex matter for our detectives to work on.
That long of a time being missing,
there's a lot of unanswered questions in the meantime
That they need to figure out to find out exactly what happened.
So many questions still unanswered.
We did ask if Camilo Trujillo Nino had any connection to the apartments
and what he was doing in Grafton, police wouldn't say.
Ben and Kim, back to you.
Yeah, so many unanswered questions there.
We'll keep following.
Christina, thanks.
Well, years after she was killed and dismembered,
new remains have been found in the Shawnee Robinson
case. The 19-year-old died in 2024 following a first date.
Part of Robinson's jaw and some teeth
were found in Ornemont Park.
A person walking the beach made the discovery Friday. The medical
examiner confirmed they are Robinson's remains.
Parts of her body had previously been found
across Milwaukee County, including at that park.
Her skull remains missing.
Robinson's mother spoke today saying that their family continues
to deal with their grief of this case on a day to day basis.
This has been traumatic. We want my baby's crown.
I still don't have my baby's crown. My beautiful angel.
Family and volunteers will continue their search for more
of Robinson's remains, trying to find her skull.
They'll be back out at the park on Sunday.
They say that search will continue beyond Sunday as well.
Maxwell Anderson was convicted for Robinson's death
and was sentenced to life in prison in 2025.
Police in Fond du Lac are investigating
a reported threat of a mass shooting involving a teen.
And police say that someone outside
the United States actually submitted the tip about
concerning online interactions with a 15-year-old suspect.
Last week, authorities searched the suspect's home
and seized multiple firearms, a computer, and a cell phone.
Police aren't elaborating on where the reported threat was targeted.
Cudahy High School called off classes today after
a social media threat about a school
shooting. Investigators traced it back to a student in Tucson,
Arizona, who allegedly
created the threat on November 2nd.
Police in Tucson did arrest that student. Cudahy
officers increased security at the high school
while they were looking into the post.
New at night, a petition
to remove New Berlin's Mayor Dave Ament from office.
That was the only item on the agenda
at a special meeting tonight at the Common Council.
Our Abril Preciado was there. Abril,
the Common Council spent most of tonight's meeting behind closed doors.
That's right. Council members met in closed session
with legal counsel to discuss how to handle petition calling
for Mayor Dave Ament to be removed from office.
This all comes after a series of anti-Muslim and controversial
posts surfaced on Mayor Dave Ament's personal Facebook page.
Those posts sparked outrage, pushing many residents
and advocacy groups to formally petition for his removal.
While Ament publicly apologized, folks say that's not enough.
And while not as many people attended Thursday's meeting,
folks tell me they haven't forgotten about this.
They say they are closely watching what the city does next.
So he is not he is really not someone that should be serving as mayor
of a community that includes Muslims because they don't feel safe.
And so he should do the decent thing and resign.
Tonight's meeting lasted less than an hour.
While no immediate decision
was announced regarding the mayor's removal,
council members provided the following update
before wrapping up the meeting for the night.
Take a listen.
I'd like to make a motion.
It's in four parts.
I direct the Council, direct the President of the Common Council
to provide charges to the Mayor with accompanying letter regarding
the process, copy to the Petitioner and the Charging Party.
Second, to limit scope of hearing to Charge 3,
as Charges 1 and 2 are currently in litigation.
And we did ask the city for more context regarding those charges
and the removal process,
but we were told they can comment,
but that more details will be made to the public
during the upcoming hearings,
and those are scheduled for December 1st and 2nd.
We also reached out to Mayor Ament for comment,
but we have not heard back yet.
In the newsroom, Abril Preciado, Fox 6 News.
All right, April, thanks.
Let's turn to the weather now.
Let's take a live look outside where it was kind of misty
when I went on my dinner break there
and temperatures are dropping. Let's go to Holly
Baker. Hey, Holly. Hey, yes, temperatures are dropping.
But to be honest with you,
temperatures haven't dropped too much from just
a couple of hours ago when we were running our
newscast, but they will continue to drop as we head overnight.
We are still seeing the cooler air.
Start to settle even more out to our west, looking
at about 28 here in Bismarck, 37 in Sioux Falls, 45 in Des Moines.
Now, what's crazy is in the summertime, you see Sioux Falls,
North Platte, all those areas are much warmer than us.
And here they are colder than we are because we're
at 45 here in Milwaukee and even closer to home.
We're all still flirting with the 40s.
Some areas closer to the lower 40s at this point, but still in the 40s.
We'll be in the 30s for some areas over the next couple of hours.
And then after...
Midnight. That's when we'll start to see 30s here in Milwaukee.
