So there's obviously another guy now
that is in a conversation for some teams to take a look at
here, a Japanese player, Soto.
Who do you think is the front runner? Maybe give me your top three
teams on where you can see him landing.
I know that Seattle has a Japanese ownership too. Maybe
that's something to keep an eye on.
The Mets, I would think, would be in the conversation and
obviously the Dodgers. But where do you think those three teams
and maybe the favorite to land him?
Yeah, I would think the Mets, they could use a first baseman for sure,
and third baseman for that matter.
I think the Padres could certainly do it.
Their big first baseman, Ty France, is a free agent.
Those teams jump out the most.
I don't see a fit with San Francisco, Seattle possibly.
Uh, yeah.
You know, the Dodgers don't need him.
They've got everything locked up at first and third.
But I think he'll get some decent money.
People saw that kind of missed out on Murakami.
You know, two years at $34 million,
that was a steal that this guy should get, you know,
at least a five-year deal, maybe approaching $100 million.
