Ellen DeGeneres Faces BACKLASH Over $5K Donation

Ellen DeGeneres. She posts a tearful video tribute to Matthew Wright, a longtime EP, executive producer of her talk show. So Matt Wright, who was our executive producer and was featured on our show a lot, died the other day. And he was an amazing guy. He was funny. God, he made me laugh. He would surprise me with things that he did all the time. Um, he, he was smart and he was kind. He was a part of our show that, that, I mean, everyone loved him. Everyone loved him. The family sets up a $50,000 goal to bring him home to New York funeral costs, everything, trust, all that stuff. And Ellen donated $5,000. There's a lady that's worth a half a billion dollars. Your EP dies that have been with you for decades. Fans have lost their mind. They're like, you're worth this much money. You're only given $5,000. Before I comment and say something, I don't know if she went and gave them a million dollars that nobody knows about. That was my first reaction, is that maybe she doesn't want to take over the whole campaign. Do you know that there was another death, sadly, committed suicide? I think there she did take... care of I don't know. Well, I don't know if you guys remember the rumors of how happy she was on her show. There was allegations where if you look in her eyes, you're going to get fired. If you were sick, they would fire you. Racism, humiliation. And this is all the dancing and everything. After that, you found out how she was. And this was from people that work there. And it was horrible.