Looking at our satellite and radar and we have started
to clean up even nicer. We do have that strong flow from the north.
So that's bringing in some of that cooler air for us.
But at least we don't have to worry about any rain.
Maybe a little more drizzle could happen overnight.
Otherwise, though, we are going to be trending drier.
Speaking of which, even up to midnight, this is a look here.
Just going to keep those clouds around.
We also will have those temperatures around the 40s.
And then after midnight again,
that's when we'll start to see 30s here in Milwaukee.
Milwaukee will see temperatures dropping to the 30s.
Wind does stay from the north at about 13 miles per hour,
really roughly in between 10 to 15, so we will keep that breeze around.
Definitely you want to keep those jackets around
because you're going to be needing those.
We'll talk about those temperatures
and how much more they'll change coming up.
Back to you at the desk.
Holly, we'll see you soon.
You can track the weather anywhere,
anytime at the Fox 6 Storm Center app.
We have the best radar in town,
and you can get severe weather alerts based off your location.
Best of all, the app is free.
The Wisconsin Department of Natural Services.
Health Services, I should say, says infant has died from the measles.
It's the first measles death reported in Wisconsin since 1990.
As of this week, state health officials say there have
been 431 measles cases across 13
counties this year.
It's the highest number of cases in more than 35 years.
State health officials say measles is one
of the most contagious infections known.
And while there are vaccines to prevent the spread.
Not enough people are getting them.
In Wisconsin,
our kindergarten MMR vaccination rate is now approximately 85%
compared to about 92% nationally.
Both of those figures are well below the roughly 95% coverage needed
to prevent measles from spreading readily through a population.
And that's really the central issue here.
Measles is now spreading because there are enough people
who are susceptible to infection
for the virus to continue finding new hosts.
Measles can cause life-threatening health complications such
as pneumonia and brain swelling.
Children under five, those that are pregnant
or have compromised immune systems,
are at a greater risk of complications.
Milwaukee Public Schools will do a redo on bids
for the demolition of Lincoln Avenue School
after it originally chose a much more expensive bid.
Fire destroyed the school in June.
In July, the city determined the building...
Has to come down. Fox 6 reported on Monday
that the district had first picked a bid millions of
dollars more than a local bid.
The district was planning to contract with TW Chicago for roughly
4.8 million dollars,
but Milwaukee-based MRD Group says their proposal was rejected and was
much cheaper, coming in at 928,000 dollars.
The MRD Group officially appealed the district's
And today, MPS says it has agreed to restart the bidding process.
process. We just saw that single contract page for the total number
and that's when we said
hold on a second this is not an almost five million dollar job
and our bid we didn't undercut
our numbers majorly we're logistically 10 minutes from the job site
so it makes sense that our bid
would be more competitive just due to logistics.
Thinking about taxpayer money are you concerned
that the original pick
was several million dollars more than than another?
Yeah, I think you know we worked with our insurance company
and so the insurance company was working to pay for that funding
so that wouldn't have been a loss to the district just
so that the public knows that that 4.7 was the negotiated rate
with the insurance company to pay that.
The new bidding process will start next week,
and NPS says it hopes to decide on the contractor
in the first week of December,
and demolition to start after signing the contract.
NPS says it expects demolition will be finished by the end of March.
Well, just days after winning the governor's race,
David Crowley facing some new scrutiny.
And not for the election,
but a surprise multi-million dollar budget hole in the county budget.
The error the county executive learned about a couple weeks ago.
But that county supervisors are only learning about now.
Plus a dam in Grafton is busted
and we're learning there's been a setback in fixing it.
What's crawled into the nearby mud that's delaying the project.
We're back in 60 seconds.
Watching Fox 6 News with Ben Handelman and Kim Murphy.
Milwaukee Public Schools lost hundreds
of thousands of dollars in a scam and knew tonight
what happened to the district's chief financial officer.
The district initially lost $450,000
to a bank impersonation scam.
MPS says it recovered more than half of that money,
but it is still trying to get back the remaining $195,000.
The superintendent says they learned
of bank fraud Monday and then appointed an acting CFO on Tuesday.
So what happened to the actual chief financial officer?
Fox 6 political reporter Jason Calvi is asking questions.
Where is the chief financial officer right now?
I don't know where she is right now.
I mean, is she still with the district?
She is still with the district.
We're finishing our investigation, and then we'll make determinations.
So is she on, like, a leave then?
She is currently not with the district,
and we are looking and finishing our investigation right now.
So is it linked with the fraud, linked with the CFO's office?
Well, I can't speak to personnel matters, as you know,
but once that's finished, we will make sure
that we are transparent in that process
and give everybody information about the investigation, what we found,
and what new controls are putting in place.
Conflicting answers there, but we've
learned she is still with the district.
Hitesa served as CFO since September of 2024.
She was brought in to help fix money mismanagement issues.
But Fox 6 investigators obtained records showing MPS had
earlier raised concerns about Sava's past performance.
Well, the Milwaukee County Board passed the county budget today
with a multi-million dollar hole in it.
As Bill Miston explains, the gap was identified more than two
weeks ago, but supervisors only learned about it yesterday.
We literally have not gone one day into 2027.
And we're ready to have to solve a problem.
Totaling more than $4.5 million.
17 county supervisors voted in favor
of passing the budget with the whole.
One didn't.
We were told that it was sound.
Then on the day we adopted this budget,
we learned that the numbers were wrong.
The county's budget director says automated calculations caused the gap
and was discovered on October 20th.
So the county executive office didn't know that day.
Correct. The conversation was had over the last couple
of weeks as we worked to find solutions.
We continue to review the budget materials.
On October 30th, the director went before the finance committee
to make technical corrections, but no mention of the error.
The decision was mine to work with the county chair of finance,
and that's where the decision was made.
The county chair of finance said he
didn't learn about this until yesterday.
That's correct.
The day after, County Executive David Crowley won
the election to be Wisconsin's next governor.
The timing, you had to wait less than 24 hours after
an election to give the solutions.
They found this out two weeks ago.
Finance Chair Steve Taylor says
that provided plenty of time to find a solution.
In a memo, possible offsets are prescription drug rebates,
remaining cash on hand for finished projects,
and savings through the department budgets.
Those are really not solutions. Those are hypotheticals.
In a statement, a spokesperson
for the county executive said there's no cover-up.
The budget process uncovered an error
that affected less than 0.3 percent of the 2027
recommended budget, investigated the cause,
corrected it, and identified and presented
solutions ahead of the vote to adopt.
County supervisors are now calling for a full accounting
from the budget office of what happened.
In Milwaukee, Bill Miston, Fox 6 News.
With nine plans to repair,
Grafton's Bridge Street Dam put on hold because of...
Get this, amphibians.
The village says the DNR reviewed the dewatering
and dam gate repair plans,
but they found because of amphibians are digging
into the impoundments area for the winter, you know, getting ready.
They will not be allowed to refill until the spring of 2027.
That's when the repairs will resume.
The dam's hydraulic lift arm failed in May.
That's caused water upstream of the dam to drain down several feet.
Now, I've got questions I'm going to get answered.
Yes.
Are we talking salamanders?
Or frogs.
Or frogs.
I'm going to go with frogs.
I did look.
There's lots of amphibians, actually, in Wisconsin.
Mud salamanders, I think, is.
There's a possibility, because they're...
Maybe it's a mission we should go on this weekend.
See what's...
It's probably a simple email to the captain
that I didn't have time to make today.
But I'm going to get there.
I'm going to get the answers for the people.
We need to know what kind of amphibians
are delaying our dam projects around here.
A little science exploration.
I don't know, Holly.
Because it is getting cold overnight,
and so everybody's trying to get inside.
Oh, yeah.
Including underground.
Yeah, or underground, wherever just where you're
not in the way of all of the cold weather, guys.
Now, it's not cold.
You know, I probably shouldn't even say cold
because last year I was saying it was cold and people was like,
oh, you just wait till winter.
I was in for a rude awakening.
So we're going to say chilly.
All right, it is chilly. It's been chilly all day. Temperature is going
to drop and it's still going to be a little more on the cooler side.
Not necessarily cold just yet. We got to 54 degrees today, though.
40s was what our temperatures were this morning.
We're back to where we were kind of this morning,
45, but it does feel cooler outdoors.
Feels like 39 degrees outdoors with dew points at 39.
And then our wind is from the north at about 12 miles per hour.
Now, looking at those temperatures across southeast Wisconsin here,
what you're noticing is that we're
We're still flirting with the 40s
and boy are those temperatures friendly out there
with those 40s.
We've been in the 40s for a really long time,
at least over the past four hours, we've been
in the 40s and we're not really going to get
to the 30s for Milwaukee's area until after
midnight.
Some of our areas further out to the northwest like Juneau,
West Bend could even see 40s
or 30s, excuse me.
Over the next couple of hours,
they're just one to two degrees away from that.
So we're just going to be waiting and seeing here in Milwaukee.
We got a little more time, though, but it will get colder tonight.
30s is what it'll be when you wake up tomorrow
and then we warm up to the 40s.
Now we warm up to the 40s tomorrow.
That's going to be our coldest day out of the week.
And I say coldest because it is cooler than all of the other days
that we're going to be seeing over the weekend and next week.
All of that.
It's because of a cold front.
You see this cold front here?
It's made it over the lake really into Michigan now.
And it had all of that messy weather with it.
So all of those showers and the mist that we were seeing earlier
and then last night a little bit,
that was all associated with that cold front.
Now that the cold front's passed,
we're starting to see a little bit more of the clearing behind it.
We got a high pressure parked out to our far northwest corner.
So that is what's going to bring in that drier weather for us,
especially as we head.
For the weekend and even into next week,
let's even take a deeper dive here on our Sky Vision Plus.
So we go throughout tonight.
What you're noticing here is that we could have more
of those clouds to kind of stick around even after midnight.
Heading into Friday's forecast,
we kind of start today off with a little more of the sunshine.
But then we start to get more of those clouds coming back
for the afternoon with some peaks of sunshine.
Pay attention to these little arrows here, too.
Those arrows indicate that the wind is
It's coming from the north.
You know what that means?
Anything coming from the north is going to bring in cooler air.
And that is why our Friday's day,
as far as the highs, are going to be the lowest.
48 degrees is what we're talking for a high temperature.
We're talking 30s for low temperature.
And even Friday night.
20s. We can expect 20s for Friday night.
Not sure why it's actually changing there,
but overall pretty much the same numbers is what you're seeing.
We will keep the sunshine around
as well. We get back to the 60s as we head towards next week
and then for Veterans Day as I move out
the way here on Wednesday, we could have a slight chance
for rain that comes back into the area, but
we get through tonight and then we head
into tomorrow with the cooler air. We're going to
have a better setup over the weekend
with warmer temperatures as well as more sunshine. Back to
Holly, thanks. Democrats got the blue wave they were hoping for,
but soon it's time to get to work.
The impending unity test that is coming for members of the party.

Democrats will control Congress in the new year,
but now they must figure out how to govern.
They did not run on a specific platform except for affordability
and holding the Trump administration accountable.
Fox's Chad Pergram looks at what's ahead
for the Democratic Congress and what it can accomplish.
Democrats ran on one policy.
Lower costs for American families.
We campaigned as affordability Democrats.
However, Democrats have a host
of ideas about what they want to vote on.
We have to first get in there
and really focus on rolling back the cuts from the one big ugly bill.
Expect votes renewing expired Obamacare subsidies,
central to last year's government shutdown.
The shutdown sharpened the American people's view of the distinction.
Between the parties on this crucial issue.
Democrats want to rein in AI and data centers,
concerned that the technology threatens jobs.
This revolt against data centers are just the initial tremors
of a bigger AI earthquake that is upending American politics.
Newcomers pushing votes to end the war in Iran and slash fuel costs.
We have a mandate to pass a war powers resolution
to restrain further hostilities in Iran.
Republicans balked at unwinding Trump-imposed tariffs,
but Democrats believe the election shifted that dynamic.
This is the time for them to show the courage
to end this irrational and self-defeating tariff regime
that Trump has put into place.
However, some Republicans aren't ready
to abandon their old playbook.
I think, you know, the tax cuts and the big, beautiful bill.
We're underappreciated by the electorate.
President Trump is threatening to deploy
his veto pen on Democratic measures.
It's his choice to sign him or veto him.
Democrats could command nearly 260 House seats
and at least 54 Senate seats.
It takes 290 House votes and 67 Senate votes to override a veto.
Democrats believe that some Republicans could see
an override as a way to break from President Trump.
On Capitol Hill, Chad Pergram, Fox News.
Yesterday, the administrator at Union Grove High School was arrested.
And today, he's charged.
Prosecutors say they found child porn on his phone,
but that's not what investigators
were looking for when they seized his phone.
The alleged affair that put him on the radar.
And police say a woman delivering ice cream
was using her young child to dupe her customer.
The head-scratching heist in Wisconsin caught on camera.
Watching Fox 6 News with Ben Handelman and Kim Murphy.
The Union Grove school administrator was arrested yesterday.
Today, he's charged with two counts of possession of child pornography.
Our reporter in Kenosha County, Ben Hansen, has
the new court documents shedding new light on the case.
Two charges of child pornography have now
been officially filed against Union Grove
School Administrator Thomas Johnson.
Search warrants show that this entire investigation
was triggered by an anonymous letter sent
to Union Grove School District leadership
and Johnson's wife on October 21st.
The authors saying in this letter they found what they thought
were inappropriate messages and photos between Johnson
and past and current students on his phone.
This is where investigators would
eventually find the child pornography,
but police didn't say whether these images were of students.
The author of the letter also saying
they've been having an affair with Johnson for several years.
When police interviewed Johnson
on October 23rd and 26th, he admitted to having
an affair with a teacher at Union Grove Elementary
School for six years. He also said he didn't know who wrote the letter.
When investigators talked to
the woman that Johnson had been having an affair with,
she indicated she didn't write the letter.
In the letter, the author said Johnson would fire them
if they told anyone about the texts
and photos to students on his phone.
It also details marital problems between Johnson
and his wife and that he is a quote, very
heavy drinker.
The woman also said she didn't know about
Johnson's personal life or drinking habits.
In the warrant, the investigator said he believes
that this woman may have written the letter
and that she was not being forthcoming.
Union Grove principal Tom Blair has stepped in as acting school
administrator and Johnson is expected in court on November 12th.
In Kenosha County, Ben Hansen, Fox 6 News.
A man who used to live in Fond du Lac is one
of 281 people arrested as part of a human
trafficking sting in Florida.
That's according to the Polk County Sheriff's Office. Video released
by the department shows Colin Gormican being taken
into custody in his Disney World work
uniform. Video even shows his name tag showing Fond du Lac on it.
He's a Disney ride operator, the Slinky Dog Roller Coaster.
Now, that just sounds nasty to me, but okay.
He wanted to have sex with a 14-year-old boy.
I think he was a Slinky Dog myself.
He wanted to have perverted sex.
And once again, we can't talk about all the language,
but keep in mind, part of their
Infatuation is to describe what it
is that they want to do with the children.
Hold on.
And when we were dealing with this undercover,
and we made it abundantly clear that I'm only 14,
he said, well, I'm inclusive of everybody.
He was so excited he didn't even bother taking
his work uniform off before he showed up.
Investigators say 31 of those individuals
were arrested as child sexual predators,
while more than 230 others face prostitution and trafficking charges.
17 people told detectives they work at local theme parks,
including Disney World and Universal Studios.
New at 9, the retired West Allis firefighter accused
of trying to kill his wife inside their town of Grafton home
was found guilty at trial today.
Guy Pater was found guilty on two charges,
including attempted homicide.
Prosecutors say he shot his wife multiple times after
an officer kicked in their bedroom door.
Happened in October of 2025, the same day she filed for divorce.
She had serious injuries.
Peter will be sentenced in December.
Madison police are asking people to come forward after at least eight
people reported being drugged at a UW-Madison frat house last week.
Police became aware through an anonymous tip.
Investigators, they're still trying to track down people
who are directly involved here.
Police say students should not be afraid to come forward,
even if they were drinking underage.
The university is also looking into the allegations.
We do have an amnesty policy that even if they
were underage drinking, we look at the
greater concern of what was occurring
and the fact that somebody may have potentially
have been drugged without their knowledge is more concerning
and we would rather focus
on that than the fact that somebody
who was underage was having a beverage.
UW-Madison is conducting its own investigation through
the Office of Student Conduct and
Community Standards. Police in Madison
are also investigating a vandalism spree at a local food
pantry. It happened sometime late Tuesday night,
maybe early Wednesday morning. This is at the
Second Harvest. The suspects caused tens
of thousands of dollars in damages. Windows and
doors were broken. Two vehicles were damaged.
Look at that. And a box truck was destroyed by fire.
Second Harvest had to cancel two days of volunteer shifts,
losing about 200 hours of help.
A brazen heist involving
a food delivery driver caught on camera in Green Bay.
Police releasing this video from an incident back in June.
Not sure why now, but you can see a car pulls up,
a woman gets out, and a kid.
She was delivering an order of ice cream.
It's believed the child took a picture of the delivery.
They go back to the car, and then seconds later,
it's like, oh, on second thought,
the kid runs back and takes the ice cream.
Okay, police are asking the public to help identify the woman.
Maybe it was the wrong delivery.
Maybe they're like, oh, no, wrong house.
I think you go in the app that didn't say that, right?
The fact that you took the picture and then immediately stole the food?
Okay, I was...
You're like, oh, we dropped it off.
I'm trying to think better of my fellow man.
It's like, they've got a ring doorbell camera busted.
Oh, boy.
Well, for the third day in a row,
bomb threats are forcing emergency landings in Europe.
The threats have targeted at least 14 different flights.
In response to one flight, Italian fighter jets
were scrambled to escort a flight traveling from Helsinki.
Intelligence agencies are investigating whether it's a hoax.
Or something more serious.
Some are suggesting adversaries like Russia
or Iran could be behind the threats.
And that's something the Trump
administration has warned about in the past.
That's one of the risks of a stalemated conflict is escalation.
And escalation can take the form of irregular attacks
or irregular events.
So that's something I raised a couple
weeks ago and we're watching that closely.
I think with Iran and UK, what the UK has said
is that the Iranians were behind the plot to attack the airbase.
Right now, the U.K. government is describing the incidents as,
quote, malicious hoax threats.

All right, here's a sign of the holiday season.
The city of Milwaukee harvesting its Christmas tree.
This happened early this morning.
The Sun family donated the beautiful 40-foot Colorado blue spruce.
Bango's there. The tree now stands tall in the Deer District.
A tree lighting ceremony will be
Friday, November 20th. They transform it to the Cheer District.
Perfect, I love it. Well,
the search for a quick weight loss fix could come with hidden dangers.
Why experts are issuing a new
warning about buying popular GLP-1 drugs online
and a freak incident and a man lucky, what,
to be alive. What led up
to a runaway wheel hitting a man on the sidewalk?
And we have beautiful weather to be on the way.
I will highlight all of those details coming up.
Right now, a hawk
in Virginia needed a little TLC
after eating too much dinner.
Yeah, she was found in someone's driveway, couldn't fly.
They took her to the wildlife center.
She was checked, you know, what's wrong with her?
No medical issues.
They weighed her and realized she's basically too fat to fly.
It all made sense when the wildlife group was told
that a neighbor's free-range chickens had been disappearing.
Yikes.
The hawk is now on a weight-loss diet.
Sometimes your eyes are bigger than your belly.
I get it.
Yeah.
Bingo, Care Bears, the Pokemon trading card game,
and the classic playground slide have all made it
into the National Toy Hall of Fame's 2026 class.
Wow, I'm wondering what took some of these so long.
The winners emerged from a field of 12 finalists.
Other contenders include Bop It,
Tickle Me Elmo didn't make it, are you kidding me?
Wow, still not in there, huh?
Yahtzee and the board game Sorry, anyone could nominate any toy,
but the ones that make it into the hall must be considered iconic.
That means they engaged multiple generations.
Sorry, foster creativity or profoundly changed play or toy design.
There is an actual Toy Hall of Fame exhibit
at the National Museum of Play in Rochester, New York.
My daughter tonight said, will you please get me some Pokemon cards?
She's never asked that.
What do you do with those?
I know.
You just collect them?
You just need a Charizard.
Is that one?
Let's ask the Miz.
I know he's really into it.
Yeah, exactly.
Hollywood, did that cross your childhood?
Oh, yeah.
Look, I'm old school.
Mancala.
That's what you bring out for me.
Mancala.
I can play chess.
Oh, chess.
Checkers.
Checkers.
I hope they're in there.
Monopoly.
Monopoly.
Candyland.
Wow, those are old school.
Yeah.
And Operation.
But I think Operation made it.
Oh, Operation was really good.
Yeah, I love Operation.
And Connect Four.
Oh, I am the queen at Connect Four.
I don't think no one in this building could beat me in Connect Four.
Okay, the challenge accepted.
We're going to have to do that.
Okay.
All right, guys.
This is one thing that's not playing any games,
and this is cold weather, okay?
We do have cooler temperatures that will be moving through
our area really consistently throughout the night.
I mean, we got to 54 degrees today.
Our low temperatures this morning was at 47,
because we're kind of right where we need to be,
though, as far as those high temperatures.
We've been a little warmer overnight.
We're at 47 or excuse me, not 47.
We're at 45 degrees for our temperatures right now. And then
our dew points are at 39 as well as what it feels like outdoors.
And the reason we are starting to feel that wind chill.
It's because we've got a northerly flow
of the wind at about 12 miles per hour.
So with that being said,
with the wind coming from the north and a little bit of a breeze,
just keep that in mind.
Tonight and even when you wake up tomorrow morning,
it's going to likely feel cooler than what the actual temperature is.
We're still holding steady in the 40s for all
of our areas across southeast Wisconsin.
We're ranging as low as 40 degrees.
High as 45, and that's in Milwaukee.
We've got one area that has made it to the 30s already,
and that is West Bend, right at 39.
Everybody else will start to fall more into the 30s,
especially after midnight.
That is when we'll start to see that trending.
So when you wake up tomorrow morning,
this temperature trend is specifically for Milwaukee.
We will be waking up in the 30s.
You wonder why, right?
Well, we had a low pressure that was in the area yesterday.
That was causing all the messy rain, and then it wrapped around,
you remember, and it gave us the rain today.
Just kind of recapping your brain as all this kind of unfolds.
We got the cold front that has now finally passed our area.
Behind that cold front is where you're seeing all of the drier air.
And look.
Look at there. Snow in Marquette. Let's keep it in Marquette, okay?
They've been getting a little bit more of that lake effect snow.
That won't be something that we'll worry about for our area.
We are going to continue to stay dry.
As you see, a high pressure just parked off to our far northwest.
That right there is going to be what provides us
with the sunshine over the weekend as well.
Let's take a look here on our Sky Vision Plus.
So, we go throughout the rest of tonight,
keeping conditions nice and quiet for the most part.
Could see maybe a few lingering showers.
Otherwise, though, no trouble is going to be caused.
Heading into Friday, we could get a little bit
of sunshine and start of the day.
Then those clouds kind of start to come back towards the afternoon.
And we could get some peaks of sunshine within
those clouds before the sun goes down.
But it's mainly going to be pretty cloudy for Friday.
A little bit better with improvements heading into Saturday.
Still keeping some clouds around,
but we'll get our mixture of sunshine.
Now, as we head towards Saturday night, same situation.
That is going to be where temperatures are getting...
Even cooler, or really Friday night into Saturday morning
is when temperatures are going to be cooler as far as lows.
But then we start to warm up on Saturday,
but then we've got another cooler night ahead of us here.
Here's a look at the six-day planner,
so you'll see exactly what I'm talking about.
Tonight we get to the 30s, and then as we head into Friday's forecast,
so for tomorrow, we'll be tonight in the 30s,
highs in the 40s for Friday, Friday night into early Saturday.
20s. So we could see some nights where freezing
and frost could be possible. So with that being
said, don't forget, don't leave the pets outdoors.
You may need to start looking at what plants you
have outdoors that you may need to bring in over the weekend
because we get another Saturday night
where it's going to be cold and near freezing as well.
Now we warm up during the day in the 50s,
get to the 60s by the beginning of next week.
And all of this is going to be with a mixture
of sunshine and clouds.
And then that slight chance of rain comes for our Veterans Day forecast
So we've got a lot of weather going on,
but most importantly, a great weekend ahead of us here.
Back to you at the desk.
I'm excited to see the sun again. Thanks, Holly.
The National Weather Service calls it a catastrophic flooding event.
Towns along the Georgia-Tennessee border are completely shut
down after being hit with historic levels of high water.
Fox's Grinnell Scott has more on the devastation
and the countless rescues.
I've never seen flooding like this in my life.
The damage is being called catastrophic.
Along the Georgia-Tennessee border, nine inches of rain fell overnight.
That led the Ocoee River to crest at 18 feet, a new record,
sending water flowing into McKaysville,
Georgia, and Copper Hill, Tennessee.
Both cities are now shut down.
Residents have been ordered to evacuate and stay away,
but some didn't leave fast enough.
The sheriff's deputies knocked on the front door and said,
You need to evacuate now,
but by the time my wife got dressed and I got the animals,
They had to send a boat for us.
Dozens of boat rescues have been reported
as first responders scramble to clear the area.
Police say they are now going door to door,
making sure trapped residents get to safety.
But with the flooding still near record levels, it won't be easy.
There's still places inside the city that we cannot get to,
but we're trying to get, you know, as you see,
the Blackhawk and other things there,
put eyes in the sky so we can see what's going on.
It's still far too early to assess the damage,
but it will be extensive.
In addition to the water, residents are reporting significant damage
to both personal and public property.
And it's not clear how long the recovery effort will take.
We've got motorcycles underwater, cars underwater.
Every one of the shops in McKaysville is underwater.
So I imagine they'll be closed for quite a while.
Keep us in your prayers.
And the flood threat now shifts to the coast, the storm system
bringing heavy rain to parts of the northeast and mid-Atlantic.
Grinnell Scott, Fox News.
We are following breaking news from out west.
This is the scene in Colorado now.
There has been a police shooting in the suburb of Denver.
The suburb is Lakewood.
Sources tell our Fox station out there,
Fox 31, that several officers were shot.
Police have not confirmed that or the severity of their injuries.
But you're taking a look
at some aerial shots there outside of a hospital
where you saw a number of police officers gathered there.
We can gather from that that this is where those officers
who were wounded have been transported.
We're watching the situation.
We're told our Fox station there was told that a car crashed into a bus
and then there was gunfire.
The circumstances, again, we are still waiting
for more information as well as a possible news conference,
but a police shooting out there, a suburb of Denver,
and police now are gathering outside of a hospital there.
And we'll keep an eye on this and let you know
as we learn more information.
Actor Russell Brand is convicted of rape
and sexual assault in London today.
The jury found him guilty on one count of rape
and three counts of sexual assault involving four women.
He was acquitted on three other sex crime charges.
Brand has denied the allegations,
some of which date back more than 20 years ago.
He'll be sentenced on Monday.
Caught on camera, heart-stopping surveillance video out of Chile
captures the terrifying moment a runaway
car tire slammed into a young man
who was just walking down the sidewalk.
This is a miracle.
That 19-year-old walked away with only minor cuts and bruises.
Our cameras show the...
Whoa.
Oh, my gosh.
The loose wheel just flies off of the vehicle,
bounces across traffic, and knocks the guy off of his feet again.
Oh my, he's fine.
That tire was so high in the air, that's wild.
Nearly 200,000 air fryer ovens sold exclusively at Target.
They're being recalled after dozens of people reported suffering burns.
This is the Gourmet stainless steel digital air fryer ovens.
Federal regulators,
they warn that the oven doors can snap shut unexpectedly if bumped,
and that could be a burn hazard.
Gormia is giving out a free repair kit.
It includes an attachable doorstop.
With more people on or trying to get on GLP-1 drugs for weight loss,
medical experts are shining a light on common misconceptions.
And the warning signs about getting unapproved medications online.
Fox's Chris DiMeo has more from New York.
Right now, medical experts are working to dispel some
of the myths about GLP-1 drugs as more people get their hands on them.
Analytics company Gallup conducted a web survey
of more than 5,000 adults earlier this year.
According to the data, 11% of U.S. adults are taking GLP-1 medications
for weight loss, a significant increase from just 3% back in 2024.
These medications were originally studied for diabetes,
and so they do lower blood glucose.
But out of those studies, we also saw the reduction in weight,
which is why they started being studied for weight loss.
Emily McCoy is an associate clinical professor at Auburn University.
She says one of the most common misconceptions about GLP-1 drugs
is that taking them is an easier path to weight loss.
If you do nothing else but take that medication,
you will see some benefit,
but you're going to have a lot more benefit
when you combine that with diet and exercise.
Guys.
Meanwhile, a word of caution for people looking
to get GLP-1 medications online.
We don't always know what you're getting when you buy it online.
So it has the name, but it may not be safe and accurate.
And there can also be dosing issues
because it tends to come compounded in a vial versus a pre-filled pen.
This as the Food and Drug Administration has recently issued
a list of telehealth red flags.
Citing what people looking to get compounded GLP-1s,
which are not FDA approved, should
be cautious of, including receiving meds without having a screening
or prescription, not having
access to a licensed doctor to ask questions after receiving
the drugs, and being offered
prices that are just too good to be true.
Chris DiMeo, Fox News.
Well, the long road to recovery continues
for people impacted by the Menasha tornado.
Some small businesses say they're still waiting
for insurance before they think about taking a loan.
But the Small Business Administration told Fox's Josh
Cavender they want people to know it is an option.
They had over 59 applicants so far, so the applications have
been growing from the past month that we've spoke.
The U.S. Small Business Administration is working with Fox Cities
businesses to give out loans to those that need financial aid.
The group has provided support
at the former UWO Fox Cities campus since last month.
SBA officials say the process is a simple way to get federal help.
They just have to have themselves, their person if they're going
to have a co-signer on the loan with them, and of course, their ID.
Chef Fresh Pizza in Menasha has been...
has been closed since the July tornado.
Its windows were blown out,
kitchen equipment damaged, and walls shifted.
Owner Scott Doran tells Fox 11 an SBA loan just isn't
on the table for the business right now.
The insurance company still hasn't paid out for the damages.
If they say, hey, it's going to cost $700,000
or $500,000 to rebuild this place,
oh yeah, you can give me a loan to do it,
but I've got to still tear the park down, the building down.
I've still got to come up with code.
I've still got to do a lot of other stuff.
And if their money's not there, I'm just paying on a loan now.
Businesses aren't covered under FEMA aid,
and Doran says he's hesitant to take funds donated from the community.
Some people lost their house and they lost their job
because their employer, their business was damaged, you know
So there are other people that are in worse situations than us.
So I don't want to just take the resources away from them.
You know, I don't want to be selfish like that.
It's still a long road for businesses recovering from damage dealt
by the July tornado in Menasha. Josh Cavender, Fox 11 News.
